Yeah I get that. Like I said, she got better once they started doing the performances, but her attitude in the beginning was just downright awful. No matter how respected you are, you have no right to be that rude - she was just making everyone feel awkward too when she said stuff that pitted them against each other (Yamy vs Vava, BonBon Girls being top 7 vs THE9 being top 9, etc.).

Han Hong was the one who cued the top 7 vs top 9, she didn't say anything about it.
This show is just looking for drama anyway. ZhuoXuan is a perfect scapegoat because she puts quality over any sort of emotions, which is why she might seem bitchy - she'll acknowledge her own faults but won't sugarcoat it when it comes to other people's performances ​either.
You can see that she loosened up after she performed her part (cuz she was preserving her throat before) and even started reacting to jokes and cracking some herself anyway.

Yea perhaps scripted. I can tell she has good intentions afterwards, but the first part I was really just not into it. No matter how respectful in the field you are, that's not the way to act.
I agree it'd be easier for the girls to relate to someone else too. I don't even fully understand the purpose of this show though ngl - aren't 303/THE9/(G)-IDLE all still together? And Lexie and VaVa are doing great already...
Feels like production staff just wanted to throw a bunch of idols+singers together and wait for catfights or smth

Okay finished watching now. Perhaps once host got to know them a little better she became nicer? There was a 5 hour skip.
I still think the way she acted in the beginning was fully disrespectful, but for the sake of everyone else, I'll say this is a decent show so far. 7/10 - watchable

I'm like 30 minutes in and I'm sorry, all the participants are amazing, but the host is so awful? I'd drop it on the spot if it weren't for the fact I saw the performances already and am looking forward to them.

Just complaining a bit:
Han Hong comes in and everyone's being respectful to her, but then she starts calling people by the wrong name for absolutely no reason? Like it's very simple to just have everyone introduce themselves first.
And while I understand that she feels for Vava, how is she going to specifically call her out when there are 10 other girls who she absolutely doesn't know, and called by the wrong names. She even points out that Yamy can't compare to Vava. Is this not a competition show? It's not even 20 minutes in and she's showing complete favoritism. It's completely disrespectful no matter who. Wtf

Filming has been put on pause because they were found to be filming on a conservation area without a permit. They need to obtain a new permit before they can continue filming.
And not sure if this part is true, but there are photos to back it up 【CW: beating】(https://www.163.com/dy/article/GG0ONMET0517AN59.html - article is in Chinese but can scroll for photos). The crew beat the cops who came to stop them from filming, as well as beat fans who were on site. Apparently, in the mess, one fan was pushed and hurt their tail bone and may require surgery.

I think what you're not understanding is that for cdramas like this, especially where it's based off of a huge IP, fans have the power of words.
No need to sugarcoat things -- straight up express the disappointment and let the production cast know that they need to change these factors.
Of course we can't judge the acting/directing/plot until the drama actually comes out, but at the least we can prevent our favorite IPs from looking awful? And yes, clothing/actor appearances/etc. may be up to personal opinion, but when a larger percentage is expressing that they don't like it, that says something.

I'm 200% sure the cosplay outfits from MiaoWu are better than those.

No male/female trying to get in between their relationship. All the females and males in the show have their own official pairing.

Lol this plot is an absolute mess with a ton of plot twists and plot holes, but the show itself is somehow good ???
I think the best part is the characters and their relationships (not romantically) - they're all hilarious and I just want to wish them all well. There were definitely a ton of parts where I just got frustrated and x3 sped through it though HAHA. I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone, but it was surprisingly decent.

They were caught in Episode 25 and placed in VR. When they all awoke and was roped together, they were already in the VR simulation.

I would describe this drama to be 吐到上头 (basically, it's so cliche it's good). I have to admit I had a hard time continuing at first and I even sped through some parts, but overall it's good. There's cute moments, and there's funny moments. Though if you care for a genuinely good plot, don't bother haha.
Watched it for Zhao Lusi, but I think the entire cast is pretty decent here. The side characters are extremely entertaining (ignoring the villain side couple). Ling Fang fan+1 !!! Hope to see more of the cast in other dramas ^^

No, but even those on the list who are of an acting background are newbie actors. And even if Zhang Linghe is good, it doesn't change the fact that Zhai Xiaowen, Chang Huasen, Luo Zheng, and Liu Lingzi are idols.
