Can someone pls recommend me a good drama like this? wherein I get a laugh every episode till the end.
Agree that I don't think there's any drama as funny as this, but I do recommend Ryan's new drama, Moonlight (https://kisskh.at/66455-moonlight) - his character personality's pretty similar there - super cute and fluffy.

Im watching moonlight rn and im so into that one, kinda exploring ryan's drama. Someone tell me if i should watch…
100% 100% 100% recommend this one!!!
I'm not that into historical dramas either, but if you like Ryan's personality in Moonlight, you'll love his character here. It's really similar in terms of how they're cruel to others but only with FL does ML become a cute puppy (all jealous and wanting to be spoiled haha) xD

Setting aside the editing issues and completely unrealistic plot of this show, I'm still quite enjoying this.…
My friend said this to me and I think it pretty much fits here: The male lead could be a rock and Zhao Lusi would still make it work. Although I don't know why ZLS agreed to such a cliche show... I like cliches but this is a lot lol
I do want to give Liu Te a chance though - he's still really new to acting. Hopefully he grows throughout the show ^^

yeah, so apparently they found an advanced research team that can build a new mechanic heart enabling Gu Chuan…
Oh okay cuz I saw that part with the upload their consciousness to the cloud (all Upload kind of shit) and I literally saw red ?
But yea the ending was so forced…
For one, the assistant researcher lady already said that changing Gu Chuan’s heart after all these years would be dangerous. They just ??? forgot they mentioned this?
And two, some brand new research just magically appears right in the nick of time?
I swear… they could’ve given the show at least another 1 or 2 episodes to slowly explain things. Even if the ending is the same, it’s still better than explaining it all literally during the last minute.
Was really hoping for a good ending cuz the rest of the story was pretty good, but this was really disappointing.
I still want to know what happens to Tang Xu too…
And it was never answered how Su ManLin knows Tang Xu.

Can someone explain to me what the ending was??? There was so many time skips and absolutely no explanation???
So Xu GuoXiang gets jailed, along with his layman. Then what happens to Tang Xu and his dad?
And Gu Chuan just magically wakes up? Did they decide to replace his mechanical heart with a new one in the end? The thing was awfully broken - no way he just wakes up and it's magically repaired? I'm glad they have a happy ending but there's so many plotholes QnQ Did I just miss something, wtf

btw does anyone notice that FL's house is the same set as the FL's apartment on Love is Sweet? Maybe same production…
I've seen similar sets in a lot of new series. I think it's just a popular design, not necessarily the same.

Okay this is probably super trivial, but does that meter -- "Gu Renqi's Level of Mysophobia" that comes up at…
Speaking realistically, it's just because it's cute - mysophobia isn't something that can be measured quantitatively.
But it is something that can increase/decrease based on personal emotions, so if he's in a bad mood or if he remembers something traumatic, it may increase. If he's in a good mood, it may decrease.
It's kind of like having a meter to show how in love you are - it really can't be measured, but it's a cute idea.

Episode 24: I'm a little bit confused. How does Tang Xu know Su Man Lin? Was trying their entire conversation…
I don't think you missed anything! It simply hasn't been explained in the series yet. I do think Su ManLin is somehow indirectly involved in the case now though, like someone's telling her what to do.
Otherwise her actions are a little too random, especially now that I think about how she randomly decided to look through Jiang XiaoNing's resume to find her dad's name - as if she knew exactly what she was looking for.
In addition to her knowing Tang Xu, she just spells big trouble.

Title Hi, Mom
The first half of the movie, I wasn't really sure where this was headed, but it's entertaining and has quite a classic comedic feel (wouldn't expect anything less from Jia Ling). The last 15 minutes had me bawling though. It's a really beautiful tribute from Jia Ling for her mom, and I'm so glad it was so well-received.
Definitely watch it if you can ^^ The official has English subs already which was a nice addition. They're not the best subs, but they work.

While I don't think it was fair for ZJY to get in either, I don't think it's right to talk about him like that either.
He actually had already gained some fame from The Coming One: Super Band for his instrumental talents. This was where Fu SiChao and Ren YinPeng are from too (recall first stage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJdNxI0b8j4 - While the performance itself was flawed severely due to the three's weak vocals, you cannot deny their instrumental skills).
ZJY, like FSC, actually also has composition skills (Him and FSC actually composed most of their theme song remake: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65Qvb8d4gFE - You can see some BTS in one of the extras).
Additionally, if you watch the dorm series, vlogs, or other Chuang extras like the Who is the Werewolf series, you see a lot more of ZJY.
If you're going to say ZJY won because of his company and money, then FSC and RYP should have been way higher too. Wajijiwa had 4 out of 5 trainees enter R1SE in 2019. They only sent 3 trainees this year - it wouldn't have been completely unthinkable.
Every year there's someone like him who may not be talented but has a personality people like(?) and I wouldn't see why this year would be any different. I personally do like his personality, even if I cannot agree with his lack of skills. All I hope for is that he improves boatloads in these 2 years.
Either way, I can accept this result far more than I could accept last year's results so that's all. (Actually still extremely angry with last year's results)

I'm only a little more than halfway through but here are my thoughts: Pros: A mature romance! I am desperate for…
Completely agree with you on everything.
I've been waiting for an explanation on the second lead - like who did he save for her to feel so indebted to him - but they haven't given even a hint yet. Just hope he's gone soon =.= But doesn't look like she plans on rejecting him until at least a few more episodes (based on the teasers...)
I think simplistic is fine for this type of show though - it's pretty cliche. I took a look into the teasers for up to episode 24 and it seems we might get more development between the two by episode 24 (only after going through the classic "I'm only going to hurt him by being with him"/"How dare you decide my feelings for you by yourself"/Second lead wants to pretend to be together/etc./etc. stuff)

So what do we think happened to Ye Baiyi?
There's a lot of speculation but my favorite one is that YBY transferred his internal force to WKX, giving WKX the Liu He Shen Gong, allowing for WKX to survive when saving ZZS.
What this does to YBY himself, not sure. Perhaps he feels his job on this mortal world is done and passes away after giving his powers to WKX (seeing as he has nothing else to live for anyway - all his loved ones are gone and he's ensured the safety of his friend's children/disciples). Or perhaps he continues to wander around until he finally dies of old age.
Either way, I'm pretty certain he has no plans to extend his immortality and return to the snow mountains.

Hello. I’m watching this and only at episode 18 but I’m already in love with YBY? I’m scared though. I hope…
I think YBY's the most pitiful person in this series HAHA. You get more backstory on him toward the end but he really puts everyone else before himself because he already lost everything meaningful to his own life. The only thing keeping him going is his promise to rid the Ghost Valley.

The ending is definitely weird. Don’t really know how they ended up getting married and have a kid. I thought…
If you mean the Shijie, she doesn't marry Cheng Ling, but the kid is his.
Shijie marries Deng Kuan and that's his and her kid you see in the extra.
Cheng Ling's kid is apparently adopted ;w;

One thing that bothers me a bit about the ending is that throughout the story ZZS' dream was to revive Four Seasons…
Cheng Ling already knew they were going to the snow mountains. And they may not be able to go down from the mountain, but others can still go up the mountain to visit them. So when others visit (like how Deng Kuan and his kid did), WKX and ZZS can pass down their knowledge, etc.
There's no explicit explanation but I would assume Cheng Ling already learned from ZZS and thts why he was back at Four Seasons Manor and is teaching the next generation, which is why the kids address him as senior :>

I'm wondering.. Should I read the novel first and then watch the series? Or first the series and then the novel?…
Up to you! I think the novel and series is each good enough on their own.
If you want to read the novel, also read Qi Ye (https://www.novelupdates.com/series/lord-seventh/) because that's the prequel to Tian Ya Ke (Faraway Wanderers https://www.novelupdates.com/series/faraway-wanderers/). It's the same universe but different couple. Also gives a bit more info on Zhuo ZiShu's time before he met Wen KeXing.

Why did they stage WKX death? What was the point? Is it just so that he could reappear and say that he wasn't…
It's a ploy WKX created which is explained in Ep 33 I think? It's a bit rushed, but in short, it was in order to catch Zhao Jing by surprise (so he'd let his guard down), as well as symbolize WKX's separating from the Ghost Valley I guess.
