Ah thanks for the input hh I can't say because I just watch the Chinese raw. I saw some people saying that it'd be hard to find subs if Viki doesn't pick it up, so I just wanted to point out that WeTV would have something, even if it's not the best quality or anything.

Personally, I loved this show, but after rewatching it, I know that so much of it is just nostalgia. The plot itself is really cliche, the female lead is basically a brat lol, and well the dubbing is bad, etc. It's definitely great if you watched it back in high school like many of us did, but right now, I wouldn't recommend it haha. If you love yourself a cliche romcom, it's still a great rewatch tho.
Agree with everyone else that the two eps rn seem pretty bland. The concept is really great, and I'm liking that we start to see some backstory but I'm excited for more chemistry. At the moment, it feels more like a binge series rather than one that I would be willing to wait per week for. Might put it on hold and binge when it's done if episode 3 doesn't give more.
Happy ending if you count the audio reading included in the BTS extra. (LYX and BL reading the original book ending) Otherwise the show itself is an open ending, but I wouldn’t consider it sad or bad. Up to your interpretation though

The BTS extra has an audio version of what happened after, voiced by LYX and BL. It pretty much clears up the ending if u prefer a closed ending haha. It made me feel a lot better at least. Wish they would’ve just filmed those two extra minutes but it is what it is ig
