Since I found this spoiler corner, I would like to ask if Gu family is going to fail this first trial (in ep 8 LZ said that in several days, Gu family's stone is going to fail). So I want to know if someone saves the situation in the last minute, or they fail in these early stages.
I know they will get into trouble at some point (because there needs to be growth and action), but I don't expect it to happen so soon.
(I know that there is also the possibility that what is happening now is not part of the novel. Yet I ask for an answer 😅)

You won't regret trying it. This is one of the cutest cdramas I've ever watched ❤️ the relationship between all characters is 🤌🏻 and their development is so real and natural. Plus, even though everything about it is depicted in a very realistic way, this drama is quite light-hearted.

You can give it a try.
I prefered to watch it while skipping a lot of irrelevant scenes (and episodes at some point) 😅 it was acceptable to watch it in this way 😅

I finished 18 episodes. For me is so-so to good. From the very beginning, everyone has equal screen time, which made me skip through a lot of scenes. I mean, it's ok to give equal screen time to all characters after the main leads made some progress with their story and relationship and we come to care for the side characters because they have good relationships with the mains. But this story is very fragmented so I found many scenes irrelevant for us (in the first place) and for the mains. The pace is sometimes really slow and sometimes too fast. The only reason I continue watching it is because I want to know how the main lead wants to resolve his problem with his lover. Like, will he be a plain ML and choose to sacrifice him and the girl "for the sake of world's peace" or is he going to defy the heavens and give his sweetheart a happy ending?
(btw, if you ask me, even now, the FL's character isn't well developed even though she should have grown quite a lot by now)
