I am skipping all the scenes with the female lead. She pisssing me off.
Unfortunately, Cdrama writers often write female leads who are childish spoiled brats. Now I'm rewatching it and even tho I came to a point that she doesn't annoy me anymore, I still skip all her scenes because I don't care about her character or the romance. Someone wrote in the comments that in the novel, the first princess was actually more like the main love interest. I liked her way more and would love to see THAT pairing much more! She's also as intelligent as the MC. I don't know why they changed it. It almost feels like the message is- if she's too intelligent, quiet and mature- she isn't fit to be the love interest.
Nope, very different. The only things in common are the rebirth and the reverse haremJust think of it that way…
Oh I see, thanks for clarifying! I also thought that because of the similiarity that they were both empresses in the previous life. But yeah, it does sound very different. The plot of Jiang Men Du Hou sounds interesting too, so I'm looking forward to it.
The plot kinda sounds like Kunning Palace, but since Kunning Palace is one of my all time favs, and since I like this kind of plot of transmigrating into the past, I hope this one is going to be good as well.
The episodes from the wedding episode forward turn heavy and political.. π The series used to be my lighthearted escape and were a lot of fun to watch, but now the whole tone has changed, and although I already knew how this is gonna end, I was kinda hoping the heavy stuff would come at the very end. Too bad /:
This is definitely underrated. There was never a show like this and we will probably not see another show like this in years or decades. Too bad the world is still so backwards when it comes to things like polyamory, bisexuality, transgender, etc. This show potrays it all so casually and normaly, not in any forced or "educational" way, but just as part of life, because it is. Which is why I love it. Also, the story itself is just good. You're on edge and fear for the protagonists' lives the whole time, but also somehow have time to get immersed into their love stories and dreams and backstories. Well done 9.5/10.
Am I seeing things!!! A LA of the Freaking Four Faced Buddha?!!! Howwww??? What's with these unhinged danmeis…
Looks like chinese BL creators found a creative way of sliding them through the wall by co-producing with Thailand, and I'm all for it! Btw, hello fellow ace :)
So, even in real life, there are people who bully in Korea.
Bullying is a huge problem in Korea, unfortunately. This is what all the bullying portrayed in Kdramas based on (don't know about this particular guy, but in general it's an issue).
This is my first time coming across a drama set in such an ancient dynasty (around 2000 years ago?) so I'm excited. :) The story sounds interesting and refreshing too. I'm ready for something different from what we usually see.

I would have suggested one myself but don't know how to do that on this site.
