I like this drama too but some of y'all really going go pretend you don't understand why people don't like it?…
When was I pretending I don’t understand why people “don’t like” the drama when I even stated I have minor issues with how they went about the storyflow? I clearly understand why because there’s this thing called PREFERENCE. What I was pointing out was people saying it’s “draggy” and proceeded to explain why it’s not draggy for me. Get off your high horse.

Again, that’s your issue because of your PREFERENCE. That isn’t an issue for me because my PREFERENCE prefers it going that way. Given the situation they were in, GyeHoon especially (in the love line), the actual push and pull was realistic - his reason was even given more concrete basis in episode 9 at which DaHyun’s also expressed her side to their relationship. GyeHoon’s trauma was even explored in episode 9 and ppl still don’t get it, it was a lifelong trauma and you think it’s so easy to get over? The unrealistic part for me would be OVERCOMING IT WITH THE POWER OF LOVE from the get go lol. Also, ML going to the FL regardless of the situation was clearly explained in the drama 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also, DaHyun going to the police…okay okay, you might want to consider her situation, it was even clearly depicted in the drama if you were paying attention. In the beginning, they had no evidence to actually make it self-defense. She realized she was the victim, so why would she risk spending life in jail…then time came when family blew up from constant anxiety and guilt, and family went to confess for her - what the heck if you were in her situation would you have confessed with the whole family trying to confess? Then, now want to report stalker but also doing so ends up reporting one’s self AND FAMILY…you think life is so easy? When you’re in a situation where one decision could actually either make or break your life - in this situation, most likely break - wouldn’t this be the most realistic portrayal? Especially when you have a conscience yet also know it wasn’t your fault but you know you’ll have to face the consequence but you still have your whole life ahead of you, are you really willing to gamble all that?

Those kinds of details are what I want from a drama I’m watching, so yes, I have no problem with that.

So basically, FL likely is responsible in some way for ML sister's disappearance, but she doesn't remember because…
PTSD is a real mental condition…and
so is people locking up
memories they can't process.
You can even research about
people forgetting what they
did when they were on their
depressive state.

Might make you at least understand how you treating this as "kdrama staple", altho understandable, is problematic in and of itself. Maybe even one of the reasons why you don’t appreciate this drama.

P.s. the best thing about Link is they’re not into exaggeration when it comes to these sensitive topics

why her? is much better than this. this got too slow in previous episodes
Criticism is saying another drama is better than what OP is saying the best drama in her own opinion is using her own freedom of speech?

I don’t understand people saying this drama is “draggy” from the get go…are you sure you know the drama you’re watching? It has mystery, so of course not everything is gonna be revealed until the very end 🤦🏻‍♀️

You see pacing issues, I see world-building. You see dragging parts, I see laying story foundation. You see fillers, I see details.

I’m not gonna lie, I have minor issues with how they chose to go about the storyline but that’s very minimal and is of personal preference, BUT not enough to discredit how amazing this drama is at building their characters and the world around them. ALSO NOT FORGETTING, how they chose to depict actual sensitive issues and emotional baggages - honestly genius!

I wanted to drop it today(feels like story repeating and dragging + they are also wasted their chemistry with…
Drama has continually shown how it breaks away from those cliché tropes tho, they always put their own unique and refreshing twists to them…let’s just wait and see.

Why bother making all those assumptions only to be disappointed and then take it all out on the drama.

Not the best one. Extraordinary Attorney woo and Alchemy of souls are much better.
You lot are contradicting yourselves. Saying this drama is better than this drama WHEN IT’S ALL ABOUT YOUR PREFERENCE and then disagreeing when people don’t agree with you LIKE WHAT YOU’RE DOING TO OP.

Link is not the genre you prefer, it’s not your cup of tea, you like that drama better yada yada yada JUST GO TO THAT DRAMA’S DISCUSSION PAGE THEN way to rain on another people’s parade.

It's good, but not the best. The best is Alchemy of Souls for sure.
So OP can’t express his/her own opinion about Link being the best drama in Link’s own discussion page? Lol you also proceed to mention other dramas in a discussion page devoted for Link saying whatever you want to say expecting other ppl to simply swallow them while also not considering others’ opinions because???

Just a question, are they even gonna kiss in this series? I mean everything’s perfect so far but we’re missing…
Their romance is steadily developing so I think that would happen in a later episode with a few teases here and there 🙈

I have a question. It doesn't show the dead girl's body even once, they have just assumed her dead. So it's it…
If you’re referring to the twin girl’s body then it still hasn’t been found yet. We’ll also still have to wait for future episodes to answer the question about their connection~

Is this a plothole or what?
It isn’t…it’s a translation problem. She used “dongsaeng” which means younger sibling and is gender neutral, translation is the problem for turning it into younger brother. She never once specified the gender of that “younger sibling” when alone.

Title Beyond Evil
It’s a psychological thriller, not a crime drama
Keyword is “can be”…you can’t expect a show to become what it isn’t

As much as I'm enjoying the mystery thriller part, I'm not enjoying the romance part that much. They both have…
Then I’d like to think they did a great job at portraying the development of their relationship…they still are not in that phase yet so they really shouldn’t have that romantic air yet (this is only for me tho). Anyway, we’ll have to see in the later episodes altho preview suggests its fluffy part is gonna start at episode 7…I personally think they laid solid foundation for a great chemistry leading to romance.

Coming from someone who has the experience of being stalked for almost a year (& being attacked twice) infront…
Ohmygosh I hope you’ll always be safe. It’s a cruel and unfair world out there 🤧

Also, we could see DaHyun actually carried something like a weapon too (when she was being followed by that creepy girl)…so it’s safe to assume she really didn’t have any other choice since they live in a small town where it gets quiet so early and at which a cctv requested was held off for so long and was only installed after constant request by residents.

Pretty sure she also doesn’t want to add any more burden to her family by making them go with her always…this is sad, I’m getting more angry knowing you experienced such a thing.
