Lol they showed cons of using samsung zflip phone đŸ˜‚đŸ˜‚đŸ˜‚đŸ€ŁđŸ€ŁIf dahyun had normal touch phone without…
Lolol it actually has a feature where you can take a call on the outside screen and it would automatically go to speaker đŸ€Ł DaHyun must’ve forgotten from the panic or maybe they wanted to show it’s durable enough to survive a fall like that đŸ€Ł

Not sure if you even ever had any experience with trauma
this drama has the most realistic take I’ve seen…
The thing is you see this in an unrealistic perspective. GyeHoon literally just learned of the details of what truly happened whilst being made to think it was all his fault growing up. His access to these emotional triggers are in real time. Mom and grandma dealt with theirs for 18 years and they’re still that affected by their own traumas, how much more if you shoved it down the throat of a person who is directly involved with a case that is centric to his trauma in a span of a week or two? Cut him some slack, I’m even more surprised he’s handling it that well. That’s how other dramas would’ve staged their villains imo, he’s just lucky he at least has emotional support from DaHyun and JinHoo at this point.

I am so tired of all the crying, small talk and the darn cup of tea/coffee talks. I swear to God this is the last…
Not sure if you even ever had any experience with trauma
this drama has the most realistic take I’ve seen in kdrama for a long time with regards to handling griefs and traumas, especially given the situations thrown to the characters. Why even compare this with his other drama? Different premise, different characterizations, different storylines. We all know he’s a pretty crier, one of the best there is, no need to emphasize nor be demeaning about it tho??? I don’t even get your point
is your point “YOU SHOULD NOT CRY EVEN WHEN YOUR WHOLE LIFE IS A MESS EVER SINCE YOU WERE A CHILD” or “WHY ARE YOU CRYING WHEN YOU HAVEN’T BEEN CRYING YOUR WHOLE LIFE BECAUSE YOU’RE THAT TRAUMATIZED ALREADY, YOU CRYING IS SRSLY ANNOYING YOU SHOULD BE USED TO PAIN ALREADY”???

THE CHARACTERS’ JOURNEY TO HEALING
doesn’t everyone actually appreciate this storyline? This drama has one of the best developments in that area.

I'm still really enjoying the mystery and the mix of genres (since I prefer dramas to be like that anyways) so…
I actually love the mystery general plot but not their recent execution of it, the earlier revelations were amazing and I guess that’s why my expectations went sky-high thus it becoming underwhelming when their hints became more obvious
it’s the delivery of the revelations for me that made it underwhelming, not necessarily bad mystery, just that they could’ve done better - maybe less spoon-feeding in that department. Mixed genre is also okay for me, I think it suits Link, just that there are times they can’t seem to blend them as well as the first few episodes.

I also love how this drama shows us the ugly sides~~~ I live for dramas that aren’t afraid of showing the body in the fridge (lol *skeleton in the closet*)! And yes, again, this drama may have used clichĂ© tropes and themes but they add their own refreshing take to it and I’m all for that, honestly love dramas heavy with conversations that contribute to the story and Link has a whole lot of those~

Lol, it’s mystery for a reason. You can’t expect it to be revealed so early! Some people are really just 😅 better not watch it while airing, that’s my friendly advise~

I honestly get the mixed reactions this drama has been getting from its viewers especially with how episode 11 played out
the mystery/suspense/thriller part of this drama doesn’t make me as hopeful as I was before watching ep11 - I was hoping they could’ve revealed something much bigger than what has already been let on. They keep making the revelations carry weight and seem explosive when it has become something obvious from previous episodes thus all effort of it being “explosive” led to it becoming underwhelming imo
although I do appreciate them actually placing appropriate scenes hinting said revelations but the problem is how apparent their hints have become that it makes the revelation lose its purpose. I do, however, still am interested to see how the story ends - discover both what happened to GyeYoung and how the Link Phenomenon is happening to our WiFi couple.

What sets this apart from other dramas, though, is how humanistic its approach is. I am way too invested with the characters and how their day-to-day is like (which may be why I love the kind of slice of life aspect here). I also love how the drama tackles traumas, emotional baggages and scars, human emotions and relations, and even how irrational an action a person can do when in unexplored predicaments - which seems absurd for other people outside of that experience. This drama speaks volumes of the colors of a person’s life and how messy or beautiful the chaos could be when mixed with other people’s colors. It makes us empathize. It makes us realize. It makes us ponder. It makes us reflect on the reality of the world around us. It makes us see how context is as much important as presence is. It makes us human, and that being human means being willing to dive into another person’s shoes and walk in them - as they do in yours. With that alone, I’m holding on to this drama til the very end~

Overall, I have no problems with the pacing since it suits the tone of the drama. What I do see the drama to be struggling with is the theme/genre they are to focus on in specific parts of the storyline to make the story flow better and more natural.

P.s. romance is the cherry on top~ I really love how natural their love developed and that same development produced such natural chemistry between the two; just looking at them smiling at each other gives me butterflies đŸ«¶đŸ»

(Edit) P.s.s. episode 12 did much better in the mystery department and blending of various genres naturally~ they even went back to showing other characters in the neighborhood in those random light and comedic scenes (which still supports the plot) that I badly missed~

I keep thinking, when will the restaurant inaugurate?
This has become an on-going gag in the drama itself đŸ€Ł

I like this drama too but some of y'all really going go pretend you don't understand why people don't like it?…
Lo and behold, you still didn’t get what I was trying to say and still are pretending to understand lol but yeah, let’s end this not-so-much-of-a-discussion here.

Lol I didn’t say I don’t understand why people “dislike” it because I know what PREFERENCE is
so you putting words in my mouth and saying that ‘I was pretending to not understand even though I do’ is crap since what I didn’t understand was when they say it’s “draggy” since it was never draggy for me, because a show with these genres need world-building
and this said world-building is what you lot are saying to be “draggy” which it actually isn’t because it is vital for shows like Link.

Do you even understand what I’ve been saying? Lol you’re the one pretending to understand even though you actually don’t.

This is not what you could call a "taut" drama. They had enough material for a two-hour movie, but needed to expand…
I don’t agree with anything you’ve said and what does “taught” drama even mean

What if lunatic stalker’s dad was that construction worker old man bcs he sus lol (or whoever his dad will be) and he was used as an accomplice (easier to trust a child than an adult right) to lure both EGY and NDH and other possible individuals to that red gate where they operate as organ traffickers or human traffickers or something illegal warranting a human body? Which still continues on to this day - with all those female bodies possibly having connections with stalker and stalker saying NDH is the only one alive. So might be that he became unhinged because he grew up in such an environment but of course never an excuse for his actions.

Although this could be flawed because they wouldn’t have left NDH all alone considering she escaped and might have ratted them out, or maybe NDH’s dad was part of the group (and both NDH’s mom and grandma knew about this hence their guilt) thus making it possible for her to not become a victim (though she already was at this point)??? I could then think this would be why LJG aka stalker lunatic, became obsessed with NDH the moment they met again, because she was able to escape from a world he couldn’t even though he wanted to so bad - that and that no other was able to escape other than NDH thus making her a sort of hero or powerful being in his sight???

Also, since EGH’s dad was the director of the only clinic/hospital in town, then he might have been receiving organs (if they really were organ traffickers) for “emergency purposes” from them
not knowing his daughter might have possibly fallen prey to the group of syndicates which drove him mad with guilt thus did all he could to track them down, then along the way EGH’s mother found out thus drove her mad in a literal sense (since she just suddenly broke down one day and wasn’t able to recover until present right)???

Well, we also can’t really erase the possibility of EGY being alive but I think that’s highly unlikely at this point đŸ€”

I also have no idea about the “link phenomenon” yet aside from the trauma they had with EGY as the common denominator may be what connected them in a supernatural way (thus fantasy genre) lol

That’s all I have for now, folks đŸ«Ą

I find it ironic when someone who skips a drama here and there insists why a drama is good. A good drama won't…
What a way to invalidate other people’s opinion! Talk about harsh~

Your comment here is the very definition of “invalidating another person’s opinion” so yes, again, get off your high horse.

This ep9 was really draggy. Only the two leads' interactions saved it from boredom.
I honesty did not find ep9 draggy at all. We were introduced to the beginning of many subplots its now going to explore, and strengthened other subplots already explored, so I don’t get the “plot not progressing” part. I would even say there’s so much we’re gonna see on the later episodes because of how they went about ep9.

As of the moment, episode 9 has been one of the best one for me!! For people who find this episode boring, then…
I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING 💯💯💯 it’s sad people aren’t seeing the things we see in this drama tho and they’re taking it out on the drama when they don’t even understand what they’re watching~

PTSD is a real mental condition
andso is people locking upmemories they can't process. You can even research…
If referring to general Kdrama clichĂ©s, then yes, but with Link? They’ve been realistic about it compared to other Kdramas wherein they just put it there to advance the plot and not even give it much justice. Link even has their own unique twists to overused kdrama tropes (ML’s bestie, breakups, knight rescuing damsel, etc.) but when you mentioned Link using the same “mental disability” trope as mere plot device, then I would wholeheartedly disagree bcs it’s not a “trope” in Link, as what I have mentioned in my comment above.

the worst thing about this drama is that even police know that he is a stalker and girl also said he is stalking…
I think they were waiting for DaHyun to actually officially report him
but due to circumstances, she still can’t bcs their hiding his body instead of reporting him would be found out. (and yeah as what comment below stated, no concrete evidence, and also it was mentioned that how police handles stalking is not a guaranteed way for victim to be safe).
