i know it hasnt been half show away but im kinda sick with them keeping secret, why dont dahyun just tell the…
What would she say? “You know he stalked me and almost killed me so I kinda knocked him dead myself but I think he’s alive bcs he disappeared and now has messaged me, yeah I’m talking about your brother”(altho I really think he isn’t her brother)…That would be a lot more to handle compared to just letting them meet immediately once the stalker appears. You can’t control a person’s reactions so might as well just hit all birds with one stone and the only way to do that would be to let them meet, at least that’s what I would think if I was in DaHyun’s situation. I’m pretty sure DaHyun wasn’t even sure how to tell her everything and now that there could be someone who can actually control that stalker guy - a sister, so she thinks - then it would be a lot easier to actually tell the stalker “Stop! Your sister is here, she’s gonna discipline you if you keep doing what you’re doing” lol
The chemistry and dynamic between the leads is enjoyable but overall ep6 is repetitive situations.
I agree…altho it wasn’t all that repetitive for me, just that there were scenes that seem out of place - like the flow went out of its way just to introduce another subplot and it felt unnatural. Feeling hopeful for episode 7 though~ there were still scenes I enjoyed in episode 6 just that it had a different feel to it compared to the first five episodes.
Gye Hoon's mom is so much similar to Park Tae Joon's mom from love all play. Giving importance to one kid over…
This is also really sad, it hurt me thinking how young GyeHoon could have gone through all that…but I’ve also seen how adults could be so harsh even to their own kids so… :(
I don't understand why she has to always go back late, take the secluded routes and scare herself... how many…
I also want to pinch her cheeks bcs of that lol but they live in a small town so I reckon that’s just how their neighborhood usually is. I have been to places where the streets are already so quiet at 6/7pm bcs it’s a small town and people are already in their homes by that time.
I love the two lead actors, but is this worth a watch?
It is worth the try~ the genres are well-balanced and well-blended and the premise itself is interesting. The actors’ portrayals are also amazing, you shouldn’t miss it.
I just watched ep 1 and I’m so confused. Why did the mom and grandma hide the body in the fridge instead of…
Although I’m not very familiar with it but I’ve seen many comments saying it’s because law in Korea about self-defense is very complicated. Self-defense can be very hard to prove especially when it was the stalker who seemed to have gotten more hurt.
Also, I do get why they would choose to hide it instead of report it. First of all, they didn’t witness what happened so they can’t defend DaHyun, actually no one witnessed what happened so DaHyun is at a disadvantage especially when they saw the guy to already be dead. Second, I would think it was too late for that, the cops might’ve questioned why it took them too long to report when the dude was already in that state especially with DaHyun already going to the station yet didn’t report anything. They don’t even have any evidence he was stalking her - they know each other, their circle of friends assume they’re dating bcs he said so, he has her in his social media too, no return address for the packages too I assume. Third, I just think that’s what is more reasonable for “simple-minded” people, we can see their family dynamics and how their family thinks in the later episodes - the most obvious thing to do for them would be to hide the body rather than risk reporting it especially knowing their DaHyun is at a disadvantage.
Is this drama good? From the clips I have seen they are always crying every episode😅are there some light scenes…
Once you watch, you’ll understand the crying scenes but it’s not as much as what edits are showing (where there are only crying scenes involved)…so far, the drama has balanced all genres really well…there’s also a lot of seemingly light and comedic scenes that are interesting to watch since they blended it well with the fantasy/mystery/thriller genre of the drama. It’s actually a very enjoyable watch.
Even raining on other people’s parades just because you seem to be in the minority. You said you dropped in episode 3 but you’re still replying to new comments with discouragements…and the drama is already in episode 5 lol
havent started watching this but do you guys have any issues with the series?
The only issue is that people aren’t appreciating this drama enough. I love the direction the drama is going, I love how they tackle and portray emotional baggages, I love how well they mix the different genres without the viewers getting overwhelmed. You should at least give this drama a try~
For someone who claims to not like the drama and have been leaving negative comments everywhere as to discourage other people (which doesn’t really make sense since it’s just your personal preference, not even any constructive criticism), you seem to have been dedicating a big chunk of your time paying attention to this drama 🤨
No need to rain on anyone’s parade. If the drama isn’t for you, just say so and go. Just because it’s not your cup of tea doesn’t mean others also wouldn’t like it.
I personally find the comedy funny, it isn’t even RomCom but I find this drama more humorous than some of those claiming to be RomCom.
THIS STILL REMAINS TO BE THE MASTERPIECE I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I still am not able to watch other dramas, Beyond Evil just set the bar way too high. It’s not for everyone tho~ but if it’s for you then you’re gonna understanding why we keep gushing over this masterpiece and you’re gonna have the best viewing experience of your life~
I love thriller-mysteries, especially those ft a serial killer and a suspicious ensemble of characters that keep…
It actually was explained tho? Not explicitly like “in our face kind of way” (considering how the drama deals with subtleties) but it was there (even shown by the SK himself)
Beyond Evil is amazing in their worldbuilding. That’s what made the drama so intact. It may be slow burn but it didn’t feel like it at all, it felt like you’re present in that scene in real time. This also shows how amazing the actors were, making you believe that they really are real people in a real town.
That’s what a lot of naysayers haven’t experienced, thus their criticisms. It may have a lot to do with preference, but it’s sad that they weren’t able to immerse themselves in this drama’s intensity, making them fail to feel the heaviness this drama gives - thus their disconnection with it.
I still didn't get the whole point of putting the fingers out of the bench and delaying the process of catching…
It was to formally entice an investigation. Without the body, there would be no proof of murder (or the like), thus, suspect won’t be indicted. Even with the few evidences, they can easily be reasoned as coincidental (especially by a man believed to not have the right mind) AND especially since evidences retrieved outside of investigation could be ruled out and if suspect was to be pronounced innocent because of said ‘illegally’ procured evidences, they could no longer make him guilty even if more concrete evidence would be discovered later on (as repeatedly expressed in the drama).
Also, I do get why they would choose to hide it instead of report it. First of all, they didn’t witness what happened so they can’t defend DaHyun, actually no one witnessed what happened so DaHyun is at a disadvantage especially when they saw the guy to already be dead. This is only for me tho~
