I'm totally here for Wang Xing Yue - loved him in the Double...but...I really, really hate miscommunication tropes..& a bit worried @ Mom's behavior throwing a wrench into at least one person's romance. Kinda want to wait til after Episode 4 to see if out Kang Ning & Chai An get together...or the miscommunication gets resolved

Has anyone read the novel? I found it and I’ve been thumbing through it, and I cannot find any chapter that is about the current episodes. It looks to me like they have dramatically veered away from the novel. Am I missing something? This isn’t a complaint at all. I think they’re doing a wonderful job with the story. I’m just a little confused as I want to read this before season two comes out.
