Well, maybe. I’m actually reading that right now and there are no bandits in it. I’ve heard the synopsis has changed so maybe that’s it. This is a good “rebirth” novel, though!

I found this by chance on YouTube and it was quite a good spooky movie! Really good sound production, a quick moving plot and some very well done ghosts. Although, no one ever asked the main question, "Why on earth would you move into a haunted house?"

This vintage film is one of the few happy ending early films that I've ever seen. Quite frankly, this could be remade into a modern family drama . I thought Tto Suni (or Toosun as they call her in the subs) would be a pushover and then, for a moment, thought she'd be yelling fishwife of a woman but no - she's courageous, hardworking, not willing to let people mooch off her but also willing to lend people money when they need it. Not a MarySue!

Watched this with my (partial) family as a Mother's Day treat. Surprisingly, everyone loved it and we had some great discussions about our favorite characters.

Loved that most of these actors have had long careers - that's usually a good sign of acting and visual appeal. My long time "older" Chinese drama actor - Louis Koo in the 2001 "A Step Into The Past." He rides a horse and fights like he was born to it!

Although the whole "dressing as a man" trope is cute - there are women's hockey teams! The Chinese women's hockey team just wrapped up training in my home state in the USA. They are good skaters - just have a women's team!

Watch the trailer: That looks cute, I wanna watch... Read the synopsis: uhhhhhh... well....I think I have ignore…
Me too! Took me about 8/9 of the synopsis to realize they were taking about being clothing salespeople. Um, I think.

Title Born Again Spoiler
Well, I was hoping for a show about solving crimes but - so far, I see a show that is piling one trope on top of another. I'll stick it out but - meh. The writer doesn't understand Roman Catholicism and the concept of rebirth, forensic archaeology or how Korean prosecutors work. Just think of this as a fairy tale and you'll feel much better.

lol yea i was like b*tch what're you even gonna say it legit wont make a difference
It's one of the craziest lakorns I remember (and I saw the original years ago) - so I really hope it gets fully subtitled someday. Sometimes, a little crazy is what you need! Le Sigh - the one site that keeps being mentioned in the comments here has only one episode in two parts.

Marry Me is based on a Chinese novel that I've been reading and it's quite funny - also melancholic. At one point the male lead is waiting for the female lead to come home so he can cause her grief and, while poking around her poor house, notices that all her books and writing supplies are well dusted. It just occurs to him at that moment (he's a bit of dumbo) that a person who loves playing music must have also loved reading and writing and he thinks about how sad her newly-blind life must be. As a reader myself, this just killed me. I'll be waiting no matter when it airs!
