While I enjoyed the youthful cast, I felt the idea that their parents would split them up like that is terrible. I know it's the brother's request but - don't phones work both ways? Weibo? Letters? I've seen this happen in dramas before and I think it's pretty awful. It's like the parents would wipe the slate of their family. I'm going to have to go and cool off now . . .
I'm not ever sure how to rate Steven Chow movie. Parts are very offensive, parts are total rip offs of other movies and 3/4 of the rest is ridiculously funny. The behind the scenes shots at the end are particularly good. They show you how it is to be asked to do totally idiotic things with a straight face - and make it all work out. Rent it - perfect pandemic viewing.
My husband gave me the dvds of Rich Man, Poor Woman one year for Christmas- Yep, he’s a keeper! Thanks for the article - I’ll definitely give Rurouni Kenshin another try.
Just finished this in order to fulfill a requirement of the MDL 2020 Drama Challenge and it was just totally not my thing. I enjoyed the puzzle solving and Park. Minyoung is smart as a whip but the cringey story line just killed me.
