Why does this drama lists as airing on Tencent Video, but I can't find this drama on WeTV?!?! Is this really airing on Tencent Video. If this drama is really from Tencent, we can expect top-notch CGI, sets, and scenes. All Tencent dramas have this kind of quality, even the ones that bomb on Douban ratings... BUT as of today, drama not shown on WeTV. Methinks some other company did the live action drama (that's y it not shown on WeTV), so can expect subpar CGI?

I just that this show is doing really good in china right.. people are praising the show..
I watched the S1 anime from WeTV. It's all in Chinese subs but I found and ENG subbed version on torrent. I'm impressed by the character design and the artistic direction. Tencent really strived to make it cinema quality (the anime I mean) not TV quality from music to story to everything.

how many girls have romantic interest in ML and who are they?
I hate this kind of drama where all the girls look better than the FL. This kind of weakness doesn't exist in JoL that is one reason y it is rated higher than SSS on Douban!

Those who don't read Chinese... When u watch this on WeTV, the title clearly says Season 1. Why Tencent bother…
Those who claim all dramas will have S1 in their title these days... They don't know what they're talking about. Princess Agents has nothing to lose backing out of S2.

The company making SSS is Tencent. Can u imagine the kind of business they will lose if they promised SSS is only the S1 but failed to deliver S2? Ppl will call them liars, unsubscribe from WeTV/Tencent Video etc. Remember, Tencent only makes dramas to get ppl to subscribe to VIP access. A single lie will ruin their reputation and cause them to lose millions of VIPs!!

At the worse, Tencent will do SSS S2 half-hearted like low budget Ever Night S2 received after S1 bombed! This is big Chinese media company we're talking about. They got to cash to blow on SSS S2, albeit with less grandeur.

This show officially sux. Moved from 5.9 to 5.7 rating on Douban. I never seen a show rating dropped as more episodes aired. Remember Ancient Love Poetry? That show literally bombed at the beginning with 5.4 score then slowly climbed to 6.1 towards the end.

EDIT: Nvm, AoL still stuck at 5.2 on Douban. I remember it was 6.something at one time...

This drama rating is low despite its quality because:1) They advertised it as Wuxia drama when it is actually…
This show sucks. The Douban ratings is the true viewers opinion. Tencent movies suck. They haven't had one scoring over 500million at the Chinese box office. Meanwile Alibaba already netted 700million plus with Hi Mom. In general Tencent movies and dramas suck. They're only good at vid games and CGI anime. This explains y the CGI in SSS is fantastic becoz Tencent is specialist in this department. Otherwise their dramas full of cheap gimmicks to keep the suspense. We see Fan Xian dying in JoL last episode. Bet u at the beginning of S2, he actually wasnt even close to dying, or somehow the back stabbing turned out to be a farce. That is just so typical Tencent using cheap gimmicks to keep the plot interesting. This is what I hate about the writers Tencent hires to write their drama scripts. Their only goal to produce these dramas is to drive in revenues from WeTV VIP subscriptions and such. I'd rather some other companies take these drama IPs and produce something where the aim is to get TV channels to want to air them, not something that employs cheap story gimmicks to keep VIPs perpetualy renewing their membership.

Nobody gives a crap about Vlinkage. The gold standard had always been the Douban ratings and boy does SSS stink (relative to Joy of Life)!

The Chinese viewers are saying "this show sucks arse". That's y they gave it a 5.9/10 (so far). Meanwhile Joy of Life starring almost the same cast received 7.9/10 in the end. I've learnt to be wary and wait for the Douban ratings to come out before diving into a drama. But I got suckered into starting this one all becoz the ML of Joy of Life!

There's an anime? Where can I watch it?
it's on WeTV (www.wetv.vip/en). You have to add the slash en at the end to make the website display properly. Twin Mirror Cities anime is only in Chinese, but I found an ENG subbed version on torrent...

TF these show producers play such cruel tricks. Twin Mirror Cities (anime version) managed to finish S1 in just 4 episodes! CPC not doing enuf to stop companies like Tencent from torturing viewers of dramas. They should implement a rule where S2 is not allowed unless it's a standalone sequel not the continuation of S1!

Only 5.9/10 on Douban (so far). Joy of Life had 7.9. I found SSS to be rather boring. Too much politics not enough fights. It has the typical Tencent rich company trademark where the SFX are perfect but everything else falls apart. When MC weilded the sword at the Wudang waterfall... Only Tencent could pull off that kind of SFX. But everything else is weak. Im also wary of anything that is immediately labeled S1. China banned long TV series so these guys r playing the trick of breaking into seasons. Look at Joy of Life. That show was literally half of a drama. I hate watching something that isn't complete. Douluo Continent at least did this right. Theres another season of that coming but at least part 1 was a complete drama.

Douban ratings:6.7/10 - Worm Valley (2021)8.2/10 - Lost Caverns (2020)Not as good as the previous (2020) part…
I like how they rehatched the same plot though. In 2020 the group of bandits died off one by one. In 2021, the idiot villagers perished one by one slowly...

Production quality and CGI deserves praise!
No need. It's a Tencent production. Tencent is a very rich company. All their productions are like this level of quality, even the terribly rated ones.

Yup, I too dropped this drama coz of the FL. But the other reason is it seems mainly to promote some bad and very addictive MOBA games under Tencent holdings.

The first time I saw the FL was in 3Lives3Worlds. My God what an annoying character she was. Sob* Dijun Sob* Dijun. That all she ever had going on in the entire drama!

What's up TV shows based on MOBA games? Mobile Legends has an anime series now in addition to YAMG being just a giant advert for King of Glory/LoL Wild Rift. I thought Tencent and Moonton were competitors. How come WeTV now showing the new Mobile Legends anime!?!? I'm confused. Did Tencent invest in Moonton? Is this y Tencent showing a Moonton cartoon series?

FBS S1 only got 4.4/10 on Douban vs Douluo Continent's 6.4/10. It's not a secret the investors don't want to spend too much money to make FBS S2.

Ever Night didn't live up to the hype. So in season two, they reduced the budget. Hired less famous stars. Half arsed the CGI. The end result, it sucked more than S1.

Fights Break Sphere trodding down same path. S1 didn't live up to the hype. So they axed Wu Lei to save on the cost of hiring him, etc.

Good things not all sequels will get the half arsed treatment. Xiao Zhan coming back for Douluo S2 means we can expect better things to come...
