I'm glad this drama is doing so well, of course there're some plot holes, but it's a compact story. Each and every actor has contributed their 100 %. It's actually underrated in my opinion

I'm not a big fan of Esther because i stan so many people, but if she were my idol and I'd waited for her drama for a year, and finally when it's airing i found out that the director and the production house is mistreating her, I'd be disappointed too. Where was the fault: 1. iqiyi didn't let anyone know the airing date. This drama was rumoured to air on nov-dec, but it came out suddenly as a damage control from the failure of their previous project, and that too without any promotion. So obviously the leads fans were disappointed. 2. I don't think the screen time matters for the leads, but the lovestory is too simple to make people curious about them. There's nothing to mention, just the ml fell in love suddenly after just two meeting and the fl is starting to have feelings for him. Bruh i won't ever start a drama if this is the main plot 😏 3. Deleting the main leads' vital moments. I heard Esther spent 36 hours on the fight scene with JF, which is edited to just 2-3 mins. The ML has an incredible memory, but the scene where it'll be discussed/revealed was chopped, only his idiotic moments are highlighted. And the actor had to apologize for that which is a shame. 4. The couple promotion: Currently both the leads are busy with their new projects. As their September schedules were declared, they can't give this drama the time it's needed. Whose fault is this? It's the production house who did them dirty. As the 2nd 3rd couple are free now, they're doing most of the promotions and showing their support fully, which is good. I appreciate it. But still c fans aren't fully satisfied with this alternative plan.

She said it before YWS is totally opposite of her personality, she's more like GZS in real life, cheerful and a bit dramatic. So doing this kind of serious role is quite challenging. Please continue watching the drama, this is so far so good. The male lead is a little naive but a gem of a character in Cdramaland. He's from head to toe, right to left a green flag.
The FL is great in her own way. She was raised in a toxic environment, still she's always ready to help people especially the innocents. Her actions are very subtle, her expressions also. that's why some people who aren't fully invested into this drama may found her expressionless. But if you concentrate you'll find her super cool and kind.
Actually the incense and the tea is the deadly combination. If someone drinks tea while inhaling the mild poison present in the incense they'll die. When SGQ gestured the FL don't drink the tea, it's poisonous she thought (or acted naive) SGQ was asking her to poison the tea so she dropped a little bit of her nail polish into the tea and gave it to the girl. Actually SGQ planned to kill the girl slowly and YWS tried to save her with the nail polish poison which showed the symptoms within a day so the guards found out early and started her treatment.
