This drama is so underrated. I haven't seen the leads' previous works but i must say they can act. And because of their matured and intense acting this has become ML(man love) instead of BL haha. I liked the wicked smile on the 1st lead, it suits his personality here actually. but as the camera showing it again and again even after when their conversation ended, it got a bit irritating. They don't need to capture his every facial expression, we know what's happening in his mind, i guess. The bodyguard is hot though, my fav character in this series. Hope in the upcoming episodes he gets more screen time🤞
Loved this novel. Fell in love with Ziqi, and his chemistry with MM 🔥….Ziqi is not the perfect guy a girl would want but he's something that'd make you feel pity and love at the same time. Whoever is going to play this character, I hope he'll do justice to it. As I love fairytale endings of such classics, the ending of the book felt a little off. Ik the author wanted to leave that to our imagination but after all the hustle Miaomiao and Ziqi had gone through, they deserved a proper wedding in the human world. Anyways, hope the production team will make this drama as amazing as the book. Rooting for Esther✌💛
So many cuts ufff! If you collect all the plotholes it'll become a manhole. Seriously this drama had very potential to be the best bl of 2023 (in my opinion) but idk if the director or the editor was too confident about making it an art piece, actually had made it complicated. The acting, chemistry, dialogues and cinematography were just perfect. Loved the character Jihyun, he's smart but simple, easy to understand, whereas JaeWon is way more complex, difficult to deal with, and a totally clueless kind of guy. He's I guess 25, good at making bad decisions lol, his dad's earning well so he didn't even bother to think about jobs or his future. If I were TaeHyung I'd be jealous of him too. But I couldn't hate him. Because he needed care/love after his bro's d**th which his parents couldn't give, his ex gf couldn't understand him. So I can say he's saved by JH.
