One key detail that I think we all missed - **** FL never told 2ML that she likes ML***** ..... and she lied that she does not like him and that he never liked her......... She did tell him that he saved her from sharks and paid off her bill.
and FL never told 2ML about anything that happened at Jeiju island.... or about ML saving her life on the boat .... and then she kissing him..... .

That did allow 2ML to show his true selfish clingy lying colors. He too is a liar, never said a word about 2FL and never confessed to FL, and kept trying to insert himself and separate ML and FL.
ML is relatively mature, he is smart and has integrity. He has ways to grow but he is far ahead of FL, who is essentially a scared 3yr old. FL is totally immature and has no integrity, keeps hitting on him although she is supposedly married. Kissing him on the boat, going to his apartment, helping him copy, etc and physical proximity, etc etc etc.
So how will FL grow up in just 6 episodes?
She is caught red handed and forcing her to confess does not change the situation - she is still a slimey liar and he is helping a damsel in distress - how will she grow up so that they are moree equal?

In another online forum, I saw that ppl think that Dir. Ko is actually not a bio mom of WJ and EH. Because all their documents are gone yet she took care of them for a year before they were dropped at the orphanage. What a great observation! So WHAT IF that is true? Whose kids are they?
Obviously, Dir, Ko used them to her benefit. The concensus is that she pulled WJ out of the orphanage because his ear infection was the excuse to con the doctor into marrying her. When that did not work, she used it as a bait to con the Chairman into marrying her.
For the record: in another online forum, ppl think WJ is a victim because he lived all his life under the control of his totally-criminal-con-artist "mom" . I think he is an adult, he was involved in helping his "mom" do con jobs for like 3 decades, esp when he was "studying abroad" and he could think for himself a lot earlier. I am glad he started to think now. ANd I hope someone buys him a liver or Dir. Ko donates. So yeah.... if she is not his mother, she might not be compatible...

So it is a very safe and comfortable situation and he is clinging to it.... selfishly. He sees she does not love him and she loves ML but he is not letting her live her life. Also, he decided to pounce only when she invited him to act her husband. If it were not for that, he would be cowardly staying quiet and distant.
Also, he does not have feelings for her... He THINKS now of keeping her close by roping her in as a wife, but he does not feel it, his hormonal system is not involved and his heart is not involved... If he loved her, he would have been all over her and trying to get closer, to talk to her, to touch her, etc. He cannot even tell her he likes her. They never share their deep thoughts and feelings. Therefore, that is NOT love.

I enjoyed this drama at the start because of ML actor. It is really fun to see him progress. He was in some of my favorite dramas My Mister and My Roommate is a Gumiho.... I really remember his (small but crucial) role in MM, he was excellent; and in MRIAG he was the ML but did not act too much -
and now he is ML of a very complex nature in a "major drama" and he is acting it very well. So just for that, the drama was worth it. I am looking forward to his next project.
The script could be a lot better for this drama. The discrepancy between ML and FL is too much. She is too immature, weak, insecure, scared, and slimey. He is also immature, saving his mom and not able to translate his business skills to his love life and nail people down to tell the truth. The drama is for young ppl, they are both "beginners" and the issue up front is hormones LOL Also, FL in this drama is a dumb loser, she is not very discerning or smart, to be blunt about it, which drags the overall quality down.
It is possible to create a great drama with immature people and/or misunderstandings.. I am watching Nice to Not Meet You and it is also two immature people in misunderstandings, but somehow it is a lot deeper bc their connection and interaction is on much deeper level, and both ML and FL are smart and competent adults who understand very well what is going on - well, everything except dating, where they are both clueless beginners LOL - so the plot is more complex and is very hilarious. That drama is excellent in every way - script, camera, music, acting, etc. It also started with ML a little too wild but got on the super good track by ep ... 4? And every episode is better and better.
