I love how you said it is is a psychological chess match and the board keeps being overturned. We audience are like learners in a psychiatry school. All characters in this drama are mentally off .
The only one who had some sanity and lived sticking to honesty principles, with least delusions and lies and pretense, is KB, who is dead.
Everyone else sold their soul out of greed, to get something. Even Ha Neul, at the very start, failed to say hey I like you, and let JW keep rampaging and even helped her. Out of his own cowardice, he is standing by her, protecting her as she commits crimes.

Gosh this drama is so good about showing conseqences of every choice we make

Hm isnt she a victim of her mother... ? and responded so nicely to love and care of HR as a a 'good mom'? So .. isnt there SOME possibility of her redemption arc... ?
And yeah she is nasty, really nasty.... but you dont want her to grow up?

I think Chairman has more connections and more money and will squish them. Keeping the Chairman under control will be a formidable task. He will keep trying to kill Su A

So far, Su A th graceful liar made a deal with Chairman to keep her alive bc at least he will look good to HR and will not grow apart from him. But what will Su A say now to convince the Chairman to not destroy her... ?

What kind of "love" is Ha Neul feeling to keep supporting JW in her crimes? He stands by her like the Cricket from Pinocchio and tells her - be honest - and she says NO I WILL NOT! and he is still there, kissing up to her and "protecting her" ... Just like Shinubi said, like a dog sniffing the butt waiting for a chance to jump on and mate.

First of all, JW is not capable of love. She is so immature that her only focus is to harm her bio mom. She is incapable of true caring, giving, self honesty, self relection, self accountability, willingness to talk honestly, to see another person, to be compassionate, etc which are all required for love.

HN has that component of love where he truly care to help JW, but he lacks that component of love which is critical, to hold JW accountable. He spoils her...

Even if HN and JW got together, what kind of "love" would it be, based on being partners in crime? Does it have any chance to succeed?

I think HN is turning himself into her psychiatric nurse, brother or father, not a potential love interest. Maybe like in It is Ok to Not Be Ok, he will finally win his mental patient, but ...

SH also does not really love JW. First, he is in denial of who she is... JW is weak and insecure and willing to hurt him to get her way. JW does not love him and never loved him. She married him out of business interest and lied to him the entire time... She was just enamored by the idea that a rich guy adores her. SH has to let go of his obsession with her...
Second, SH does not really love JW. He never worked hard to help her. His main interest is protecting his obsession and desire to own her... As someone noted, when she was injured, he did not ask her how she was, he asked what she is doing with HN... his jealousy was more important than her well being. That is not love..

JW invited death of her father, by playing games to torture HR and exposing to everyone that she is Su A ....... which did succeed! and led to HR guilt hysteria and trying to commit suicide in front of KB and KB's fall while trying to save her.
But, JW's games led to Chairman trying to kill KB and Su A, and Chairman trying to control HR.... and driving HR more insane... which led to that hysteria suicide scene and KB's death

***** JW wanted to torture her bio mom and she succeeded!!!! But JW was not willing to pay the price - the insanity of her mother led to her father's death and also will lead to Su A's death.... The Chairmain will try to kill her.

Now JW wants to do more destruction - so what else will JW ruin in the process... ????

***** JW is like a sorcerer's apprentice, she meddles with things she has no clue about and causes major messes. Who is going to stop her from causing more and more problems??? She is too insane , LACKS ANY SELF ACCOUNTABILITY, and keeps on going into more rampage now.

*** The most disturbing thing in this drama is that JW 100% lacks self reflection and ability and willingness to collect information. She is *** clueless*** but always ah so sure she knows it all and is ready to play god and punish ... her bio mother. It is always this hate and desire to destoy her bio mother. Imo JW is mentally insane.
and it is disturbing that JW actress is so flat and incapable of acting, unable to make this character feel real. It drags the whole drama down as JW just stands there like a stick.

And yeah what if JW is pregnant... ? She was trying hard. I do not see her doing morning nausea or constant pregnancy nausea, so I hope she is not pregnant... as she is now going back to K house as daughter Su A.... and will be running into SH and realYC as his wife LOL

SH might turn to be an evil empire heir since his dad told him he will lose the emire if he leaves for JW and SH so far did not leave the empire... SH might live with RealYC and ... then ... she might become a little more stable bc of him and he might become a lot more evil bc of her... Their interaction in the shower gives a taste of what their relationship will be like.. !!!!

SH might learn to love RealYC but he is far from that, and also she tried to manipulate him. Yeah she finds him her type but it is not love or real liking *him* as a person, as he is... She is attracted to his wealth and his looks. He acted very sexy with her - in fact, as a sexual predator in that shower scene - and she likes those :) So they actually match.... and I have a feeling they will end up together at some point.

Also, RealYC was manipulating manager Gu..... she has no feelings for him.

I think manager Gu and Nan Suk might be a better option :) There is something going on there for sure.... But Nan Suk is probably beyond redeemable...

so maaaaybe manager Gu and realYC, after she is done playing with SH and after NS ends up in jail.... ? Maaaybe... And even then, he might take her in as her father, not as her lover. I am not convinced yet that Manager Gu has sexual interest in RealYC

yeah I 100% agree, the Chairman is *the* most pressing problem as he is a masterfully camouflagd serial killer and gaslighter and nobody alive but his henchman and Nan Suk are fully aware of that
yeah the rest are all variables LOL I question the quality of SH's "love" for JW... I question JW's ability to love anyone.... I question HN's motives... I question RealYC state as she is actually more fragile than she looks... I learned that when she was really smitten by HR's gentle and caring motherly love... RealYC is starving for real love.... and is a ruthless criminal bc of it...

The Chairman is a horror story. Such a polite seemingly caring serial killer and gaslighter. He is sooo well camouflaged, nobody is fully aware of who he is, except his henchman and Nan Suk.
Nan Suk is playing with fire, watchng the Chairman in his killing sprees... she is a witness and still alive...
That is where Manager Gu might come in handy to protect her. I think he has a crush on Nan Suk too.... :)

Actually, the primary killer is JW herself. SHE, JW, HELPED TO KILL HER FATHER BC SHE PLAYED ALL THOSE GAMES AND HER FATHER TRIED TO STOP HER.

JW set up all those games to hurt HR that led to HR losing her mind and doing stupid stuff, and her father getting involved and trying to prevent the games.
and JW has no self reflection about any of it. She goes to harm HR.

HR is a victim of her own lust and greed, and resulting blindness to the fact that her loving husband is a serial killer.

JW has to develop more understanding of her mother, esp since JW went the same route and sold her soul to the devil and married in lies just to have $$$$$.

And also, JW is so bitter, bever collects information, and always plunges into blind revenge and that is a waste of her life. Why doesnt she spend time to win some design contents or work as a designer... ???

But truly it was an accident, HR was trying to kill HERSELF - what a stupid entitled woman, trying something so reckless in front of KB!!!! - and while saving her, KB fell and got severely injured.

Then HR invited KB's death by not calling the ambulance and staying there until the ambulance came.
We could say that HR is innocent - well, more precisely, stupidly entitled and selfish snowflake - because she left KB with someone she trusts and who promised to take care of it - she left KB with her own " loving doting" husband.

If her husband were a truly trustworthy person, we could say that HR is innocent.

But HR knew that the Chairman is not trustworthy.

Therefore, we can say that HR indirectly killed KB by leaving him with Chairman.

yeah it is hard to believe that a bio mom would be so cruel to her kids,..... but ... it is possible.... She COULD be just a mean bio mom... Like bad mothers from The Glory, Mother, or Ms Incognito....

I never said I was expecting her to *gush* about Juju "vacation" while her mother is in the hospital... I am expecting her to at least ***mention*** it to SU bc it was a big deal, even the embarassment - she could have said she met a really nice guy and went on dates, had a great time, and messed up. That much! One sentence, like she told about loan sharks. SU is not a girl after all and she does not have to tell all details, but she should MENTION It, bc I am sure at some point he asked "how was Juju".
As for cultural norms... OK if you are expert on Asian customs... but ... Her mother was in the hospital and it was an emergency, sure, but that settled after a while... and DR *was* thinking of JH. It was a big deal, esp when he showed up at work. THEN JH BECAME A BIG EMERGENCY. At this point, DR must have told SU.

and as you said, DR should have mention it to SU when she pulled him into lying (that there was someone she briefly dated) - she lied by not mentioning it to manipulate him into accepting... He should have been aware that there is some guy out there.....
She DEFINITELY should have mentioned it to SU after she saw that ML is her boss at work. Right now, DR is exposing SU to danger and using SU, as he has no idea of DR-JH history. That is super unfair to SU. Keeping lying to SU is suuuuuper slimey.

Also, her boss saved her so many times, and she never told SU about anything except loan sharks, and kept lying that there was nothing between them. That is a heavy heavy lie, throwing SU under the bus. Her boss told her he was swayed and wanted to kiss her. She likes her boss. SU better know about it.

It is true that Da Rim had no options for making money so she lied to get into Bebe and stuck to her BeBe job. Ok, that was not a good decision, but she decided to stick with that morally gray area and lying for 6 months and she initially lied to JH bc she did not know him. The drama is counting on our sympathy for a "poor" person using their wits to survive in rich person's world - ok, let us say we allow DR to lie for 6 months. BUT it is not an unconditional approval. Our approval is conditional: if she is going to be a Robin Hood for 6 months, she must not hurt anyone in the process.

She should have cut the lies when JH got too involved. JH helped her so many times, he saved her life and paid the loan sharks and SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD HIM THEN. That she has more bills to pay and has to work at a well paying job until she pays it off. He clearly was on her side. He would either pretend that he never knew she was not married, for 6 months or at least until she has enough good experiences to put on her resume, OR he could help her get a job somewhere else - he is a chaebol, he can put her up to work so many places!!!!

By now she did a few good jobs and is easily transferable, esp with his recommendation.

The worst thing about DR is that she lies non stop and never clears anything up.

I dont think she "accidentally" sends mixed signals, She sends unedited signals, without turning her brain on to think how a married woman would behave and how she is behaving and what it means. She acts on her impulse, without thinking about JH.

Yeah she is not discerning and she is not smart. Also, she disregards herself, SHE LIES TO HERSELF, she disregards her own feelings and even the facts she already knows, like her drinking confession. She is oblivious to the fact that she likes JH and keeps openly hitting on him.

She is also oblivious to JH's helping behaviors and his WORDS that he is swayed.
To think that JH does not like her after he says he is swayed and starts kissing her, or does not give her to her husband, is ... delusionally and intentionally BLIND, as if she has no brain whatsoever. At this point, i question her mental state and her ... sanity.

To say that she was living as a hermit is way too kind... The truth is, she was a parasitic family member. She was living as a small child, at her family expense.... as someone hiding from life, and non stop failing it.... She was living like a mental asylym patient. Why do we feel sympathy for a woman living like that? Bc it is acceptable that women are failures and dependent on others. This message of this drama is ... devious.

As for SU:
SU's delusions were fed and went out of control bc of DR's lying. DR never told SU she dated JH and was interested in JH to the point of being in bed with him, and then lied she is not interested and he is not although they had almost-kissing encounters like zillion times when they started working together.

Luckily DR's lies were useful to help SU expose his skeletons in the closet... now we know why SU is divorced and single :) He needs to see it too.... His dark side is that he does NOT want to risk intimacy. He does NOT want to be close. He does NOT want to share. He does not want to risk putting himself out there to her. By definition, only shallow can do that.... . **** He wants to own and control and keep a shallow veneer of happy companionship. **** As if Da Rim were a doggie. Only nice times together.*****

SU wants safety, comfort, and DISTANCE. ***** In other words, he does not want a love relationship with another human. He wants a dog.

So that is one of the reasons DR did not share about Jeju - bc DR and SU never shared really meaningful private information. That is why he is not even like a brother to her but more just a good neighbor.... he is certanly not best friend... he is ok friend... . if they had managed to get really close, some sparks might have started. But there are no sparks and DR is clear about it. SU is just hoping there could be, but even he does not have any sparks. He is just THINKING "it would be nice if she stayed next to him bc it is comfortable". He is not feeling. And that is why he cannot have a woman in his life at this point. He cannot feel, he cannot share, he cannot be honest because it is painful. He is scared and closed off, and he "deals with it" by becoming very possesive and controlling, clinging on.

and on we go. In short, dark sides of DR, JH and SU (and even HY) are exposed and the situation is ripe for healing, transformation and character growth. They better hurry up since only 6 episodes are left and they have not even started transforming.

Oh use your reading skills and count how many ppl here said the same thing I said :) We all want CLARITY and real action, not toxicity.
