queen's house for the first 20ish episodes was a disaster imo
then the script got moving faster and FL grew up fast
it is higher quality than woman who swallowed the sun, the script is more interesting, ppl grew and changed
Also the vibe is warmer, the lead group of good guys are all "good" family ppl so there is a certain warmth, there is betrayal and also genuine remorse, forgiveness, etc. Things that WHSTS just doesnt have....
and even the ML villain is a good family person and a complex person in Queen's House. There are 2 small kids as well, and close knit families like that
so it is very different than WHSTS where it is all adults trying to outwit each other and the villains are real psychos, very one-dimensional
QH is not a masterpiece for sure LOL but is watchable and enjoyable, it is more meaningful and has better messages and better plot, a lot better script

I am watching this now just to see if it can get any worse. The music got better, now it matches the scenes and does not take away but adds to the scenes.
The script unfortunately IS getting worse and I am thinking that I learned what I was curious about - can this get any worse? YES. - and can drop this drama.

Whoever is writing the script, needs to start writing something that makes sense, or quit.
Lucia is as dumb in ep 82 as she was at the start. There was ZERO self reflection by Lucia in this entire drama. In terms of growth, she is more glam and more calm, but still essentially the same person as she was in ep 1 and even a worse person, enjoying her power trip, lying and manipulating others. Lucia grew BACKWARDS. She is as dumb as before, and now evil too.

How is that dumb woman supposed to be a CEO? Or a mother? She is incapable of being a good mother too... !!!! her behaviors led to the death of her daughter and she never once reflected on it.

Now as a CEO and generally as an employee earning her pay, she is completely reckless and clueless, running around instead of tending to billion dollar deals and leaving a good impression as the new CEO.

The script writer keeps putting Lucia in dumb situations and then saving her magically. It is BORING. Lucia is weak and blind, for 82 episodes. Please...

Lucia eats the seafood stew..... does not grab the jacket off the floor... does not call for help.... goes to storage alone instead of going with someone and leaving the kid with that person....

EVEN A LITTLE CHILD WOULD HAVE MORE SMARTS THAN THIS.

I dislike that Lucia mostly does exactly what she is revenging against - she lies and manipulates - and she thinks she is "good". Manipulating and blackmailing SeRi under the disguise of love is 1000% evil. She is destroying SeRi. Lucia is a villain. A dumb and lucky villain.
Marrying the Chairman is plain sleazy evil. The script that makes them not share the bed and even a little kiss is just STUPID.

The script is super lazy, not creative and very cheap.

This is a super cheap script writer. Seems like they gave the job to someone without any experience or creativity

I thought that was funny, with the music played LOL I thought it was a refreshingly funny and new scene for this dead serious dumb bs drama.
I was blown away by Lucia eating that stew, or by Lucia going to storage room instead of redelegating it to someone or at least going there with someone and leaving SR with that person.. ..

yeah perhaps her affection for .. the CEO MDS? or the title of his wife? Or the status she gets by playing his wife? For 30 yrs she did the same as Lucia now - she took care of him and never slept in his bed. So she was his wife. practically.

Yes indeed Lucia is still the same bozo in ep 82 as in ep 1. A little more glam and a little more calm, but the same woman of low IQ, always making really dumb mistakes out of dumbness.

Those losers are usually "good" characters, who are naive, insecure, etc and in fact acting as indirect villains i.e. enablers, because they allow the real villains to wreck chaos, unchecked :) So their path of redemption is to stop being enablers... and to still stay good LOL I think this plot was suitable for housewives in 1950s... or abused women...

In this drama, the FL is not an enabler :) She starts as a good but insecure naive character who is capable and keeps trying to win her life in proper ways - but lacks the luck and the know-how to move on forward - and then.... makes a bad decision out of greed and complacency, and then goes further down the easy glam shady path LOL and then she has to return :) her redemption will be to make her designer dream come true and make money that way and leave the impersonation
I think this plot is applicable to any contemporary working woman today :)

there was no reason to since I wrote "brother" not brother. Dont jump to conclusions yet :) Well maybe you are sensitive to this topic so we cleared it now - he is NOT her biological brother. She is an imposter, a total stranger impersonating his sister, AND he knows that and so far is helping her hide it AND he knows her since high school and in fact she was his first love in high school. She is his sisters best friend since high school :) Well she and his sister recently became enemies LOL but that's another story

This drama is so well done. The complexity makes it interesting, and the fact that FL is not a clutz as typical. FL actress is doing a great job portraying the complexity, which is also rare.

I think the description of the drama has to be changed bc it does not really fit the vibe. This is not a cheap makjang but a very serious deep psychological drama (and social commentary).
The acting is great.

SH is a spoiled brat who lives for $$$$ and is a pion of his family. I predict that he will marry YC and then cheat and lie on her. Imo he is unsuitable for real marriage bc he is a weak person used to living in lies cheating and scheming.
ML is a good guy and honest guy, he will protect and care for FL, he keeps her sane and honest, and he is the husband material

FL's "brother" crush and first love is FL.... and he still likes her now.... and I bet she and he will end up together. He is a good guy and imo will keep helping her ....
