There is very little chance DoDo will even change OR be caught bc she is a psychopath functional enough to cover her tracks. Did you know that psychopaths have a different brain than normal ppl? The brain center for emotion is "blocked" and they get more rush in getting what they want and do not feel any remorse, so they will go full way to grab what they want in any way.
So trying to counsel them just teaches them to FAKE empathy and con more people more easily. They are kinda ... not treatable unless their brain is altered somehow.
A normal person can be turned into a psychopath by altering their brain. Yup it already exists.

1stWife changed when she "got a gift" and realized her hatred is evil bs. 1stWife has ability to self reflect, emphatize, feel remorse, and fix her errors. She can act in evil ways - like choosing her hate instead of kid's life - but she can backtrack. She instantly showered the gift giver with gratitude in many ways. She is a mixed bag, more good than evil, ignorant, toxic person, not a narcissistic personality disorder type.

Might FL's mom turn into a niceR person too if she gets a gift too and feels more secure that she is not forgotten?... maybe... Bc FL's mom looks like a decent case of narcissistic personality disorder.. she let the kid die without even blinking an eye.

Both moms are dangerous bc they seem "nice" and always find supporters, and blackmail and manipulate their kids to side with their evil deeds "to support their mother", so the kids have to 100% cater to mom's comfort, even if it involves doing something evil. In other words, THE KIDS ARE MOTHER'S WEAPONS. JiNi is smart enough to know that, and her brothers are NOT. So .. 1stWife in her ignorance is very potent as she gets a whole army of ppl doing something bad for her

ML's mom is more evil than good... and WILL cause major trouble if she finds an ally, like 100% evil DoDo.. those two can destroy entire families, businesses, countries lol Luckily ML's dad is very level and just... he picked the wrong wife and is willingly paying for it with his life...

There is 100 more episodes, so clearly it is going to take some time to get there :)
DoDo is a time ticking nuclear bomb going off soon... as usual.... there will be no peace until she is totally removed and deactivated....... and YoungerSon, married chick and her nasty rich powerful husband too... Smaller but formidable time ticking bombs are ML's mother, FL's mother, Anaconda Mai and her rich family. All of these characters are more evil than good, except DoDo, who is 100% evil. DoDo is a proven criminal psychopath. She has NO conscience. DoDo will never ever ever change on her own, and probably not even in jail.

Also, FL's mom might mess up the company on her own. But it is also possible YoungerSon cannot find any other job and goes to work for FL's mom... and then his married chick and her nasty husband mess up the company lol etc FL's mom is gonna wreck chaos any time something "hers" is taken away, e.g. Accupuncturist , or JiNi's bone marrow...

So the drama will put the characters into corners, and maybe into a very deep end.. Like.. FL and her mom end up on the street, FL is unemployed and single bc DoDo destroyed ML father's company and FL's reputation and broke up ML-FL, that YoungerSon got destroyed/sued so 1stWife's family lost everything. And all possibilities of ppl going after each other. Anaconda Mai and her nasty rich family are also a variable here.

The two families will be again pitted against each other and then forced to reconcile and cooperate, and hopefully they will start offering help more willingly, Let us watch and see!!!!!

But as soon as she to to the 2nd company ... she behaved in totally moronic ways - not able to even greet the boss, getting drunk on 1st party, etc etc etc and all her "omg otoke" reactions... aaagh

How this affects women in Korea and otherwise:
no drama is just a drama. Every piece of art, and esp visual arts, carries messages and essentialy brainwashes the audience. Do not be naive. THERE IS NO NEUTRAL ENTERTAINMENT. it is always promoting certain beliefs, lifestyle, way of thinking.

This drama shows a very stupid immature women and essentially OKs that kind of woman. And we all laugh at her. So this drama really undermines what society thinks of women and also shows women how they MAY behave and catch 2 awesome great guys.

The proof is in the pudding - if dramas dont influence real life, WHY would they be censored?

SO THIS DRAMA REMINDS ME OF THAT SITUATION.
Kdramas just started having professionally competent and independent FLs and even gender equality...
and then this super conservative drama takes us back to ... some ancient sexism. Arghh! This drama's plot is almost entirely making fun of stupid actions by a woman. Someone is determined to keep the dinosaur sexism alive and well.

This drama will ruin so many women in Korea bc it popularizes that women are stupid.

Yes indeed sexism is global and has a very specific "look" in different cultures. In Iran it is hijab, in the USA is the Barbie Doll promiscuous look and behavior, push bra and heels and cleavage, and in S Korea it is that "otuke look at the stupid thing I did omg I am in trouble omg I am stupid bang bang on the wall" cringe face look And yeah being "kind" and "taking care of others"

This drams is a sobering testimony that sexism is the same as before. Here it is fed by worshiping "cute guys".

But then you see this drama and it makes me feel like I am walking streets of Seoul and what do I see... this elementary school girl in 20+ year old body as a normal thing and even admired as sociable by her colleagues at work. She is pathetic. I give her 1-2 episodes to grow up fast.

FL like this has a cheesy lousy script and does not act.
MLs often get good script, more complex roles, and they are often pretty good actors BC THEY PRACTICE MORE, they have more and better roles.
In this drama, both MLs are very good actors and have pretty good scripts. But the overall script plays on the STUPIDITY OF FL BC PPL FIND THAT FUNNY. THat is the scary part. Everyone knows to laugh at stupid women.
