A crazy person I ran into lately "on the street" by chance mentioned some book to me called "Book of Enki". That is .. whatever it is??? some sci fi that mentions that some aliens came to Earth to mine gold, so they "enhanced" primates to become humans TO WORK ON EXTRACTING GOLD. That could be a total fantasy or not, that is not the point here, what I am trying to say is:

that setup is exactly what life on Earth is... Men do the work for ***someone else*** and women are a support system that cooks and cleans for the male workers.

The drama is doing a great job and pioneering work by showing the Major being an epsteiner. So dont push the limits too fast - let the audience deal with one stereotype busting at a time LMAO or else it will be too much and they audience will say wtf this drama is off the deep end.

The same shows in Mad Concrete Dreams - mother in low hires chipendales to entertain.

So let us break that stereotype first and show women as equally capable and willing to be epsteiners

After that, let's start smashing the delulu belief that men have more power and are never abused. The fact is, most men are NOT elites but slaves to the elites, and ARE abused. Worker bees men are raised like robot soldiers - do not cry, ndo not have emotion, do not question authority, just do what you are told - and die at the battlefield or the corporate desk. They are ROBBED of emotional, spiritual and creative life, of color in their life as they are sentenced to the gray drab colors and just a few options for dressing and style, they are trained to KILL AND EXPLOIT - the Nature, the women, the competing corporation or people - and in exchange, they get the privilege to dole it over other worker bees as the "top privileged worker bees" . Except that nobody here is a worker bee but more of ... worker slave :) There are only elites and slaves, and some slaves are henchmen, and men are definitely expected to be henchmen...

SO MEN ARE SLAVES TOO, PIONS IN THIS SYSTEM, but they are slaves of higher status than female slaves :) so that is why men are so delulu entitled ...

SO YOU ARE A PIONEER IN TRYING TO BREAK THIS SOCIETAL DELULU ... so ... thread gently, the society is JUST STARTING to break the societal stereotype of women..

But since you are already speaking up, and the female Major is an epsteiner, perhaps it is time to break the stereotype of men being the power lol They are not... they are slaves of higher order than female slaves... that is all...

GENERALLY SPEAKING:
It is totally true that the evil power does not discriminate and misuses both men and women equally. That stands 100000% .

The only difference is that the evil power gave more power to worker bees men :) to run the show for the elites and keep law and order, and a part of their job is abusing and oppressing and exploiting (esp worker bees) women :) So women have been essentially SLAVES for last thousandS of years.
There are very few women in elites and they are either prostitutes like Madonna or not women really, like Germany or England leaders. Many female politicians are lgbt+ like Eleanor Rosavelt, and some current ones I know. The elites require playing like a male.
Only maybe in India bc of spiritual basis and maybe some other places with strong matriarchial roots. like Africa. you have true women acting as leaders. That is soooo rare!!!!!

Since there are more men in positions of power, naturally, there will be more female "prostitutes" official or not. Simple math :) But there are male prostitutes, for gay men, for women elites, AND ALSO,

Did you notice how many men went into the hotel to sacrifice themselves? Only that one. While there was a whole bunch of young women going there to entertain those 2 older dudes...
Also, in hostesing - how many men did you see as professional hostesses?

You are failing to notice that FL too went into that hotel room VOLUNTARILY. Nobody had a gun to her head. She COULD have walked away. Nothing would have happened. She is just female so she is more agonizing about it and it is more convenient for the drama to show her agonizing bc it is more visible and the audience can symphatize
That man seemed to have made up his mind and in a very male way, was proceeding without too much emotion. Also, it is usually easier for a man to bang someone just for the heck of it and not think too much about it. .... Sorry that is my experience.

ALSO, for that scene, ***it was better to have a man*** for 2 purposes: it showed that gender does not matter, that the Major is into guys, and to avoid the plot of FL worrying about another woman trying to outdo her... And, it would have been a lot less convincing that it was another woman without much scrupules... It would have been a distraction AT THIS POINT that Major was into lgbt+
A woman going into that room without thinking is a more rare species - unless she was a hard core prostitute - and IF THERE WAS a nearby woman like that, she would have overtaken FL's acting business already LOL
Sure the man going into the room could have been a new crude woman barging forward - and then the plot would be the 2 women competing for the top acting status, and a shocker that the female Major was into women. But the drama obviously doesnt want to take that route and picked a man.

Ok then.... Spring Fever, Positively Yours, Idol I, (maybe even No Tail to Tell and Undercover Miss Hong - heck maybe even Our Universe? and historical drama To my Beloved Thief) that recently finished,
and ongoing dailies First Man and family weekender Recipe for Love might be to your liking.
They are all high quality, fun and relatively relaxing and the amount of "thriller" is very minimal and obvious.
Maybe even daily Pearl in Red, or Mad Concrete House - as more makjangy thrillers with easier plots.

If you hate plastic surgery, then stay away with anything with Siren's Kiss FL lol and other actors known for being overly plasticized

It is hard to tell ... Queen's house was a total ... soapy trash until like ep 25.... but then ... wow! a great drama.
This one is not as slow as Queen's house and the beginning although not so smart, is ... well... not bad... it shows ordinary ppl doing ordinary things... cannot blame them for not being so smart.

Someone said that this style of "dark" filming and drama is called NOIR. Sounds about right

It looked like he was fully dressed bc he was on his way out, the "pleasure" part of the meeting was over and now they were discussing business as he was leaving, and it was an unpleasant topic. Yeah they did not sit together - bc they were talking about how much he loves his wife and Nana was clearly disliking the topic ..... And, SHE was not fully clothed, she was in her neglige and was scrunched up in a way that indicates physical intimacy and the way she was sitting and how she was undressed, she was moonlighting him. And, she was complaining about how much he loves his wife and talking about him taking her instead of his wife... And there was a used bed in the background. The scene totally looked like "married man and his mistress who is bitching about his wife"

There is definitely SOMETHING going on.
If they are not lovers already, he is on her radar, she is hunting him down, setting up baits and traps, just waiting to bag him, and he is on the cliff's edge and imo is gonna fall in soon. Bc his wife will prove to be a villain to him :) She has to protect herself and her business.

I have never seen a "normal" love triangle where 2 guys really woo one woman. That is non-existent in the USA because there are just not enough straight single guys. So each guy has 10000 women chasing him.

I have seen zillions and zillions of situations where many women chase one guy, AND very often - too often!!!! - chase him while he has a love interest, a girlfriend, or a wife. Like - the hordes of women have no idea of boundaries. Single guys in the USA are having a great time!!!!! being totally spoiled .

To me, this drama is actually a very "normal" love triangle, since FL goes on official dates with ML but strings SML along in the friend zone but flirting with him non stop.

I see that triangle ALL THE TIME with one man and many women.

I seldom see it as one woman stringing two men, but that is possible, I have seen it with women who have a "reputation" or are super good looking or somehow desirable loil
Gosh once we had a woman in our building who had a husband in military, and guys were waiting on her steps ALL THE TIME. Then her hubby came home and she went out with him in his convertible luxury car :) and they moved out asap LOL Guys kept coming looking for her...

Unfortunately, in my situations in the USA, FL would have bagged SML and continued dating ML as more serious. Tinder has 11 million monthly users in the USA!!!!!! It operates now exactly like the 2006 american movie Idiocracy.... That movie is 1000% accurate.... life is like that in the USA... oh yeah plus the drugs... So.. life in the USA is like a combo of Idiocracy, Equilibrium, and They Live movies. Exactly to the dot.

I doubt she gave up BH... she is probably on standby until he kinda forgets the prev scam she tried...
And good point, ppl need to keep watch over SR a lot more, she is left now bc everyone knows she is not JM...

So dont mind JM and the rest. They are just ordinary people and for that matter, not really educated either. Seo Rim will wake up soon, and also JM will probably travel a little and get a degree and get street smart.

I think Tae Suk acts as a insider villain since she is not nice and imo is very prone to accepting bribes... She already accepted the settlement... She is gonna cause trouble later too :)

I like it and I am not a daily drama fan - but the FL here is an excellent actress and the other actors are excellent or quite good, and the plot is reasonable and makes sense, so overall, it is very fun and a high quality drama, the quality of a 50-ep family weekend drama or a shorter drama, just longer. And yeah because it is 120 eps, the beginning seems slover, but episodes are only 30 mins and ... end up on great cliffhangers.
So yeah this is like a family weekend drama but with more thriller feel, about more toxic families where there is murder and crazy fights, and more makjangy - but not too bad.

I learned - anywhere this FL actress is, there is a good drama :) She always comes with other good actors and a reasonable plot. .

overall, if you want to watch a HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTION and you have only 30 mins of time, this is it :)
