Title Pearl in Red
. FYI I searched official "medical" stance on narcissism psychopathy and gaslighting, and wrote a post about it.
https://kisskh.at/profile/InsoectorMegre/feeds/5vy5D0fO

PTH, OJR and YN are serial killers, thieves, gaslighters, overall psychopaths. Idont see a narcissist in this drama
I got interested in this subject bc the intensely narcissistic Crystal in Our Happy Days said EXACTLY what my mother always used to say - the whole skit consisting of many sentences - so I researched and found out that those sentences are classic narcissist sentences

FYI I searched official "medical" stance on narcissism psychopathy and gaslighting, and wrote a post about it. bc f 1stWife, I had to CLARIFY HOW NARCISSISTS/SOCIOPATHS/PSYCHOPATHS ARE DIFFERENT FROM SELF-CENTERED SELFISH TOXIC PPLSo this is the updated link: https://kisskh.at/profile/InsoectorMegre/feeds/5vy5D0fO

- narcissim is a personality disorder and essentially cannot be changed
- selfish/toxic person is someone who is sometimes a good kind person and may change to more of that over time

There is a lot of narcissism in this drama. FL's mom and Anaconda Mai are narcissists well camouflaged as "nice and fun ppl" ... and 1stWife and both sons seem to be self-centered selfish toxic people as sometimes they are nice. But stuck in utter selfishness about her 30 yrs single life

I can see why the Dad left 1stWife. FL's mom is more fun in her toxicity, not bitter like 1stWife. Bc she is a narcissist lmao She always manages to take care of herself.

I got interested in this subject bc the intensely narcissistic Crystal in Our Happy Days , for example when G finds her snooping in his room and examining his secret box - she said EXACTLY what my mother always used to say - the whole skit consisting of many sentences - so I researched and found out that those sentences are classic narcissist pattern

Omg how many times do I have to repeat it? their job is to kill off kdramas. WHY would they support competition????
RIght now they are in and making money off kdramas with the intent to kill them, to dumb the down, to turn them all into Kwood dramas, and to take the Korean industry into their own hands. They DO NOT want korean values or culture in kdramas. They want to westernize it all and make it THEIR dramas.
Dont be a naive fool anymore, start thinking!!!!!! Entertainment is used to promote belief systems and lifestyle which leads to sellng certain products as well as social and governance structures and religions etc. Already kramas are promoting whiskey, not soju, beds instead of sleeping on the floor, bread instead of rice, meat instead of vegetables, catholic churches instead of traditional, etc etc etc The entire Korean local economy, lifestyle, beliefs, etc is all going down the drain. KOREANS ARE PUSHED OUT OF THEIR CULTURE AND ECOMONY AND INDEPENDENCE.
The dumbed subtitles are meant to totally bypass korean values, lifestyle and way of thinking.
This is extremely dangerous and you dont even see it.
The TV is the mass weapon of brainwashing

This drama is a creative thriller based on comedy and supernatural, with a SOPHISTICATED vibe - warm, lovey-dovey, positive, inspiring, wickedly funny and pokey yet very compassionate and endearing.... Very deep under the funny surface... ... The effect is, created by fantastic acting, camera, plot, music, amazing DIALOGUE. Imo ML actor should be a star, he is just a fantastic actor, so expressive, and FL actress is pretty good too.

This drama is a very very very sophisticated creative unique ttwist on "reality". This ddramais a TOP NOTCH REAL KDRAMA. THIS IS WHY I WATCH KDRAMAS. AND I WANT MORE DRAMAS TO BE LIKE THIS ONE.

This is NOT a "video game" Kwood drama like Agent Kim or Weak Hero with poker faced actors who actually do not act or talk much if at all... ... The plot is overly simplistic and PRIMITIVE "they beat us without a word, we beat them back without a word." Those dramas cater to and INDUCE lack of creativity, imagination, warmth and/or sense of humor.... Audience addicted to such stuff might feel bored here .... and... if they feel entitled, they are gonna start mental nitpicking "plot holes" and such.. But have they complained about "reality" and "plot holes" in those other dramas? - fights where nobody gets hurt or ends in hospital.. ? Or the "real thrillers" where ppl do "amazing" things that just do not seem real?

Those Kwood dramas and movies cater to the lowest audience, as it is simple to understand - they beat us, we beat them, that's the plot. Rare are bad comments about those silly primitive dramas. I understand they rake in huge amounts of money, but that is the problem, showing where the world is. At the simplest most primitive level - they beat us, we beat them, nobody talks, nobody feels, nobody is together in meaningful productive ways. We should be complaining about THOSE dramas, not thinking they are "fun". THEY ARE BRUTAL. THEY ARE LIKE GLADIATOR GAMES IN OLD ROME.

IN SUMMARY: unfortunately, this mindless Kwood type of audience causes more poker-faced "video games" dramas. Lovely real kdramas like this one are becoming more and more rare.

THIS IS A REAL KDRAMA. So we need to protect such pieces of art so that they exist. There should season 2 of this kind of drama.

The problem to giving everyone the right to speak freely their opinion means that the lovers of the gladiator rings also get to speak - and since there are so many of them, there is so much to cater to them and to CREATE MORE OF THEM, so ... unless we are vigilant... the entertainment industry becomes all about gladiator rings and other shocking meaningless crude stuff.

The root problem here is GLOBAL LACK AND PROMOTED EXTINCTION OF BRAIN AND HEART CELLS as gladiator ring fights are promoted with huge advertising budgets and zillion movies and dramas

IF YOU DO NOT SUPPORT REAL KDRAMAS, THEY WILL BECOME EXTINCT SOONER THAN YOU THINK
THIS IS A REAL KDRAMA
to see what a real kdrama looks like, you should watch older ones. Many new ones follow the money and are run-of-the-mill fast mass productions to appease lowest levels of audience and rake in most money. So when you see something truly intelligent and funny like this kdrama, then you PROMOTE IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN. SO THAT WE CAN GET MORE OF KDRAMAS LIKE THIS

This is a reply to all posts that nitpick about "plot holes" e.g. the hospital scene revival and/or ML not wearing a white shirt.... and that the drama is losing its focus and ending in a ditch, as usual for kdramas... Well ... those statements speak for those who wrote them.

WOW!!! DO YOU REALLY WASTE TIME ON MENTAL NITPICKING LIKE THAT AND TOTALLY MISS THE POINT? This is a comedy supernatural thriller. And the plot is perfect. There is still the initial case to solve, involving the chaebol family. This is a GREAT SCRIPT that comes back full circle.

Also, all those sticklers for detail are complaining while proving their own blindness to detail - they totally missed the detail - THE CLOTHES ARE CORRECT. As another user wrote below: Before he got to ambulance... "He was wearing white T shirt, black shirt and a jacket total of three White one was removed as it was cut before being shocked". SO IT IS CORRECT THAT HE IS WEARING BLACK SHIRT

SO ALL THOSE STICKLERS FOR "TRUE" STORIES ARE NOT EVEN ABLE TO FOLLOW THE "TRUE" DETAILS...

As for plot holes, turning it into chaebol story etc - imo the storyline is perfect. FL is still continuously seeing ghosts and solving their cases, and now we are about to solve the chaebol family case - which involves the initial ghost, the friend case that FL did not attempt to solve yet.

FL's dead friend is the brother of SML, and SML is a cruel shady person that is doing something shady with FL's family Ppl say the dead friend has something to do with ML. So let's see.

They are backing up Hwood and such, not some Asian country dominance
Plus, entertainment is used for global brainwashing and Hwood has been doing a great job there, by design
There is a great youtube video on How Netflix destroys kdramas

THISS. I totally lost interest after that ridiculous hospital revival. And after that stayed for a while hoping…
OK no problem. This drama is creative, humorous, warm and positive, and you are not that kind of person. But there are plenty of dramas and movies to please you. Hwood has amazing special effects in horror so you will be happy there

wow we have a new sentence to add to the narcissist toolkit:
"so my 30 years of suffering is less important than saving the life of your child???"

Wow 1st wife and YoungerSon are such hateful bitter morons. At this point, I give up on on both of them. This is EVIL
Also, OlderSon and AnacondaMail do not feel sorry at all. They just want to get.
FL;s mom is similar

So really the OST song "Broken" lyrics do refer to this family..,, and FL's mom.
https://lyricstranslate.com/en/family-register-ost-broken-english Below is a part of it

In the end, what runs thicker than blood is hatred
An elegant tragedy born out of silence
In the chilling space where the masks are stripped away
Nothing remains but sharp, piercing shards

Even the memory of what we used to call love
Turns into a blade that cuts me deep

REFRAIN: We all fall, in the name of blood
Stains left behind on a torn piece of paper
That very lie we used to call love
A monster reflected in the shattered mirror
The proof of this toxic, suffocating bond

Crossing the line of no return
Our paradise has burned entirely to gray ashes
Who is the real perpetrator here?
In the end, everyone is just a sinner trapped in this deep abyss

You're the most sane person commenting here. Also I'd like to point that the Cha family still after all this didn't…
That is why dramas have toxic characters, bc they match the toxicity of the audience. You would be surprised at what ppl think.. bc they are the same/similar to toxic character and/or have a bias for that toxicity

In Pearl in Red there is a pretty young woman who is a serial killer, and I see posts that she cannot be evil bc she is pretty ... Yeah. Someone really thinks that
