I watched ep 1 and now I know why this is boring to you All actors (except 2 moms, 1 grandma) are very young and inexperienced so acting is not superb here.

If you like a pleasant drama with fantastic acting, meaningful script, etc then current daily Our Happy Days might be to your liking. Family Register is spicier and more intense. Both are very decent dramas

MDL description is TOTALLY OFF. First, it was FL who disappeared, not ML. Second.. is she an owner of that side dish shop?? ML seems to already be in Seoul for a while...
I do ship GY with AccentAdjushi, he is so warm and loyal, he will heal her abandonment pain and bitterness and cynicism.

FL irritates me, the script made her very insecure and weak, plus lack of great acting skills, makes it boring to watch . She is not a disaster though like most FLs...
I liked watching ML actor as a school kid, he was so expressive. Now as a Chef he is to serious and .. fake... and .. boring.
His tall friend is a really fun character. That actor is a great comedian and also hits deep notes

The drama is ok but is too bland, lacking SPICE, something that gels it and makes it deep. I think it is total lack of very experienced actors. This drama is all young ppl, 2 moms, 1 grandma, and 1 kid. No elderly. No experienced actors.

Well you are not doing justice to Country Bumpkin Adjushi... Wearing slippers and having an accent does NOT make someone "lesser". FYI he is a great catch!!!!

He is handsome and has a nice strong body too and looks energetic and expressive even passionate, and most importantly, he is a very good, honest, kind, stable, hardworking, generous, dedicated person. He will doggedly stay by her side no matter what. He is a genuine warm healthy person. HE IS CAPABLE OF LOVING HER TRULY, FOR LIFE. She will not have to worry he will abandon her.

So I feel she needs him badly, bc only with his influence will she lose her selfishness. He can love her. She is just super immature and hurt and that's bad for her. His warmth and dedication will finally defrost all he bitterness

I am sorry to hear that. If you really dislike it, perhaps move to your next drama of interest. When I feel in a bind to find a current drama I like., I go to my huge list of oldies that I have never seen and want to watch.

Life in general is always the same - the battle of good and evil, ppl falling in and out of love, people falling into and getting out of conflicts. So what makes each story unique is the characters themselves. And, all "ordinary" ppl are toxic :) in one way or another, more or less :) That is a good starting point :)

What is going to HAPPEN in those 50 eps is many character growths and community growths, and we get to watch the process

50 ep drama has time and space to show LOTS of details, the whole process, LOTS of characters, different ages, LOTS of side stories, and very complex ones, entire networks of families and the PROCESS of growth. It is ** impossible * to show that in less episodes.

So if we are lucky, we get a good drama, but even a bad weekender will have some parts that are memorable and deep.

These days, some dailies are like weekend dramas just in shorter episodes.
If you want to see some interesting plots, Family Register, and a very well done pleasant one is Our Happy Days

There was 1% of that and in a very shallow way, and 99% of just fighting. I watched Weak hero 1 and 2 and I think they are total trash. Ah the only thing of value was seeing that fight harm ppl and Twinkling Watermellon ML ended up in a coma.

One High School Heroes has a tiny bit more content, we get to see the family with 2 sons and how they interact, and it is quite deep. But still - 90% of the drama is fighting and ML likes to fight... that is a super bad message. That ML is going to join the League of Foreigners or something like that one day... That kid was not portrayed as a human being

Study Group is like a live cartoon, it tries to be funny, it has some girl characters, and in brief passing mentions family problems, and school problems, but really it is 98% just fights, it is quite a stupid fluffy thing.

HSROG actually has plot, dialogue, meaning, messages, acting, etc it has quality

"Wife" fell for ML and knows it... ML fell for her too but doesnt admit it... Bc he doesnt want to give up his criminal life. By ep 8 he is still a full blown criminal
So if he manages to take down the Great Crazy Villain, he and his crew might overcome their criminal ways and live a normal life...

First of all, ML's wife is not a devil. She is a good girl and unfortunately mommy and daddy girl who wentt off the deep end and has done some bad stuff. ADMIT IT.

The rest of them - admit it - are criminals. Period. Ah yeah, and quite slow police... The detective is not a bad guy.

Bc one of the rare faults of kdramas is sexism, FL is not a super strong or mature person and requires saving and someone to talk sense into her - and so ML is like her guardian. Kdramas are a lot better than they used to be, but are not perfect yet :)
ML's wife is a good climber, she got herself out of kidnapping, she survived it, etc

YOU ARE BLINDLY HATING ML.... He was a hero and saved his wife, with a lot of effort and sacrifice bc at first he was like a fish out of water, he had no idea about criminals etc. The drama is really mostly about him and yeah that is the sexism of the entertainment industry and ALSO sexism of the audience, as watchers want to see a cute guy rather than a woman... And also ML actor is very skilled and has the capacity to carry the drama. He is more skilled than the actress who is his wife, but that actress is quite good.

So we get to see his good and bad in detail. His good is that he is genius surgeon - in the hospital :) Outside of the hospital, he is a clutz without any common sense, and it is good he is intelligent and learned fast after making so many mistakes.
As a person, he has integrity and tact. On the bad side, he is quite robotic and remote and seems to be floating up in the air in the outer space, barely mincing a few words in whisper. Almost like an autistic person. He has trouble communicating with other people, esp if they are aggressive to him, and expressing his feelings. He often doesnt even know what he feels...

So ... this is good and bad with more objective eyes.
Try that new way of thinking. To see things are they are.

t is very difficult to talk with someone who lack heart and who intentionally lies.
"we clearly see that his job was to save the chairman" is a false statement, as that chairman has a simple routine operation, his life was not in danger, and ML was going to get to him in 1 hour anyways and "save him.
and the statement that A RICH PERSON'S CONVENIENCE MATTERS MORE THAN A POOR PERSON LOSING HIS LEGS PERMANENTLY makes me put you into the evil side of things, so I really cannot communicate with you.
