FL could act in 18 again actually. I've been repeat watching that drama many times and her acting was really good
Yes that is the consensus. She was great back then as a supporting character. Based on what people said, then she did plastic surgery and weight loss to start getting lead roles, and she got them, but she cannot act anymore. Crushology and Witch were terrible acting, and this one is mediocre at best. PS and botox make the face stiff, you cannot move your muscles, in the worst case like Siren's Kiss actress you can just move your eyes, and weight loss causes lack of energy
This drama could have been saved if what was ep 9 was actually ep 5.... if FL rejected SML by ep 5 and confessed to ML by ep 6 ... and then SML can be kept on the screen by trying stuff to come back or to split them .. But ... it would require an intelligent script writer to do this. Not AI lol
As for trash scripts, like Our Universe or Dynamite Kiss, I realized that it is NOT the scriptwriter to blame, it is whoever approves the script. The scriptwriter can write any kind of trash or not, but someone has to approve it and PAY MONEY FOR IT. And the director and camera can potentially ruin a good script too, by requiring actors to interpret the script in trashy ways...

He was going to marry her but ... my feeling was he was going to just leave her be and be married just for the sake of appearances... and I was thinking he was thinking he will NEVER marry her, bc they would take the Hanmin before the wedding... Romance is any emotional CONNECTION and resulting expression in thoughts, words, and behaviors... and this drama has PLENTY of that, it is soaked in it... All scenes with FL. Lee, Albert, CEO Shin, now Nora too, are soaked in romance :) Take a look at their eyes, body language, even their words...
Time to grow up and start deepening your ideas of love and romance :) your life will get richer :) you can have a steamy romance while having one cup of tea :) where you take it next are all different expressions of romance

LOL you are missing stuff .... Her disgust is just ONE part of her feelings.... she is really mad at him for being a criminal... BUT she still loves him... Go back to scenes when he visited at the dorm and she rushed to help him, or scenes with her and Albert at his desk and she longingly looking - which Albert noticed... There are MANY scenes where she longingly reminiscens about him... She still loves him but is mad and will not take him back And he still loves her but is not willing to stop being a criminal so he wont go back to her

you need to WATCH more carefully, dont do anything else while watching, in a good drama like this, every scene counts
Also, 16 ep dramas are so good bc they allow enough time for the story to organically unfold without skipping details, they allow the character growth and change to happen, for relationships to develop and/or change, .... And you can have MANY characters
12 ep drama has to be simple bc the story has to wrap up real fast. So.... just a few characters, a simplified story, ....
For this drama, the scriptwriter deserves praise for a great script. The director,camera and production deserve praise for making it happen and pulling out all the juice out of the script and acting, and the actors deserve praise for interpreting it in a way that makes it even more engaging, fun, and watchable. And the music too... Undercover Miss Hong consists of non-stop engaging scenes that have tons of comedy and numerous details that make the scene very rich.
