Well some dramas should end like that, like Our Universe, ML and FL should not end together, the drama is forcing them and it is soooo cheesy and fake... Probably FL-SML should have eloped and left Woo Ju to his uncle.
Undercover Miss Hong also doesnt require Miss Hong to walk away with a guy..... although it WOULD be more fun :) but it would happen only at the very very end

It's gonna take a while bc he is not teasing her hormones like the other guy did... So.... the not-predicable is - how will that solemn guy wake up his hormones to match her, since she is in the ON mode now and she forgot that she already decided she loves him - so she does not even see him as a man. The unruly impulsive kid is teasing her. The serious guy should start teasing her too so that she sees his value :)

I love the Dog Walker ML.... It is the same actor from Glory and Queen of Tears, but he is a totally totally nice wonderful guy here and he acts i sooooo well, I recognized him only in ep 2 LOL after I saw the comments LOL He is so good acting as a nice guy!

THAT ACTOR IS A MASTER ACTOR, he is acting his role so well, he is so charming and kind and honest, I looooove his character!!!!! That actor is like a chameleon, he can act anything!!!! Wow skillZ!!!! Now I am his fan!!! this is really masterful acting!!!!

I also love the appearance of Idol I FL as his ex. He always seem to act the same, rather poker faced cold, but at least she is good at that and looks pretty LOL

and I love SML actor too, he is a really good actor too. I wonder if he is a model or something he IS really thin... his forearms would not seduce anyone, and from the side, he looks like he has no width. Luckily, he has very expressive face and acts with his whole body, luckily he is a really good actor.

Ok I finished ep 1. This is my feedback.
FL shows different sides of her with diffferent men.
WHILE FL was chasing that young lawyer, I thought she was a total clueless teenager moron. the classical kdrama dumb FL. I was furious. Yeah thinking he will love her after 10 yrs, not reading the room, doing irrational stupid things, ... classic sexism of kdrama FLs. Aggh. I was just about to drop this drama..

Then the introverted but kind and honest Dog Walker showed up - I like him a lot!!! that guy is a gem!!!! and he is right - he is not into sleeping around, so he asked to make sure she isnt either and she will not be expecting that from him and they are both on the same page...
Anyways while FL was withi him, she was so natural and so wise and considerate - he fits her. She already decided they are a match. It took her 5 seconds she said and she KNEW. They are a perfect pair. Bc she is outgoing compared to him, so their relationship is very smooth. He came out immediately. They both feel comfortable around each other.

FL is still dumb and clueless and written as a chaste teenager if she does not understand why so many ppl have these casual dates just to mate. She is too ... DUMB to not know that. I agree that she is written as a mentally ill chaste teenager, woman child.

She is too dumb and clueless to not think where SHE wants to go with a man - does she ever want to get married... ? Is she open to just mating? So yeah that part of FL is really ... ugly. I think Koreans are very good at taking the sexual side of life as a normal part of adult life and also in treating the ENTIRE human being, not just their hormones, like the western media does... So we see informed choices and organic propagation of events based on a deeper connection. That makes sense to me.

So... I am very happy not to be forced to watch the porn of ppl's private moments... I dislike voyeurism under the pretense of "drama worthy of adults".... I think Koreans are quite successful in portraying those moments with taste and showing two people walk into a room etc with a clear indication of why ...... and there is no need to follow them!!!!!!! I trust they know what to do... .
and yeah there are kdramas with super artificially chaste people and that can go overboard sometimes. The unrealistic parts are these men who stay single not dating for like 10 years, waiting for their woman.... I wonder... where are they going for a quick fix in the interim... ?

FYI ppl who started defending the show and ppl who said SML had no faults or that there is nothing wrong with ep 9,10 made me put in effort and redo my review and LOWER the rating significantly. It took me some thinking to do that because

I really do not want to hurt ML actor and Woo Ju actor with a bad review. I think they did a stellar job. The drama is totally theirs.
There is no way to rate them separately so I hesistated to give the overall rating for the drama. BUT I DID IT.

Side characters are pretty good, SML is a mediocre actor - nothing personal - and FL cannot act - nothing personal, I am gonna skip anything with that actress in the future. Sorry but life is short. No time to watch bs.

And the script is trash and whoever asked for it and/or approved it is a TOTAL MORON. The script writer does not give a hoot - they can write the ugliest trash - and if someone buys it - they make a living by writing trash!!!! it is totally legitimate!!!!!

The drama started so well and then became FL-centered, and she led SML on, she started chasing him first, so we got to see FL and SML flirt and go on dates, and ML and baby barely on the screen, ML as a supporting ROOMMATE / HOUSEMAID character, and Woo Ju a decorative item to bait the audience to watch.

Overall, this drama is a CHEAT, it is a disgusting false advertisement. We did NOT come here to watch office romance between FL and SML.
We did NOT come to watch 12 ep of lovey dovey young family with a cute baby either,
We came to watch how 2 strangers came together to overcone their character flaws and traumatic past and provide a home for a baby and a family for all of them.

SML as the ffirst love, criminal dad, all their character flaws, HAVE TO BE ADDRESSED as it is necessary to clean up the past before they can continue into a new future, BUT THE PACING has to be such that it all fits into 12 episodes. Which is not easy but the producer chose 12 ep instead of 16, 20 or 50 eps. So - live with it and squish it all in without diluting the story,

AND THE STORY IS ABOUT ML. FL AND WOO JU. Not about SML.

It was by sheer luck that her need for a good housekeeper made her stop SML - her housemaid / babysitter was suddenly leaving and she needed to take care of that business. Suddenly, she realized that a good housemaid is more important than flirting in the office. She REALLY realized how nice it is to find a clean house and a fed, bathed and asleep baby when she gets home from dates with her first love. So she begged ML to stay and keep her life comfortable, and he consented.
THIS IS THE SYNOPSIS OF THIS DRAMA.

THIS IS FL-CENTERED DRAMA, SO WE GET TO SEE FL-SML ON THE SCREEN A LOT BC FL IS DATING HIM. ML is a secondary character as a roommate who does free housework and babysitting while FL goes on dates.

and she intentionally dragged both guys on the leash.... having a great office romance where she got to be promoted based on her romance, and at home she had a free housemaid / babysitter for free. She was going on dates and coming home to a clean house, fed bathed and asleep kid. WONDERFUL.
She had no connection with Woo Ju, stuffed him into day care without any preparation or talk, left him with babysitters at the last minute, did not show up to pick him up and caused terrible problems for the babysitter (ML at the interview), kept forgetting her phone and was unreachable as a baby guardian. FL WAS PLAYING AND HAVING A GREAT TIME, GETTING A FREE RIDE AND WORK AND HOME. She was Woo Ju's guardian only on paper.

AND SHE NEVER CALLED HIS UNCLE TO SEE HIS FIRST SHOW.

AS USUAL, FL DID ***NOT*** THINK ONE BIT ABOUT WOO JU
FL by script is a very weak parasite, the drama is her love story regardless of how anyone else feels, she drags two guys and essentially tortures them to make her life comfortable, and she gives no thought to Woo Ju. SHE IS SUPER IMMATURE AND WEAK AND SLIMEY. And this actress was perfect for that role bc she cannot act, so she was just scooting along passively.
There is absolutely nothing alive, attractive, or complex about this character.

The drama was not supposed to be about ML FL living in domestic bliss for 12 eps!!!! The script had to show two adults ML and FL with heavy past overcome their issues and come together in rasing a kid and being functional adults and a romantic pair - overcoming their character flaws and pasts - overcoming parastitic life, lingering first love, abandonment issues, criminal family, etc etc etc - that was all supposed to be a part of the plot but sped up to fit into 12 episodes.

FL had to overcome her parasitic jobless life, and her first love - that should have been taken care of by ep 6 the latest... they BOTH should have confessed by ep 6 - say 1 ep for her to grow up and make up her mind!!!! - and then dealt with their other skeletons in the closet - his dad - say, 2 episodes; her weakness - say 2 eps; his love for photography, his brother - say 1 ep; then their quarreling about how to raise the kid, and overcoming their own darknesses and learnign to solve problems together etc - like how about her always leaving the phone, or he bailing out, or dumping Woo Ju into kindergarden, ... Woo Ju is shown as a perfect angel but we all know... that is not how life is ..... then them getting together - sharing the house as a couple - bills, obligations, communications, .... their non-existent sex life - we never get to see them behave as a real couple with romantic feelings - they are always JUST ROOMMATES!!!!! so all that muck - 4 ep - and about 1 ep of them talking about what it is that makes up the family and talking about themselvelves.... and there you go, mix all that throughout the 12 episodes, that's the drama!!!!

Meanwhile SML should have had SFL and they would take some time and maybe babysit, and there should be at least 1 ep worth of playing with the kid. Seems like this drama will take 1 ep to show how SML did not give up and how to get rid of them. Ok that's legit too, SML could have stayed pushing till the very end, BUT FL HAD TO HAVE SAID NO TO HIM BY EP 6 or so..... and his efforts to woo her should have been SECONDARY to the main plot ....

Heck, cut out SML somehow, SML is SML for a good reason - HE APPEARS LESS ON THE SCREEN THAN ML. HELLO!!!!!! otherwise, call him the ML and denote ML to the supporting role.
SML and FL love story had most of screen time, and ML was just a supporting character to babysit while they went on dates, and that is a total and complete DISASTER, for the story and also for acting, ML and Woo Ju are the best actors here and most of us came to watch THEM, not fl-sml flirting.

FL actress has NO energy nor skills to be a lead. Seems like she thought she could do some plastic surgery and lose some weight to land lead roles, and seems like that plan certainly did not work as anticipated, bc her lead roles are utmost flops. This role is about 85% flop, and Crushology and Witch are 100% flop.

What I learned for the future - to always skip anything with this director, writer and/or FL actress. Their work has the signature FLOP.
