Yes :) bc of how it is filmed - really choppy fast - the scenes were jumping all over the place!!!! that was supposed to be "action" and "intriguing" but it just made me confused and startled... I will give you an example - thre was a scene of some old man with a beard with ... what was it? coffee pot? or someting, some big object - AND IT JUST FLASHED AWAY!!! like in 1 second! I was like wooow... whoooa! what just happened??? And that kind of stuff kept happening.... so frustrating. I felt like I was inside some video game or advertisement....

and acting - I saw FL in Nice Guy where she was in outer space spaced out and I could not bear to see that again.... !!!!! When I saw her all zombied out, that was enough.
I could tell quickly that it is not going to work for me.

Sometimes I can tell immediately :) when filming and general 'vibe" are obvobviously off, Like with .. Genie, Confidence Queen, which are like Las Vegas neon signs, keep flashing bombastically, no plot just hype.... etc and sometimes I have to watch to find out it leads nowhere :) like with Wedding Impossible or Graceful Liar or Eagle Brothers , then I drop

Sometimes I watch something REALLY OBVJOUSLY BAD bc I am curious - like The Twelve - everyone was so hyped up about it so I wanted to check it out - and it was total flop - but commenters made jokes so it was fun to read LOL - and I was rewarded by the mos thillarious memes and comments after the last episode - about hair extensions of the Ogwi (ML from Burried Hearts) etc it was LMAO like you wouldnt believe it

Sometimes a drama feels very bad but something tells me to keep watching and am rewarded witih a gem, e.g. Spring Fever - I was so put off by the red neck vibe and humor, but then it turned out to be one of the most profound deep healing dramas ever - it talks about ORDINARY people. No sleek city life and pretty chaebols etc.

Perhaps I misinterpreted some and those people will reply with that clarification.

It is not an adaptation, that is what I am trying to tell you. It is just INSPIRATION. Dramas go on their own tangent. By nature, webtoons and dramas are totally different so you can never fully adapt. So let us give up expectation that drama matches the webtoon. Then you mght as well enjoy a new drama

remember her as a nasty mother in law in Iron Family? the police chief? She was so good there too. But I like this one better lol

I really enjoyed this drama. It was a cozy warm "proper relationship" lesson... Lead pair was so cute! such a great team, a great couple, great communication and teamwork and that cozy feeling of two lovebirds nesting.
SFL story was kinda rosey glossed over, but it made sense that she "woke up" out of her madness and turned a new chapter, and it makes sense that her motherhood initiated the wakeup

For all ppl insisting on skinship - one of my favorite scenes is when the parents are starting to get at it and the baby cries and then she says - "LET US PUT BABY TO SLEEP AND THEN WE WILL FINISH WHAT WE STARTED - you feed the baby and I will change diapers" - and then both of them super hurry up to finish their chores. That sense of teamwork, urgency and passion in their rush.... was precious. It was a comedic, deep moment

I learned several things...
Webtoon readers need to give up their expectations that a drama will follow a webtoon.. Drama just gets some ideas from webtoon...
I am shocked how so many ppl said they hate seeing a baby in drama. Why? Everyone needs to become less self centered and accept that babies and families and elderly are a NORMAL EVERYDAY THING and so babies elderly and families are totally fine in a drama, even if it is about s.x life of single young adults, they too come from some family and were a baby once upon a time and probably SHOULD have baby and old cousins and neighbors.. ....
So babies and elderly should be seen as a "background" or "side characters" in all dramas just like everyone else is - bc they too SHOULD be a part of our daily life, if only in passing. How come they are not? Why do we pretend they do not exhist? Do they have a plague or something?

If you live a life where you never see a baby or an old person, what kind of unnatural ghetto jail is that.... ? Like..... a permanent "college campus" environment... ?

To clarify: I am NOT arguing for having baby dramas. I am just saying, we should be seeing babies and elderly as a part of our daily life and they should "whiz by" in dramas too, they should be some back or side characters. That is hard on finding actors like that, so ... use dolls and makeup LOL put a doll into a stroller or into a back carrier and walk with it by a scene.... put an actor all stopped over to walk by a scene.... sometimes :) Make it NORMAL to see them every day, not something that is so special that we have to have special dramas about them...

Bc it still feels like she is babysitting him, helping him, guiding him. Until he becomes her pillar of support and standing up for justice, he won't seem like a man to her. She is not interested in just using a young stud boy toy. She was flattered by his attention but that's it.... Her man would have to have a lot more substance and be a real warrior like her... Albert has potential but he is not there yet, he is still an airhead baby to her... . So... Whatever happens is ok :) I am curious if that lunch with her Boss will change Shin.... bc she loves him still... but ... Shin is too .... heavy LOL Airhead vs heavy .... Nobody so far is right for Miss Hong yet.

Yes sure, Albert is a man.... a young man :) There is a differene in experince :) i understand you like him, but try to be objective. Let us profile him.

Ep 12 around 1 hr 2 mins, Bok Hui and FL have a talk about Albert and BH says Albert is smitten but it is too shameful bc he is younger, and FL just brushes it off - as something irrelevant as it is not happening INSIDE HER and as a nuisance accusation. Notice she also dismisses Nora as "Ms. Kang" - is it bc she thinks Nora is not in the way of her and Albert, OR bc she cannot stand Nora and Mr Shin engagement... ?

In any case, FL has no official plans with Albert at the moment, although it is clear he is crushing on her. She still treats him as a youngter. Their personal talk around min 50 ep 12 is the key to understand their relationship. She is sharing something personal to teach him something personal. So .... that can go in the way of romance, OR in the way of her being an older mentor and coaching him to do better at their task.

Age difference is not wha matters..... BC YOU NEVER KNOW HOW OLD PPL REALLY ARE lol bc some ppl look young, some older, etc. They key is that some ppl FEEL as if they were older bc they are wise for their age and some ppl are 70 yr old kids...

What matters is the life experience and maturity and general lifestyle, and most importantly, ***the same spiritual belief system***. THAT is THE key. That is why Shin dropped out with FL, bc his belief system is selfishness and FL despises that.
And yeah. physical ability matters LOL it can be the determining factor in some cases LOL ;)

Albert lacks business and life experience, the GRIEF experience, the past, wins and loses, that FL has as having lived 10 yrs more and without the protection that Albert had. Albert grew up with a silver spoon and he does not know hardships of life.

AROUND MIN 50 of EP 12 is when FL and Albert talk about grief in their lives. Albert for the first time experiences betrayal - by his own father - and FL shares her experience with Shin adn what she learned from it. She teaches him how to look at it.

Albert knows some grief, bc he lost his mother, his father is a criminal, and he lives surrounded by evil nasty criminals and had to hide and lie to survive, litrally to save his life, LITERALLY.

But he still doesnt know how PRIVILEGED he is. Just like Nora noticed how she is treated differently as Director vs just an officer. Albert never had to make a living for real, make money, worry about his expenses, live with red tape, money scarcity, getting a job, being afraid of being fired, kissing ass of his bosses, etc.

Albert lived a privileged sheltered life. THAT makes him young :)
Albert lived under constant thread of being murdered - THAT makes him very wise and old :)

Albert made Yuido pirates not to do great things but bc he was bored .... that is a very very very young thing....
and to his credit, he wanted to do something useful and he picked that. Good! He does not know much about business yet ... and luckily FL is training him to become the President. Good. So he is growing up.

As a man - we dont know Albert's dating history. We can tell he is sensitive to his woman, knows how to charm and he knows how to be a gentleman and how to pursue, and WHEN to step forth and when to hold back. That is all manly. Romantically, Albert is very talented and skilled and mature. Albert is not afraid to come close, so we can tell he is emotionally healthy; we also saw that he is committed. I conclude, he could be a decent partner IF he knows how to handle disagreement. So far, we never saw him quarreling with FL and having a disagreement, in open. We know how he is handling knowing that she likes Shin - he pretends not to see it and he just outdoes the competition. Again. that is a great man as a man. The last thing I want to see to give him a "manly man" label is: HOW DOES HE HANDLE OPEN DISAGREEMENT? if he is capable of talking it through and listening, then yeah he is great.

Right now we are not discussing if Albert is for FL or not.. We are talking in general. Those two do NOT HAVE TO BE a pair :)

But Albert can be a good pair to someone. If he is consistently committed, considerate, and talks things trough as a good teammate, then Albert is a mature manly man :) a great romanticn partner.

Albert was a man when he invited FL on a date. He likes her and he acted on that esp knowing Shin is after her :) That is what only a man who is interested will do. Notice that Mr. Lee never invited her anywhere... I guess also bc he knows that Albert likes her and he doe snot want to interfere...

**** It is to Shin that Albert said that there was nothing between him and FL but he wished there was something inappropriate :) He never said it to FL directly ***** It would have been really ranchy to say it to her as her boss taking her on a date thinking she is 20 yrs old..... . So he kept himself under the radar, which was also super appropriate and manly - he was her boss and he was taking it super slow. polite and as a gentleman.

But in that chair, he went totally openly ranchy LOL he was saying straight to her face looking her in the eye, in public - supposedly jokingly - that he doesnt do that kind of s.x, which was a direct poke and hook to FL bc he was implying that he interpreted her chaining him to the char as she initiating s.x with him - so that is a message THIS IS WHAT I THINK OF YOU WHEN YOU COME CLOSER - notice he wasnt afraid, etc, he took it as a "let's start s.x" - and he was offering his take on how he wants to proceed - it was a direct poke to her to notice him and start wondering about what he WOULD like to do together LOL he is a very skilled charmer LOL So that is also what a man does, some self advertising commonon LOL

Notice, he dropped dating her. But he did not give her up.
And he does not care that she is this Big Scary Important Woman. He is not intimidated. He is even coming closer in more admiration. That is also manly, he is not afraid to come close to the one he likes.

So we do NOT know where this goes as he could be just admiring her as someone kind and caring towards him,someone stable who would NOT betray him and who would always treat him well. Miss Hong is a very safe romantic partner. She is loyal, committed, and has integrity. there is ZERO risk with her. So that is her charm to him. She is his mentor in many ways and is making him into an adult mature man right now.
So - will she notice him or not ... let's see :) He is getting to be a relationship material.

SHE CANNOT NOTICE HIM AS LONG AS SHE IS THE ONLY ONE HELPING HIM. She would notice him if he becomes her pillar of support :) Will that ever happen... ? let's see. Will Shin change his mind before that happens... ? let's see

So will it be FL or not..... we are sure Albert can pull off a relationshiop with SOMEONE, and he is healthy and smart enough to pick a good woman as a life partner. THAT in itself is very manly.

So overall, Albert is definitely a grown up man. A younger one, with a great potential. He will dfind someone for sure and be very successful as he keeps growing and learning.

I decided to be generous and to share with you the lesson on intimacy, which I learned from a cheesy Meg Ryan rom com called PICTURE PERFECT. She hires Nick to pretend to be her fiance. And he asks her: HOW MANY SPOONS OF SUGAR DO YOU TAKE IN YOUR COFFEE?" She says wth..? and he says - " if we are that close, I need to know that. " Meg Ryan stares at him for like a minute and in that minute, she Understands what Love is and she falls in love with him. She understand how caring and reliable nice guy he is, and ... she then proceeds to snag him :)

So that is the criteria for intimacy - do you know how many spoons of sugar does your partner take in their coffee or tea or whatever it is they drink, so that you can pour it for them without asking.
That kind of stuff doesnt happen just by physical intimacy. That kind of stuff takes some time and drinking tea or coffee together and talking etc....

So this is my gift to you, so that you dont feel like nothing good comes out of the West. It can :) That scene from that movie changed my life and made me understand better what love is, too.
