Indeed..... I agree with you..... Albert is not a kid anymore... Events pushed him to get off his as@ and act... and he is not acting as a kid :) .... it is revealed more and more how serious ALbert it.
Albert is 10 yrs younger than FL and a kid compared to her life experience, and she treated him as a kid, but what is recently discovered, shows that he was doing things that are extremely serious grown up and that he is currently amping his efforts. That is why I was questioning his present "kid" status. He is going for President..

After his confession about being... you know who :) and his s.x joke at the FL when she tied him, and his flowers to her, accepting hr suggestion for presidency, and his promises to help her, I am thinking ... hm.... there is obvious evidence he was very active and not such a kid this entire time. He is still a kid to FL bc in comparison to her, he is a kid, but ... he is getting more and more serious. One day soon, maybe even FL will not see him as a kid anymore

And yeah you are right, I agree, Shin is a troubled teenager, doing crime... and putting crime before people

Bc she is maturing, right now she is more and more of a woman and a business woman rather than just a dumb kid. She is a great aunty, she is a helper to her coleagues, etc. her outfits are getting to be high heels and screaming red pant suits and fuzzy faux fur coats... She is getting more glam, more smart, more loving....

I wanst thrilled with her in JFH... it was ok but nothing special. She was rather one sided evil with some sexual interests in the cute guy. Well - not a big deal LOL
This drama is a LOT more complex and fun

No Tail to Tell has potential but is not filmed properly so dont have high expectations :) There is humor. There could have been a lot more :)
I remembered rom coms that were truly comical, like My Sweet Mobster (ML is hilarious - dressed like Keano Reeves in Matrix, but with the voice and manner of speech that are ... LOL ),
Sorry but Not Sorry (actor Daniel is so funny and that hilarious actress ... ah what is her name... she is the best friend with kids in that drama),

Hee Su from Class 2 is the best lgbt+ intro I have ever seen for people who are not promiscuous, and it got so much bad comments from lgbt+ ppl bc what they consider "good" dramas tend to be a lot more pornographic and promiscuous and this one was NOT at all, it was a real love story about ordinary young people who just happen to be gay.

Miss Hong is a gold mine for comedy bc it is LOADED with excellent actors and practically every scene has tons of it, it is FILMED In a way that just creates scene after scene that is totally memorable and most are hilariously funny. The plot is not transformational but more action oriented but there are some transformations.

Our Universe is very comedic, ML is totally hilarious, but the FL is not the most energetic type so she dampens it. That drama is super deep and also very cute, the kiddo is portrayed in such adorable and funny and revolutionary way, he has a say :)

I like Positively Yours. I think we are having this discussion bc you said you didnt like it... It is not comedic in the hilarious way. It is more .. polished sophisticated mature adults. The ML-FL pair is so cute! they are just such a great team. THat drama is a revolutionary drama on gender equality. And it uses old tropes to start with, and then morphs them into a different ending :) It is an amazing concept. So maybe you will be able to see its value...

Watch SOME episodes of Recipe for Love LOL Start from ep 1 just in case :) That drama will be one of the classic masterpieces, if it continues like this. Witness the history in the making :)
And It is like Miss Hong, no matter where you jump in, you will find hilarious comedy

This is what happened after they went camping and ML got all wet in the rain:
It is weekend, FL is going out with SML, she says "she has to"... ML says he will take care of Woo Ju, she says she will take care of Woo Ju bc it is weekend and her turn.....
so SML, FL and Woo Ju in his new car seat that SML bought for him go out to eat etc, they are gone for many hours, SML kinda flippantly confesses, etc
Meanwhile, ML is very sick from being wet in the rain and all the stress of SML taking FL to hospital and out on a date with Woo Ju, .... So ML is unconscious with fever... FL keeps calling him and he doesnt answer...
SML asks FL to stay longer... but FL rushes home to help ML ... and when ML wakes up from fever, he seriously confesses

SO FL GOT TWO CONFESSIONS IN ONE DAY

I think that is confusing to Woo Ju bc kids are energetic antennas, they pick up everything, so when his "mom" flirts with this unknown man, and his "dad" is upset, Woo Ju must be feeling something is weird.

FL is not a slut, she is not sleeping around nor collecting money, she is just weak ignorant dull unaware and stringing two guys, and that is all ok as her personal choice to live a slimey life... IF SHE DOES IT ON HER OWN, WITHOUT WOO JU.

But if she goes on these flirt escapades, she must not take Woo Ju with her.

(The full turth is actually worse, bc it is a fact that Woo Ju and ML would know if she went on flirt escapades even if she kept is hidden... and the whole family would be affected. )

But for the sake of argument right now, I will say that woman is not married nor committed so if she strings 2 guys, that is her choice to live a slimey life, but she must not entangle Woo Ju in that and take him with her when she is chasing her flame.
FL kept hitting on SML and it was clear she wanted him to proceed, and her going to that outing was just a part of that. But she really did not want SML. She is already started with ML. So she has to be a strong person and admit that to HERSELF first and then the two men. And Woo Ju goes only with his "dad", the ML.

I totally disagree with what you said, and also there are LOTS of logical holes in what you said. In fact, it sounds very defensive and irrational. And confused. Like, someone is attacking "your" country so you are defending it.... irrationally. This is blind loyalty to some unquestioned belief system.

I wrote another post just about that so I kinda summarized here. I am not sure what that original poster meant by "slutshaming" but it is not appropriate here... She did not sleep around nor collect money... . She is just ignorant, dull, unaware, slimey, stringing both guys and flirting with both, basically using them -actively chasing the CEO and passively encouraging the roomie.

MY MAIN POINT IS THAT SHE DOES DESERVE CRITICISM FOR TAKING THE KID ON HER FLIRT ESCAPADES, BC she is irresponsible and abusive to the kid to present herself flirting with someone else. Kids get confused and anxious and sad when their mommy or daddy flirts with someone else.
If she wants to string multiple guys, she is free to do that, AND she must go out flirting alone. That is what I actually meant and wrote in a separate post.

Why wouldn't Miss Hong be popular in China? Perhaps bc it is a hilarious subtle comedy almost non-stop .... and dips into depth... and China just does not have comedies? Miss Hong is a masterpiece drama in terms of filming and an amazing comical thriller in terms of story. it is a super sophisticated fun story

A good drama never gets you get a handle on it LOL everything is in suspense :) That is why the comments section is so useful, to ask / answer questions and provide opinions and report what we saw. We are like in this "labyrinth" together that we are trying to figure out :)

ps - I love "Ming Young" from 3 Bold siblings here as the FL's Dad. I think he is just great. I think it is fun for an actor to try out different creative expressions. Also, provides more opportunities for roles and making money and fame :) I am fascinated, to see an actor totally metamorphose into a totally different character, like a chameleon. THAT is one great actor! skillZ!!!! Respect!

Nora is supposedly engaged to Shin, goes on dates with him, and is starting to like Shin and now KNOWS that FL is the ex he is still in love with. What will Nora do... ? And what will Shin do? I think he will just take Nora to a few dinners and dump her when he steals the company. But Nora doesnt know that so she might do something to make sure her "fiance" is only hers.. ? or to help FL and Shin get together? Or .... ? Let us see....

Albert seems to have given up dating FL - or not? Albert is a kid - or growing up fast? IT WAS REVEALED HE WAS THE CAPTAIN. So Albert is a big business player...
And romantically... Albert is a kid compared to FL. But he liked her . he knows that FL still likes Shin, so Albert treats Shin as competition...
Albert was making s.x jokes at FL when she tied him to the chair... she didnt take him seriously but the fact is, the kid was trying to indicate that is how he thinks of her.... then accepted to be president bc she said so (and she said so ONLY bc she was so jealous and upset when she heard about Shin-Nora engagement lol). Albert brought her flowers, said he will help her... What will Albert do about FL, is he still romantically interested???

As someone said, Mr. Lee the IT guy never confessed to FL, so for all practical purposes, he is out of the game FOR NOW as a romantic interest :)

The triangling ... The business is priority #1 but there are raging romantic feelings, crushes and interests in the background that are influencing the plot and the character development. The implicated are too busy to actively pursue romance, even Albert gave up on dating Miss Hong, but when this project is over... who knows what will happen.
The team GoodGuys is assembled bc Albert and Mr Lee like Miss Hong romantically :) so how will it end when it ends? Shin is also in love but his criminal activities are #1 to him...... but can that lunch with Miss Hong's Boss change him... ?

So I try to figure that out. Also, I tried to profile Albert bc the discussion is - is he a kid, or a man enough to be a partner for Miss Hong? I say - he is a young man by now :) and growing fast. But he does not have to end up with her. Her role #1 is to be his mentor. Will that change... ? let's see :)
