I kinda dropped this drama to watch KimChi Family 2011 kdrama

And I am thinking of NOT going back to this one. Comments mention lack of communication, and how FL is insecure and hesitant - and THAT kind of loser woman is the signature sexism fault in too many kdramas. And this "a greatly immature flawed woman being chased by a great guy loyal to death" plot is also ... stale delulu bait for toxic female audience.

So before I proceed - i need info from you - HAS THE ML STARTED SMILING YET? I mean, permanently. Not a vague smile once in a blue moon

I checked it out and was chocked by the soapy,/ fluffy/cheesy/cringe/mediocre - I dont even know how to call it? lack of complexity/depth??? plus FL actress is not good at acting, so ... no go for me

this worries me. cdramas are very very seldom as sophisticated as kdramas. I will watch 1 ep of this to decide what this is

I think we have different ideas here and it is impossible to communicate bc you just wont understand bc you just do not have the experience
and I dont have time nor desire to explain why I think this drama is just a sloppy product placement. .
Just dance some hula, Tahitian dance, traditional African dance, or traditional belly dance drills (not the tribal style), do some yoga or taichi, go hiking in nature, be comfortable with or without clothes and shoes, also experience of truly having deep feelings of love for someone,. So I will leave you here with these strange wild thoughts

This drama is like trying to lose weight by taking diet pills instead of exercising and eating better... like trying to be pretty by plastic surgery and makeup instead of being your best radiant healthy happy self.... etc etc etc

I watched The Twelve bc I wanted to know why there was hype about it, and was rewarded with HILARIOUS comments after the last episode, where the die hard fans really let go and let their hair down about their disappointment, the drama was super bad, and they made jokes about ML's fear of losing hair extensions in his ah-so-grand flying scenes etc

Then I watched Our Universe, where the drama started well and then turned bad, and the beautiful encouraging sane observant audience turned into satirical critics and it was a mix of carnage and hilarious comedy

But this comments section ... wow... is soooo... creatively wickedly funny.... all the time... I have been laughing to the point of heavy crying. Wow the comments section is a comedy drama in itself... the comments... the dialogues...... Omg HILARIOUS. So creative. Masterful improv comedy. I feel blessed to have experienced this. The bad drama created a wonderful comedy drama

On a positive note:
I am glad that HJ's utter selfishness came out so there is no more arguments about him and Chloe as a good match. He has shown his true colors and what trash he is. So as a character, he is not interesting anymore bc all his complexity disappeared, all his internal considerations should she choose good or evil are OVER, he has willingly chosen to be 100% EVIL

Now MJ should take over as "the good guy" so the script and acting for MJ should be a LOT sharper

Well how can you expect a little child to have that much maturity???? Dae Chi is like a very nasty spoiled dumb 4 yr old in adult body. He wants his toys NOW.
So ... I think expecting anything from him is a waste of time.

Woe "This is Dedicated to You" is a LOT classier than "Sincerely Yours" but a loss let warm than "Truly Yours"
it is an action rather than just stating how you feel, it is the action that shows and proves your feeling - this is dedicated to you BECAUSE I am sincerely truly yours. It is a very big statement!!!! Very deep!
"Truly yours" means "I dedicated my life to you" but it doesnt show HOW you did it :)
"Sincerely yours" is used in business letters... it doesnt mean in what capacity you are theirs...

This is Dedicated to You implies care on a personal level... do Koreans use this to sign off business letters? It feels more like something you would only on a personal letter

Perhaps "In Divine friendship" line in letters of Paramahansa Yogandanda to his disciples is most similar to this Korean line of "This is Dedicated to You" bc it shows care in action
