I honestly think he was after her, bc of the meeting when she asked to not attend meetings.... and he said she must because he wants her under his control - and then she left the meeting and he said nothing... *** It really looked like he was trying to snag her romantically under the cover of being her boss **** And how did that start.. ? Did he know her from before?
AND seems like he had something going on with his secretary - why was she living in his studio???? they must have been lovers, based on how she was treating him - watching his food, brooding about him not eating, tying his tie while looking him in the eye - and stood there and let her... !, etc .

I dont know about explicit in movies etc bc I havent watched that ... I know that S Korea has had censoring meant to show proper ways of living and high morals.. Kdramas imo often have a healthy relationship to sexuality, it is shown to be there but is shown with tact, sophistication, finesse, and certain compassion for the delicate nature of the situation... Asia and S Korea have hostesses, Japan has legal prostitution, so ... they are no strangers to explicit... but somehow S Korea manages to keep it classy and not get lost in lewd... I had some breaktroughs in my understanding of good storytelling and comedy... bc of ep 3 in Filing for Love, which used paradox, surprise, and also slow development over time and also deep digging into layers and sides of individual characters. So that helped me understand Recipe for Love, which also is masterfully digging through sides and layers.
AND THAT HELPED ME UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ARE CONFUSED HERE ABOUT SH.T CHARACTER SR AT THE MOMENT - how someone so smart can turn into petty whiney villain. The answer is - she was always that :) and now it is brought to the forefront :) to be healed.
First Man drama maintains the forward movement ... and it is well on the right track and pacing is perfect.. BC IT IS VERY LIKE REAL LIFE... problems solved by ****persistent small steps**** Right now we have this situation: zombie crushes SR to JH, JH to JM, Laptog to HY, Proessor to HY, and Professor's Wife to Professor. She is still hoping he will apologize and come back... Oh dream on..... So NOW WE HAVE 40 EPISODES TO DIG INTO THESECHARACTERS AND SITUATIONS AND RESOLVE THEM.
Ppl wonder why is SR so petty and whiney adn selfish at the moment, where her smarts went.. Well ... the smarts are in the background now bc this new situation made the petty and selfish come to the front - to be healed... So now SR"s healing journey BEGAN. So she will either graduate from this or fail the test and SINK.

Going deeper into the characters, showing their different sides... Showing paradoxes - like in currently airing Filing for Love, where a zipped up Cruella turns to have very very unexpected sides :) of Mother Theresa, Joan De Arc, and Marylin Monroe all combined lmao

The lovers of short dramas, miniseries etc are totally not used to this concept of really SHOWING THE PROCESS AND WORKING THE DETAILS.... That became clear to me based on comments in daily FIrst Man, which just started unpeeling more layers..
In a longer drama, we go deeper... there is much more detail... We as audience are given a little time to adjust to a new situation... while the drama characters struggle with the issues, fall and get up, so many times, keep putting in small persistent steps forward...... then the situation MOVES ON FORWARD :) BAAAM!!!! a breaktrough.... !
So JM overcame her addiction to dumb arrogance. SR is gonna have to overcome her addiction to petty greedy selfish ignoramus etc etc etc etc The innately good characters who have gone on for too long and too much into evil are Lapdog... and most likely Professor... The mean characters who have gone on for too long and too much in their already existing evil streaks aare ... HY... she is beyond the point of return most likely bc she is already wired as a psychopath/sociiopath and too far into it... JH and SR are made out of the same material and WOULD be a perfect pair IF they overcome their selfish evil streak. HS was angry that JH loved her less... rememver those scenes when he tries kissing her and she rudely angrily refuses him and scolds him for underperformance and jos obligation to perform bc her dad is paying a lot for it? HS did not seem ready to quietly part with him... She seemed more like a woman angry about her cheating boy toy.. She treated him with such disrespect, like he was a prostitute. That's why I called him GIGOLO. He elbows his way forward by seducing women - HS, then FL, then the assemblyman daughter, .... i wouldnt be surprised if Purple Girl is his ex or tried at him.

That is true and mature, REAL LOVE. So BH transformed from a knight in shining armour to a true lover and life partner.

HS was angry that JH loved her less... rememver those scenes when he tries kissing her and she rudely angrily refuses him and scolds him for underperformance and jos obligation to perform bc her dad is paying a lot for it? HS did not seem ready to quietly part with him... She seemed more like a woman angry about her cheating boy toy.. She treated him with such disrespect, like he was a prostitute. That's why I called him GIGOLO. He elbows his way forward by seducing women - HS, then FL, then the assemblyman daughter, .... i wouldnt be surprised if Purple Girl is his ex or tried at him.
i dont think it would be so easy breaking up with HS as you think... it seems she still wanted him or at least was angry that he was neglecting her or that he went somewhere else FIRST before she dumped him... or that her best friend was in it...
I am honestly not sure about that company, i do not understand the business and why it is so good for him, why he had to bribe to get his own company... ? Perhaps he started with 0, Chairman gave him that "subsidy" and now he is happy with what he has , so he will grab the FL and live quietly?
i can see yeah why he would quit the competition so that he and FL are not in public eye
but I need more business know-how on that "separating company"
BH was originally a very 1-sided Knight in Shining Armour... he unquestionably helped JM when she was a decent person... he overlooked all her faults ... bc he was begging for her love, trying to prove himself and win her over - and he kinda did...
BUT that was not all... we later learned - he was unwilling to sell his soul to the devil for it...
When JM became a bad person, BH stood up to her and made her stop. He did not force, he did not threaten, whine, etc. He refused to have himself compromised and to allow her to ruin her life. HE CLEARLY PRESENTED THE SITUATION, THE CONSEQUENCES AND HER CHOICE, HELPED HER TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT THING, BUT LET HER MAKE THE DECISION and was always honoring her decision, kept living his life well - and kept standing up to her until she snapped out of her delusion, of her ... addiction. That is true and mature, REAL LOVE. So BH transformed from a knight in shining armour to a true lover and life partner.
What I am tryng to say: PROFESSOR HAS A PLACE. All these zombies are tools of the devil, in this case HY. She enters through their cracks and runs them like puppets.
AND WE AS AUDIENCE NEED TO SEE THAT AND DRAW SOME LESSONS :)
And also, all those zombie crush characters will have to grow out of it OR take the consenquenes. So you bet they will be causing trouble while hanging onto their addiction.
And then they will have a choice - just like JM did - and lets see if they take it or not.
