not sure where you live, but those business practices and downsizing are common in many places... e.g. USA ... .... companies downsize and just fire people... So at least this company was fair and got rid of "the dead weight" determined by the competition...

Africa has a very dark past in selling their own. Slavery is common to Africa and tribes always hated, warrred, and enslaved each other.... African slavery was bad but never as monstruous as atlantic slave trade, so Africans did not know what they were doing -at first - but later they MUST have known, when they saw the ships loaded the way they were loaded... So Africa has a heavy heavy bad karma about this...

and ALLOW HER to say that word instead of some other words which are way more sophisticated and indicate someone a lot more familiar and ingrained in English. SR was just a visitor for a few years. Those expressions you suggest are wayyyy too sophisticated for her

Seems like ML is a professional criminal. FL described what ML is doing as a financial fraud and crime - he buys bonds of destroyed companies and then owns them and sells them. So seems like ML is a true criminal and now exploiting IMF crisis with his partner in crime DK.

Bc FL described how ML buys bonds from a falling company so then he grabs the entire company, FL thinks he is a crook.
Someone here who apparently understands finances explained in a post above how that is done - he will financially jeopardize Hanmin, then buy its bond and get control of the company, then sell it and make tons of money.

So I think it is pretty sure at this point that ML is a financial fraudster and criminal.

FL is a "good guy" but she is stealing the slush fund LOL so ... you never know what will come out of this. There is some sliver of hope that ML is not a crook - but that is highly unlikely :)
