To each their own. Vegas had interesting moments but Build was wooden thru the whole thing. Like a very straight guy uncomfortable with a bisexual role. It was painful to watch his one on one scenes. Where as Apo had chemistry with everyone. I think people shipped him with every cast member at one time or another. Except for maybe Ken and Big. Sure he had more screen time but it didn’t matter. The script was shit and he still out acted everyone else. You disagree, I get it. No need to respond.

This show is beautifully shot, cannot deny, but other then Kinn and Porsche, honestly who cares? Everything else is noise. Apo carried the show. Objectively, he is a talented actor and the only bone fide talent in this production, I think this would have been trash without him. Speaking as someone who was an avid fan while it aired but has become exhausted by the over exposure since the finale, this show was groundbreaking and set a bar that won’t easily be surmounted. But is it a whole lot of hype? Absolutely. And the Pete Vegas arch is total garbage. Both in the book and on screen. Seriously, this is a weak ass plot.

If you’re new to MDL allow me to give you a tip: don’t take any negative comments you find here too seriously. People get salty for peculiar reasons. They will shit all over a show because they liked the source material better, because they dislike an actor or a trope or because the anonymity of having an MDL persona has convinced them that their opinion means a goddamn thing. If you like a show, feel free to like it. Feel free to celebrate it. My advice is to learn to recognize trolls and leave them alone. In my experience they go away when they don’t get the attention they crave.
