you should watch moonlight. It's like a tie-up to the story of Love game in eastern fantasy. same actors too. but totally different production. one is Wetv and another is Iqiyi.
Squid Games 2 is really a fun adult series that makes you think and look out for clues and be alert as well. They didn't lost the charm since the first season. I love the addition of the blue O's vs red X's to the tension between the players (the voting system), much better than the break and choice they were given from the previous season by letting them all go home after the first game and coming back. It was hard to watch the first season all in one go because of the mental toll but maybe with the familiarity and the pace of season 2, the much more exciting plethora of characters, I finished all the 7 eps of s2 in one night. The cliffhanger was expected for me, and will watch out for S3, but I have a feeling they can't sustain the quality much more. S3 should be the last to not spoil this masterpiece.
i love this season. LBH performance as frontman was more meaningful. I love seeing great actors in the cast too. Adding Im Si Wan, Cho Hyeon Ju, Kang Ha Neul and TOP to the cast would have made me think, they just added eye candies or a few famous oppa's. but nope, their characters had depth and were used well for the story.
It seems like the first kidnapper is the brother of Hong Hee joo. He kept calling her unni on one call. Then the other accomplice is the real Paek Sa Eon who is a psychotic child that he was cast out by his parents cause he is not normal.
Im actually in for the teacher-chairman love story. Its good that they have a backstory getting slowly revealed. But the main actors are my main drive to watch this show. Its been quite long since we got a romcom for Ju Ji hoon. Cant believe he’s the prince from Princess Hours
I thought he was also in Love is Panacea, his name’s Gu so i thought he could be a brother to the ML. Turns out he gonna be the ML and FL child in the final ep only. Didnt even get a close up. Such short line.

i've been rewatching Moonlight for many nights now since Love Game was about to end. it feels so nice to have the same faces act in both dramas. Love game Eastern Fantasy - effects, fantasy and visuals (the plot is underrated) Moonlight - truly underrated, Chu Li is such a great female lead, watching moonlight feels like watching the story of a publishing editor. and her love story with Zhou Chuan is so ideal, they are the sweetest couple. I was watching the Hi6! episode with the Love game cast, and in one guessing game, Esther thought the word to guess was Er Gou. The look on Yuxi and Shi ze's face. i'm sad with your comment because it's true. but in the long run, international popularity can perpetuate a show and bring in more viewers - future viewers who are mostly the international community because of the delayed release. like what happened with Scarlet Heart Ryeo (kdrama). The reception abroad and on the Internet was more positive than in South Korea. it failed technically compared to Moonlight Drawn by Clouds. however, after its run, Scarlet Heart became more popular and it made Lee Joon Gi and IU popular, until now its one of their career highlights.
I think it has nothing to do with the actress. It's the story and the script, I am very close to dropping Pearl…
true. i was so excited for this because Lusi in a drama is really something to watch out for. but sadly, the story of pearl girl was not a masterpiece. I'm watching out for Love's Ambition - hope that fares well Story of Pearl girl was not as good as Love Like the Galaxy.

but i think the writing in Love Game is better than Pearl Girl.
that's a big factor.
