it's a life together with aunties show. I like the plot development of their family. but I hope they let Hua Zi become pampered later on in the story. The lives of everyone in her family seem to be carried upon her shoulders. Yanxi is there but I can't feel he has done much for her. Even his sister was adopted by the Hua family lol. He needs to make her a princess. period.

i expected him to improve so hard. because his projects are coming one after another. and he started out strong on PYHOMS. or maybe he just needs a better script or character development for his roles.
cant believe that this has lesser score than Till we meet again. Esther Yu and Zhang Vin are one of the best pairing ever in contemporary drama. I doubt they'll be paired again but their chemistry here is even better than Esther's and Ding Yuxi from moonlight which was also a good show. I tried watching TWMA, expecting to see the same of what I saw in ROTLF but this story between a botanist and a ornithologist is more romantic and refreshing. To be fair, they're not pure ecologists. Both of them have doctorates and can very well teach in a university as professors, but they moonlight as vloggers in this story and that is one of the plot devices which they know how to use. And Yu Meiren is enigmatic as a responsible influencer which is relevant and very sought for in our era. I like good role model leads. And the best formula is mix them in a romance plot, a little bit of misunderstanding- it's not so hard to make. But the programmer/gamer plot is getting tired. Love 020 needs a rest.
Their works have a deeper meaning of life value in the screenplays. Except for Amazing Boyfriend 1 and 2 which was part of my chinese drama starter pack. But glad to see this article which these writers of these shows. Didn't know they have same writers. Hoping to see more articles for Cdramaland like this!
one of the scenes i love from this show is the one where our girl is fighting alongside her "brother" in an ambush and MC is on standby with his cavalry on the cliff just watching the whole thing unfold. To understand what's happening, you need to watch the previous episodes cause they had a misunderstanding. This scene, he couldn't go near her but he is still protecting her. He is right afterall, that scheming "brother" was up to no good. He's very convincing as a second lead though. Very effective in balancing the jealous male lead type.
Not sure how updated your watchlist is, but you could try Love Like the Galaxy if you haven't already seen it.…
Yeah Ive done watching that. I forgot to mention its one of my favorites kinda has same vibe with WoL. Girls the generals daughter. Guy is related to the royal family. But it was long ago already.
I love esther yu and i love xu kai. I think they are both great actors and i watch this show just for them. But right now, the plot is very handful to me. It’s breaking my brain with all the xianxia gibberish and the complex plot just isnt working for me. I guess i have officially declared to have a non-love for shows about “sects”. And im frustrated right now, because what I need is a feel good drama. And the leads used to be able to give me that from watching their shows . Can somebody recommend a show right now that has a satisfying plot? In contrast to this?
