Exactly... I really like how the ML and FL were written. I also like their dynamics and interactions. But my main issue was just the pacing, like i said, a slice of life. Like a written diary of everyday detail. Though it was engaging, as i read further, it gets repetitive also. Still, i would like to see how they would fare in the drama. The journey was actually necessary for the build-up and getting to know each other, but it could be tightened, so...
How long is the novel? You think shortening to drama size might fix the pacing? 36 is still a lot of episodes.
315 chapters. Per chapter is long. Yes. I think they would lessen the draggy parts. It's also how their relationship develops along their journey. But let's just see how they'll pace it in the drama.

I vouch for this. In addition, ML talked to someone from her side to announce that she really was of royal blood, a rebel's daughter, but all the same, royal blood. But instead of killing her as his people wanted, he did the opposite. He made use of her fallen title and proposed to her. He saw it as an opportunity, for they were finally in the same status. And against all odds, he opposed everyone who wanted to kill her. Instead, he made her empress.
