i'm somehow confident they would... It's the most significant plot in the novel. And would make things easier for their relationship. And i'm also excited to see the reactions of those who bully Meng Ting Hue when they finally know it. It's like a SLAP to their faces. 😏

Can't remember enough. But there is a traitor among the leads' circle. And that fallen dynasty/state faction is one of the biggest highlights, if not the biggest, in the entire story. It's the most significant plot, i think.
I don't remember much actually. But here are the other couples. Yan Fuzhi and Shen Zhishu Shen Zhili and Di Nian/Commander Di. They all have HEA. I can't really remember who the traitor was but he was close to the main leads, just within their circle of friends.

Yes. Super good, intense, hot, fun, trusting, and very strong relationship in the novel. I don't remember much about chancellor Gu. But he wasn't really creepy for he didn't reciprocate his student's feelings. And his wife was already dead there.
haven't read the novel, but i think i'd have preferred the novel version. i don't like the drama version, ie teach/student…
