Low-key understand you, I actually want to watch this drama but this guy's career is finished and I doubt he will make any kind of comeback.

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
Hmm. I highly doubt that the head nurse is the mother. I mean it's impossible for MY's mother to survive all of…
The father had memory issues due to his brain tumor. She is MY's mother.

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
I would surely be disappointed if she is the mother. It would be total mockery of the viewers...
Why she behaves weirdly...it's because she is a psycho, she such a psycho that she is constantly portraying a sane facade in public whilst secretly torturing her husband during the night. Her new targets now that her husband is dead are the brothers.

She doted on her daughter because she wanted to fuck with her husband's head, it's the reason why he hired a housekeeper because he was afraid his wife will create a monster out of their daughter.

Okay, this bit a bit of conjecture on my part because it wasn't completely revealed why he hired the housekeeper (KT's mum) but then again MY's mum said this to KT's mum as she killed her “I didn’t get to say this earlier. It’s me who will take care of my child.”, so it is plausible.

I think the head nurse did something to cause his death in a way because it seemed it was like the following day after he had that night of clarity and remembered why he killed his wife and how his daughter knew what happened but didn't say anything. It felt like he passed away the following day, so I wonder if his wife paid him another visit.........she probably did and it probably wasn't the next day because the butterfly on the mural only appeared after his funeral.

Yh same, though everyone was theorising that perhaps the nurse is her mom, now that it is kinda revealed, it still…
I believe she really is MY's mum, she really likes to be a psycho and what she's done so far, kinda fits her MO because who would really do all that unless they really are psycho.

Why would it be a mockery?

To be honest, her being the mother was way too obvious I felt it was a huge red herring, like there were too many instances where the arrows were pointing at her like when she wanted to see what he put in his locker, the whole thing about the humming ghost only appearing when it was that guy's turn to do the night shift, etc.

She was such a red herring that I was thinking this is way too obvious, surely not...it can't be her and in this case, she really is.

Title 49 Days
I kinda know what happens at the end of this show and I'm only on episode 6 and I kinda want to watch something else because of it.

However, its leaving Netflix soon and so I kinda need to watch it because the quality on Netflix is really good for an almost-a-decade-old K-Drama.

Hahaha please be generous. It was rated very poorly in Korea.Makes sense, the same with Ho Goo's love, both dramas…
I've actually seen some Yamashita's stuff, I know Code Blue is really popular but I'm not really into medical dramas to be honest.

I was totally unaware of time travel being banned on Chinese dramas that are on TV. Thanks for the heads up.

I don't use recaps for being "lost in the culture", I use it sometimes to spoil the drama a bit for me. I've done it a few times where its backfired to the point that I don't return back to the drama like Bridal Mask (aka Gaksital).

I was thinking about Many Faces of Ito actually, also don't worry I usually watch my stuff in chronological order.

I use to be a subtitle fiend but mainly for Japanese content as I pretty much grew up on anime for over 20 years now and as far as I can see most of the dedicated anime subbers are no longer there and for a while now, so it's all crunchyroll sub rips I think. I actually don't watch anime on Netflix because I'm worried the subbing is going to be shit, do you know is this is the case or not?

I started on J-dramas (after animes but delved into K-Dramas for a short while but now I'm back and watching more than ever) and I am a big Kimura Takuya (KimuTaku) fan but I haven't seen any "J-doramas" in a while actually, my sister recommended Bitter Blood to me.

The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber sounds hella interesting and I do like it when the leads are essentially star-crossed lovers on opposing ends and absolutely love the whole "love-hate" relationships, I think that's why I watched "I do, I do". To be honest, I'm always looking for a good enemies to lovers type dramas.

I know I have seen some Chinese dramas in the past when a website called Studio6 existed but unfortunately I never recorded what I watched on MDL and I have seen a few Taiwanese dramas as well but like more than a decade ago (I remembered their titles but not the Chinese ones). What I'm trying to say is that I've been kinda avoiding them but I think might actually open up to watching them as I have a lot of Chinese and Hong Kong movies.

The Unexpected, might actually be the first Chinese drama that I watch, the premise sounds great and I want to know how he's going to change her. I know the whole comic-book sekai stuff should end in a bittersweet end but the 2 I've watched (W and Extraordinary You) ended on happier notes. The premise for The Unexpected expects him to leave the comic book world, essentially leave her possibly....damn I'm curious. I'm going to see if its on Netflix UK first.

Thank you mate, I guess I'll be watching all of them and I'll look to see if your recommendations are on Netflix.

I only know Dramabeans for their recaps lol.

Mate, I'll be frank, I'm sorta lost with what you are trying to say.

Are you saying I rated it too high or too low?

As for it being a "MeToo" drama, is it really? I know the female lead is a strong and mature woman and a male lead is a bit of a youthful clown who is trying his best I guess.

Regardless, it's tough to find good shows on MDL because of the scores they have. I really liked this show but a 7.3 community rating just seems to be too low and is what made me hesitate a little bit before watching this one. I'm having the same issue right now about whether to watch the following K-dramas that are set to leave Netflix next month which are Yong Pal, 49 Days and Lie to Me.

What a show, I just finished it and gave it a 10/10. The cast did brilliantly, in particular Kim Seo Hyung as our main lead and Park Hoon as the hauntingly menacing villain.
