This one had a lot of potential but got was ruined by the super annoying side characters. Mai Yai's incessant screeching was giving me a headache. All the villains over the top, out of control behaviors were so unrealistic and just silly. Poor writing. The Leads chemistry was fun to watch and the only thing making this show bearable.
Found this one on Telegram and man oh man, crazy! I don't mind slap kiss, but this was to much. ML would rape FL as revenge against the sister for saying mean things to him, and embarrassing him in front of his dad. WTH? ML was way to psycho and just casually evil with no real reason. Very disturbing. FL was broken psychology by him very quickly and it was sad. The so called redemption felt weak and and the two of them falling in love? When did that happen? No relationship development that ever felt authentic. Chemistry was meh. Skip skip skip
Just finished this one and it was pretty good! Yada had to be one of my all time favorite FL's. She is strong and smart, but still human with weaknesses. I wish the kisses weren't fake, because it was really kind of weird and distracting. Also, it bothered me that ML never took responsibility or showed remorse for what he did to the little sister. He just had cop outs like "you should thank me for making you stronger" and "I opened your eyes to the world". Um, no. You preyed on an innocent young girl, manipulated and betrayed her. It would have shown real growth to face that and sincerely apologize. The ending was a little weak, but still a good show overall.
It's a cute, light hearted Lakorn. Good chemistry between the leads. I agree with the earlier comments, it would have been better to have more romantic scenes between the leads and not so much time spent on random stuff. Still, entertaining enough to pass the time.
This one had potential, but failed to deliver. Poor acting and lack of chemistry between the leads is my main complaint. It seemed completely unbelievable they would fall for each other. Mid way through very draggy. If you are looking for the kidnapping, revenge Lakorn, Jamloei Rak (2008) was much better.
This one was super cringe. The story and writing read like a teenage girl's fantasy. Your beautiful big sister and dad both don't appreciate you, and use you to settle debts. They give you to a very handsome, rich, and lonely Mafia boss, who is secretly a good person. You dazzle this Mafia boss with your quick wits, adorable quirkiness, and beauty which no one had ever noticed before. The Mafia boss really cares about you and even makes you go to school, where*gasp* he is the Principal! Now he shows that he's jealous of you by not letting you be close to boys your own age. Then he chastely kisses you one the forehead, and purposes marriage, while also promising to leave the life of crime behind for good. You agree, but tell him you will go to college first. The End. Wowza. The acting was very bad, FL had way more chemistry with the boy her own age. ML was so socially stunted, no wonder he would gravitate to someone as emotionally immature as himself. (But it still felt creepy) If you are looking for the bride knapping trope, there are much better ones out there.
Overall, this was a pretty entertaining Lakorn. Lots of chemistry between the leads. ML carried it with his brooding charisma. FL was beautiful, innocent without being insipid and you could see why he would fall for her against his will. The ending was a little weak, and took about 4 episodes too long. Still, not bad at all.
Wow what a mess! The ML lead went from your classic bad, to decent, to terrible! This was a drama where I really didn't want the leads to end up together. The ML was selfish, manipulative and down right cruel, pretty much the entire drama. FL deserved much better. #justiceforBow The actors all did a good job, FL in particular was awesome. Too bad the writers robbed us of any meaningful character development or redemption. The so called happy ending felt fake and not likely to last.
So excited to see Song Weilong in a new drama! He was fantastic in Go ahead. Not a fan of Angelababy, she has no emotional range at all, very wooden. She is stunningly beautiful, but can't act imo.
The ML has to be one of the most unattractive leads ever. (Character not actor) He acts like such a mean, spoiled child. His verbal abuse was especially toxic. FL seemed weirdly addicted to him as an abuser. In other shows even if there is toxicity, you will get moments (usually rescues, or drunken confession of love) that show you the Prince behind the beast, but this one, not so much. To the very last episode he acted like a overgrown child, and she had no self respect. Save yourself and skip this one
Just started this one, and I'm so distracted by how much the ML looks like Dylan Wang. Certain expressions and angles, it's uncanny! Overall a fun show so far, can't take it too seriously but good enough to pass the time.
