I have another one.....while walking back home...drunk...after the drunken kiss....a motor bike nearly sidelines FL, she is saved by ML who fall into an embrace which lasts about 10 minutes! the FL stares goggle eyed at the ML who is lit up by the moon, and some street lamps, some petals fall around them!! What do you think???

Dear writers, here is some tip on how to go about this week EPs. Throw in a drunk scene and Seokryu kisses Seunghyo.…
Yes but add in someone piggybacks someone home, drags them up some stairs, covers them with a blanket, look at them longingly and move some hair off their forehead...lol

Actually, I am not impressed with the story, really disappointed. Because even though this is a drama and Hae-yeong…
This is a big world where there are so many views on what is appropriate sexually.
Different cultures and societies have differing approaches and generally should be respected, with the exception of abusive situations, like marrying underage girls etc etc , and other unacceptable practices which I won't outline here. If you personally want to make a chaste, conservative choice with your own life with regards to your relationship that's to be respected, and up to you.
However this is a comedy, you know like slipping on a banana peel stuff!!! It's not a morality tale. It's fun and silly and well written! Hate to say it but the ethical/sexual aspect of FL's life is pretty universally accepted as the norm lol!
I feel that if this drama offends you, just don't watch it, find something that is more suitable for you!

I'm really impressed by the micro expressions, the comedy is not OTT , also the banter and retorts are fantastic and unexpected. KJU is a wit extraordinaire and has a fast come back for every line. As do the rest of the characters, unlike some comments below I think the sound effects and music is totally enhancing the comedy. Someone made a clever analogy to slap stick comedy of 40's Hollywood, which has wise cracks and hilarious sound effects, a la Marx Bros. I think this is true of this show. I have been really attentive to the sound and it cracks me up. Kudos to the editor.

Depends on your mum! I have 2 daughters and I think this show is hysterically funny!!

Yes it looks that way, but at the dinner in ep 6 you can see that KJU knows all that, and looks as if he is going to screw up this plan, but somehow take advantage at the same time.
I'm so curious about how he's going to do it, but still keep a relationship with everyone. it's very clever writing.

LND is like a Frankenstein's monster of tropes stitched together and characters who don't feel like real people.…
The clever thing about this show is the satirising of tropes, while also using them....a case in point Kopiko, I've never seen that done before in a drama.

Title Good Partner Spoiler
Ep 13 was all over the place. While I understand that I have to suspend my disbelief in court dramas when it comes…
Good point. She should have discussed a position re reporting this situation with her peers, and probably reported it to the authorities, the wife by this point should have been living separately. I imagine these fuck ups occur all the time everywhere with domestic violence.
No way she should have been making the call on her own.

Episode 5 was great as usual. This drama makes me feel spoiled as a viewer.I can't wait for the fake marriage…
Totally agree, I'm enjoying all the aspects you outlined, it's so entertaining I don't want it to end lol. Good comedy is very difficult to achieve, kudos to the team!!!

thank god someone has a sense of humour

She was having issues with her coworkers being too nosy and acting weird because of her personal business and…
I kind of agree, the relationship looked just about perfect, but part of her reasoning to break up was not to cause him a rift with his family, which of course she could have explained to him, but in traditional kdrama keeping it close to the chest, is what drives the narrative. As she had a crap abusive family, she didn't want him to lose his attachment with his own family. Of course a normal open convo about all this would have simplified things but then you've lost the driving force of the plot lol
One thing is for sure....the ML and SML are a bit obsessional in their behaviour although I get this is a romcom, but even so, it's a bit borderline.

Ok maybe a controversial opinion but i don't think ji chang wook was needed here. Maybe he wanted to try something…
100 percent agree!!! There didn't seem to be a connection or through line to his job on the Tequila plantation or the people, it felt random and I don't know why he did it. I was really impressed by the Park Bo Gum ep. there was so much that connected him with the Irish choir, music, singing, composing,...so much camaraderie, they seemed to really like and appreciate each other. The music was beautiful, and the street busking scene was amazing and moving. There was an amazing backstory, where Rory had encouraged and supported these singers from difficult circumstances. It was very well put together imo;

I am just so loving this show it's hysterically funny, the writing is fantastic and the comic timing of all the cast is perfect, they manage to look silly and ridiculous and gorgeous all at the same time. I've only seen Drink Now....by this director which I thought was pretty funny as well. The soundtrack for this drama is so good, as are the musical choices which enhance various scenes, very, very funny, as well as the sound effects. It's really hilarious when they insert little English and French phrases, perfect timing. , There is so much detail in the story that I've watched it twice, and understood better now why LSY was so traumatised by his mum reading the risqué stories, also very funny. The way this drama fits together is so sharp, and for some reason despite the tropes, it isn't hackneyed, The leads and second leads are adorable, Kim Woo Bin is a lucky guy, that's for sure. The part about the mum with dementia is so touching and sad, and the contradiction of her helping so many kids, but her daughter feeling excluded is a really understandable, it was a hard situation to resolve. Can't wait to see how the rest of the story evolves.

what wrong with that? can we stop being suppressed that women in her late 30 has a sexuality? it’s so boring
Love to hate you, is one of my all time favourite kdramas. She was adorable, and charming, vulnerable, but fully in charge of herself, her safety, her sexuality. Her ML was equally into her and not a chaste flower. I'm not sure why the ML and/or FL is often presented as chaste, inhibited and basically stupid, where their eyes bulge when someone holds their hand, or kisses them, or when they fall and trip and the guy catches them etc etc. tropes used over and over, ad nauseam.. Must be a trope that sells well, and the old ajummas in SK love to watch, There must be a reason why these repetitive tropes are used to death but I'm pretty sure it's not IRL in SK.

I think you may have overlooked an economic factor here....some knetz are often older, and conservative, they have a lot of clout now with social media and forcefully critique certain factors in Kdrama. Any production company that wants high ratings has to be very careful with what they screen. SK is a pretty conservative culture, with lots of exceptions where you see celebs and actors and the everyday person being exposed for how they really live, despite the squeaky clean 'image' that is projected. largely in movies.
Love to hate You
LoveStruck in the City
The world of the Married
Nevertheless
Another Ms Oh
The Glory
Obsessed
Now We are Breaking Up

The guys all looked pretty experienced to me. The couples seemed quite equally into each other and not "the women shagging multiple men' or 'the guys 'precious flower virgins'.
