Seriously enjoying this. PJY great! His character is really adorable, intelligent, kind, funny, sympathetic. Cast is good. The story is totally intriguing, can't figure out yet really what is the driver in this puzzle, supernatural, coincidence, grudge. It is slow, as each piece of the narrative is carefully explained, so there are no plot holes. I think it's well written, great camera work, and I'm a sucker for the underdog gets saved story. I feel there will be a happy ending.
Although its here and there sometimes but still this one is quite realistic on many fronts, especially the ending…
Maybe it's the other way round, these women want a quick superficial tryst after a tough time, and you are around to provide a short term service. Depends how you look at it. Probably works both ways.
Interesting because it's so realistic. So much Kdrama and CDrama is just fantasy escapist, no one snores, goes to the toilet, farts, or looks like a dork! Mainly the cast is so frenetically busy being gorgeous, perfect everything, lots of cosmetic surgery, coiffed hair, thick makeup and soft lenses. Which to be honest I also really enjoy, but this was refreshingly different. I think Jasper Liu resembles to some degree Jung Hae In, but in this role he's so real, and vulnerable, whereas JHI is always perfect, somehow aloof.I just can't imagine him on the toilet, or looking like an idiot. This is the first drama I've watched in a long time that reflects what real marriage is like, it doesn't rely on the usual childhood trauma, endless tropes, to escalate the drama and tension. They don't get together out of psychological trauma and need it's just a normal meet cute. I thought it was great, very funny, very well written, fantastic acting.
how does mijeong’s pov gets covered by dongjin’s? then you wouldn’t have any idea of how she feels? how…
Agree, except the first ep was partly about ML looking cool in the casino, outlining his numerical/observational talents, then his popularity at school, plus close family etc. And the second ep included info about FL mum's death, her dad etc but could easily have been condensed into one ep. Too many flashbacks, repeated scenes and the slow ML following scene, there's a lot of hovering around and staring, that is quite slow. Also totally subjective opinion, I think there could be some indication in the characterisation of the FL of some element of strength or fight, at this point she's so depressed and weak it's hard to watch imo.
So far it's great, data analyser works to undermine probability of a shitload of awful bad luck, love the idea. I think Park Jinyoung is a really charismatic actor, and the rest of the cast is wonderful, including the great cameo. It has a sad vibe like My Mister, so it's not for everyone, somehow though I don't feel bored, only intrigued to find out how the so called curse, or high probability bad luck factor will be solved, and the Leads will get happier.
I’m on episode 5, and I don’t know how to feel. The ML claims he liked her in the flashback, but the moment…
Exactly what I was thinking, he stood there like stunned mullet lol! But the whole drama pivots on that misunderstanding and resolution, so if he had explained, and the relationship went on...that's a wrap in 5 eps, no need for all the sub plots, convoluted discussions, funny moments, focus on their career paths, etc etc. Also she did block him, as he tried to call from the hospital, but he could have tried harder to find her and explain. But for some reason I'm really enjoying this drama, I think the whole cast is pretty adorable, it's just a cute, classic story.
I thought season 4 was fun and good entertainment which is what it is supposed to be. If you're looking for some serious relationship show, look elsewhere. This is a group of seriously attractive, talented people, looking to promote themselves under the guise of finding a relationship. I think the concept is entertaining, the sets are great. The hosts are all really fun and insightful, and hilarious. The cast really did no wrong, they were very respectful of each other and supportive, I hope they found a great group of friends. Good on them for participating, I'm sure there was plenty of direction and edits to promote tension and excitement, which was fundamentally like watching a kdrama. I was amazed about how much time they put into makeup, hair and clothes, it seems to be such a Korean thing, but if that's what floats their boat,
do you think Chemistry is because she is 44 and he is 37 like she is comfortable mature female? I notice it too…
If you watch Gong Hyo Jin in any of her other dramas you will see that she has this very chilled, calm demeanour, that's part of her charm, and makes her so appealing and confident. I don't think it's so much that she's 44, she just has that vibe.
I recently watched a Japanese drama Umi No Hajimari where the ML called Natsu was similar to the ML in Love Scout. He was just a lovely, self effacing, kind human being who rarely put himself first, and ran around trying to support everyone around him. I think IRL, I would feel a bit concerned for this type of guy. Obviously for the purposes of this particular drama he's the perfect love interest fantasy/invention, the knight on the white charger, the rescuer, the handsome prince, the type all women swoon for, he's a male Marie Kondo, but sexy as hell. As a father he never gets irritated, or tired, as a secretary he's grateful for the job opportunity, and always on deck. As a lover he can take just about anything. But I feel that as a human being, he should set a few boundaries and be a little bit more about himself. However, I have to say I'm loving this drama, the acting is great, the tropes are not too extreme, I'm enjoying all the main characters feeling better about life and getting the good things they deserve.
just started this and loving it! I have a question for anyone out there, when you see the street scenes, or market scenes you sometimes see large groups of people in red robes with white face masks. Even if not historically correct which group of people is this supposed to represent?

I loved ep. 11 as well, sizzling chemistry!!
