4 eps to go! Soz but finding Xiao Zhou exceptionally annoying, preferred his aloof stance in the beginning, I totally get why his girlfriend broke up with him. Man Li has kind of reversed into meek and mild, I supposed you have to accept that she has been dealt some serious blows. I seriously hope she ends up with Mr Li, potentially a great couple, daughter already loves her. I'm not minding the redemption arc for Ding, it's kind of ok to me. Man Li was possibly overbearing for him, very different personalities, shame he was conned. Maybe Xiao Zhou can end up with Keke, a wonderful family situation all up. Not really understanding why Man Li is refusing all help, eg Ding offering to pay for her Dad in the retirement place, the 3 mill. from Xiao Zhou would have saved her from losing her apartment. I'm waiting to see how it all ends. Hopefully FL and ML won't end up together, that is totally cringe.
Sun Li and Mark in the Ideal City is one of my all time favourite dramas, it's absolutely amazing.
As the drama develops, it becomes really interesting, they're both so talented and smart. The whole world of engineering and construction is so fascinating, the way this drama examines all the power plays, both personal and business, the ego, the stupidity, and gender bias. Sun Li is such an amazing actress, and Mark is equally great. Btw Empresses in the Palace is absolutely fantastic. You learn so much about that era. And the story is engrossing.
Love this show and the relaxed, open minded attitude to relationships in a polite, thoughtful Japanese style. Only thing that I'm wondering is if the reason Shinpei is so gung ho about the threesome is something to do with the flashback where he and someone younger seem to be burying something. He also appears to be quite into Tazuko, but that could be a red herring, and potentially part of some side plot.
Another engrossing and intelligent work from Ahn Pan Seok. Always a niche work, examining the machinations of companies and organisations, in terms of interactions, both personal and business. I feel like the pace was held perfectly, throughout the drama, calmly maintaining suspense and connection to the characters. A revenge drama, set in a corporate world, with really well researched material on business, finance, law and IT. Congrats to the cast and crew, what a great, entertaining drama.
Yes especially in the last few eps. And the stupid crap like leaving her phone from him around, she became inept and boring, oblivious to what he had been through, only focussed on herself, awful.

Actually Dongju doesn't seem all that interested either, it just all petered out. I agree their thing seems to have died a boring death, he can find someone better.

One thing I'm not getting, Eun Nam's character has become to vapid, in the first few eps their love was a driving force, but over time her character has been diluted down, no development. She was initially a pretty strong forceful person. I actually prefer no romance in this drama, but I don't understand the writing of her character.
You are yet to get the full measure of the FL character - thoroughly unlikable and completely useless to the drama…
Not to mention the stupid behaviour like leaving the phone on her bed, in full view, other really lame stuff. She could have been written so well as a character that understood things behind the scenes, supported ML, etc they could have been working together. Awful Fl depiction.
