How many hundreds of dramas where the characters go back in time? Korean screenwriters are really running out…

I'd only touch season 1 again for Lee Rang scenes.
Actually I thought Yeon was constantly conflicted with trying to save everyone! Which he managed in the end! I thought that was an interesting part of the plot!
I’m loving this series! It’s more like a Marvel superhero lightweight thing! However seeing all other comments I’m in a group on my own cause I loved series 1. I enjoyed it to the point where I forgave all narrative errors and plot flaws! I really loved the depth of relationships: Yeon and lee rang, lee rang and Yoo Ri, Yeon and Shin Goo and of course Yeon and Ji Ah! But Im a massive fan of Jo Bo Ah. Also loved her in Doberman! I read an article by the director praising her acting to the max and I totally agree! I thought all characters in Series 1 were fantastic including Imoogi and that cutie little kid Kim Soo Oh who cracked me up! Also loved Taluipa and her husband! I think Lee Dong Wook is fantastic in everything I’ve seen him in! In terms of this series it would appear most people like it better and fair enough! Just putting in my pov!!
FL reads women's magazines for ideas, instead of books and doesn't seem to know how to namedrop appropriately.…
Yes, both references were awful, but especially the holocaust one . it's a shame re her character development, because for a moment it looked like she was evolving out of that drunk, pity party, grieving phase. But guess not! I think those characteristics about her are written so that she seems cute, endearing and flawed, but it's not really working.
Are the writers on crack? There is no place for a holocaust reference from Victor Frankl's The Meaning of Life, in the middle of a superficial, awkward rom com banter. We have a holocaust history in the family and I did a double take at that comment. Some of my Korean friends are equally sensitive about the Japanese invasion, I certainly wouldn't mix that into a superficial convo. Up until now I really have been enjoying this show. Definitely waiting for all the awkward drunk, grieving stuff to get resolved so that the "love affair" can occur between the leads. Which is clearly on the cards. Up until now LSH has been pretty supportive of Bora and all her crap behaviour, but she is still carrying on like a 4 year old., with a drinking problem. There is no trace of the early mature career woman. Her bestie is just a meddling idiot. She should spend more time on her marriage which looks like it's on the rocks. What's with the awkward crap following the "kiss". This should have been the through line to the evolving love relationship, but no they are still carrying on like infants. The thing with Yoo Ri is totally weird to me, I don't get how it has a place in this drama. I really hope everyone gets their shit together with only 5 eps to go.
No ,, first season was boring just watch the last few episodes of it and you will know what it was all about
Boring??? It's one of my all time favourite fantasy kdramas. I thought it was phenomenal in every way, narrative, acting, cinematography. Jo Bo Ah was playing at least 4 characters, she was fantastic. Wow, talk about diverse opinions.
ML is my favorite character. Thanks to some fellow MDL'ers, I learned about "My Holo Love". I guess he frequently…
Yes he's usually kind of self-conscious or something, and bit removed, but in this he's so relaxed and funny. Lucky Yoo In Na!!! Lol. Actually she's so gorgeous, they make an amazing couple.
I suffered so much second hand embarrassment for Bora in episode 7. It was so hilarious, I love it! The conversations…
I so agree. The writing is fantastic, it's witty and unexpected. I'm loving it and laughing all the time. Her convo with HSJ to get the job was fantastic, all her awkward expressions and conniving. LSH jumping around after she peed, so funny, and somehow not too cringy.
This show is just the best. So funny and endearing. I really like every character in it, though probs army dude needs to reel it in. He's bordering on biplolar, I mean the manic phase. lol. It's so refreshing to see the main FL as a real flawed person, although of course still so cute and adorable. The ML responses are classic, very funny. He's stunningly handsome. Anyone who loves light comedy, superbly written romcom should watch this.
I think I'm feeling a bit different about this drama to lots of others. I am just loving every minute, I'm usually so critical but I like all the characters without exception, I love the way it's filmed, it has a bit of a Harry/Sally vibe. I'm really believing the characters, I think Yoo In Na's very, real emotional next to Yoon Hyun Min more contained, rational but also emotional responses are perfect. I think the comedy is hilarious, the banter between HSJ and LSU reminds me of the best Billy Crystal kind of interchanges. Of course they don't seem to do anything in the office, but argue and gossip but that's the vehicle to drive this plot, and it's so funny to me. If you've ever been through this type of break up, for sure you would relate. Snotty nosed crying, depression, desperation, on top of that she's lost her reputation and identity. I feel like as the drama progresses we are really understanding how much this relationship meant to her. It's a great learning arc, probably for both the leads actually LSU is actually very kind but out of touch with himself, arrogant and indifferent on the surface. The scene with YJW hiring his army buddy...too gorgeous, and it gets you hoping Bora's sister will get into a great relationship with that cutie YJH. Same with Uri and her silly boss, quite adorable. I think the intensity of Bora's response is really believable, the loss of a big love is almost like a death for some people, it's catastrophic on many levels. For me, I'm really impressed by her acting, often in Kdramas I feel like the over the top hysterical crying and moaning, is not believable but becomes kind of trope like. I usually FF actually, in this one I'm really suspending disbelief and involved. I also find myself hoping that her Bestie and her husband will find a way to ignite some romance back into their marriage. I really like both of them. Anyway that's my take! :)
So funny!! Loved the elevator scene, where her uber handsome doctor Roy is so gallant. She's great, so resilient, not cold and bitchy. The drinks "he's dead" scene was very funny.
