I would also even like a mini drama spinoff or special episode of Chang Ning and Bao'Er's story, since many of the novel readers have talked about them being the future emperor and empress. After all, who doesn't love a childhood friends-to-lovers where the fl (Chang Ning) would have her sister and brother-in-law, two big generals, as her support. I'd love to watch that!

I love Ning Ning's relationship with her Jie Fu. Like atp, that's her dad. I really wish we had gotten more scenes of him with her at the war camp (or atleast some) and stuff instead of Xie Wu always babysitting her, but I guess the Marquis is busy and stuff. It just would've been cute to see all his subordinates and Gongsun Yin be shocked at how gentle and caring he is with her, as if she's his real daughter. I hope we get at least a few more scenes with their little family of three before the show ends, or I'll be so sad.

I was looking at the calendar and guessed around that time too, but I'm just scared I'll be wrong and then have to suffer with no express package, especially with all the drama with the leak and stuff.

I hate all the new restrictions and censorship limitations that dramas now have. I feel like POJ would've done great as a longer series, or even with two separate seasons like in LLTG, since some parts of the story feel a bit rushed. I just hope they didn't pack everything into the last 2 episodes and make the whole thing feel rushed. Fingers crossed! 🤞

I think mostly because she, as a person, just isn't interested in studying and can't really sit still and learn for a long time without getting bored or asking lots of questions to understand. And her parents wanted her to live a simple life, in which case it would have been very common for her to not know how to read & write. But we do see in the current episodes that she is more than capable of trying to learn if she wants, just that she hasn't found a good teacher or been interested in studying before now. Good thing she has her patient husband to teach her!! 🤭

The previews for the coming episodes look SO good. I'm literally so excited for episodes 35 and 36, I can't wait to see Song Yan realize his faults, and also all the romance scenes between the CP, as we haven't really seen much development in recent eps since it's all been so war-focused. Waiting until Friday so I can binge 5 eps at once is going to be such a pain, and until then, I guess I'll just have to keep rewatching the already released episodes to ensure I stay sane. Anyone else feel the same?

And when it's 1 a day, I usually wait 4-5 days to binge the episodes together, but waiting that long makes me feel disconnected to the show as opposed to watching a bit daily. I think this show might've been more successful if they had just kept 2 eps a day the whole time, except the last week and then dropped the express, as that's usually how costume dramas with 30+ episodes make their airing schedules nowadays.

I can't believe we have to go back to 1 ep a day again. This is literally just torture. I wish they had planned the airing schedule a little better. I feel like it's just a bit like self-sabotage for them to give us two weeks straight of only 1 ep a day when this was obviously going to be a successful drama just after confirming the cast. I feel like the audience loses some of the adrenaline rush and attachment to the plot when it's stretched out like this, at least that's how it is for me. I hope, despite the leak, they still do an express drop by the end of this week, so we don't need to wait another 7 excruciating days before the finale.

My guess is that Qi Min spun the story to make himself sound like the victim, and since General He said to be loyal to Dayin, he's going to meet him for the sake of the royal bloodline and stuff. But idk, I haven't the novel or anything.

Makes sense why it wasn't in the drama then, but I think a small part of my heart still holds some delusional hope that they'll make a spinoff or something lmao.

I hope he's in a more positive role in the future because, as much as he's very good-looking and great at acting, I can't support the character one bit, and only like the actor. This problem would be very easily solved if he were a good guy, so fingers crossed for his next project!
