Finally finished this drama after putting it off cause I didn't want it to end. I think POJ will always hold a special place in my heart from now on. Maybe because I've been waiting for it for a long time, or maybe because the chemistry between the leads is so good. Either way, I know I love it. I wish we could've seen some more scenes like the deleted scene in ep 38, Gongsun Yin and Qi Shu's wedding, Changyu and Zheng's kids, and maybe a future scene of Bao'er and Changning getting together. I still hold some delusional hope in my heart that these things will be shown in a special episode lol. I did, however, love the 10 minutes for the alternate universe. It was just so comforting to watch in a way I can't completely describe. Overall, a big 10/10 from me, and I'm crossing my fingers that we'll get to see TXW and ZLH in a modern drama (maybe a casting director will recognize their amazing chemistry and take POJ's success even with the leak into consideration and give them another drama, who knows).
The two protagonists are completely different in their characters and in their relationships with their co-protagonists,…
It's so nice meeting others who like modern dramas because I feel like saying that gets you so much hate, as so many people assume it means you hate costume dramas. similar to how people associate feminism with man-haters.

Yeah. As someone who prefers modern dramas a lot more than costume dramas, I pray that he has some modern roles coming up. While I did like WRTW, I think he was so much better in his modern dramas.
I finished episode 35 and then kinda just stopped. I think a part of me just doesn't wanna say goodbye, and another part is disappointed about the ending because I got so many spoilers that it just doesn't give me the same excitement that I would get otherwise when watching the finale of a show I've loved as much as I've loved POJ.
Can anyone tell me where to find the original post of her latest vlog with Victor Ma? Also, if there is a full version with English subs. I have looked online for about half an hour and have no idea how to go about watching it.
Just rewatched YAMG and FOMH and remembered what a great actor YY is because I didn't even realize he was the ML for both of the dramas until just now. He's such a good actor as both of those roles were SO different. I've been a fan of his since I started watching cdramas and am hoping for a new work of his soon!
i noticed this as well. i wonder why netflix didn't rate it mature from the beginning. it's also on rakuten viki…
Unfortunately, I don't have anything but Netflix and Disney+. I just wish I hadn't started the first two episodes, because now I really want to know what happens next.
Went to watch the new episodes today, only to find I can't watch the show anymore because Netflix changed the rating to TV-MA. I really do hate parental restrictions. 😔
I've just finished episode 10, it's good so far, but I think I'm gonna start to skip the court scenes, I just…
I would say if you can, just watch those scenes on a faster playback speed, because while it's a bit tedious to watch, the plot isn't actually that complicated, and the politics are a pretty big aspect of this drama, so skipping any scenes will lead to a lot of confusion in the future.
So I haven't watched any of the episodes from the express yet, but I heard they removed the crawling scene in ep 38?? To say I'm devastated isn't a strong enough word for how I feel. I was so excited for some intimate scenes after all the small pecks we've been getting, but they couldn't even let us have that?? This is what I get for trying to be a good person and stay away from the leaks and just watch on Netflix. 😠Does anyone know the reason it was removed? Or atleast somewhere I can watch the leaked eps that haven't been updated with the official episodes already? I'm so desperate at this point. Someone tell me why people following the rules were the ones who got punished like this. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I actually surprise that Song Yan manage to stay alive.
He wasn't in Lin'An during the massacre, and was just an unknown scholar in the capital with no enemies and the magistrate as a backing. Why would he have died?
This type of scheduling in c-dramas are now a norm ever since they cut down the limit to max of 40 episodes per…
I don't speak Chinese, so I had to rely on tiktok and Instagram for any updates or bts clips and pics lol.
I know! I fell in love w TXW a while ago for her cuteness and good acting, but after POJ, I'm discovering so many new things about her, all of which make me like her even more!
As someone who always, without fail, gets spoiled on TikTok, I have yet to be spoiled for POJ. Which is so ironic to me, considering this is the one drama I've watched that has experienced a leak like this. That being said, I'm still not taking any precaution to avoid getting spoiled other than saving any POJ-related video to a folder I intend to go back to and watch after I finish the show. What can I say, lmao, I'm too much of a chronic doomscroller for any other method.
Yeah, it's honestly getting to the point where I sometimes wonder why I even bother watching dramas while they air instead of waiting for them to finish. But whenever I do that, I end up getting spoilers for almost everything that happens on social media and then binging the whole show in ~2 days, which is honestly worse for my grades than the current situation lol.
