There are many revisions in the actual drama " Speed And Love " compared to the original web novel where…
Yeah, such a shame we missed out on so many wonderful scenes. It felt so much like rubbing salt in the wound to see so many bts clips of scenes that didn't make the cut. Like they were showing us what we could have had, but never will be able to. ☚ī¸

sadly. I don't know how to cope. 😭
I usually let them rack up and watch on the weekend lol. That way, I can binge and fully enjoy each episode, and also not lose any study time. While it pains me to wait all week, I'd rather this than not being able to enjoy each episode and rush to finish it.

If there was anyone else like me who didn't read the novel and wondered what that sudden kiss was all about in episode 19, well... I finally decided to look for the scene in the novel to get some insight, and found it in chapter 56. Here's the link: https://mydramanovel.com/star-trails/shuang-gui-chapter-56/

To my surprise, I also found a bonus reward for my hunting and found a scene where he finds those condoms she hides in a random drawer in one of the very early episodes, after he got them as a free sample at the store unknowingly. I was so mad they never brought it up again in the show, and now I know it was probably just because of all the scene cuts that they never showed it. Even though these scenes aren't important for the plot, they are very important for us fans who never moved on and are willing to devour any little extra crumb of Zhao Mu fluff! Enjoy!!

Yeah, I'm probably gonna save them for the weekend. What I've been doing since the 1 ep a day is saving them and watching 5 in one go. Now I'm just waiting for the express. I hope it's on Thursday as everyone's been speculating.

Did Qi Min die?
Agreed. I don't think I've hated another parent figure more, other than in 'Best Choice Ever'.

Same! Honestly, I think I'll manage this week because after spring break, I'm so busy with every subject, I don't even have time to watch the 1 ep a day lmao.

This type of scheduling in c-dramas are now a norm ever since they cut down the limit to max of 40 episodes per…
Especially since I've been waiting for this drama ever since it was announced, and am a fan of both ZLH and TXW. And they are such a good pairing both visually and chemistry-wise. I wish their managers would decide to get along for the greater good and let them do a modern drama together, I think there's sm potential here.

Did Qi Min die?
I think also because Yifan's entire family was so horrible to her with no valid reason, but for most of the villains in POJ, all of them are in a horrible mental state due to previous traumatic events that led to the choices they made.

yes!!! I'm so excited to see that white-eyed wolf get humbled by our general CP!
I've just gotten so used to hearing these phrases in dramas that they've started to slowly make their way into my daily vocab lmao. Feels like a common side-effect of watching shows in another language is to pick up phrases and terms used in that culture.

Lmao. I actually think that Chang Yu will go back one day and support her and get her the best treatment in the capital as a way to honour Man Di's last wishes. Why does she need to rely on the man her brother was killed off for, you know?

In the end, they're all a bit misunderstood.

It was said in a very early episode that the reason Man Di was a debt collector was to raise enough money to save his sister, who was sold to a brothel at a young age. And he only had one year left because after that, she would come of age (still only a teenager, but still) and officially become a courtesan and have to serve customers. His sister also wanted to be a dancer, but after the raid and massacre of Lin'An, her leg was broken, and she became crippled, so he wanted to get money in the army to go home and treat her leg, to help her dance again. đŸ˜ĸ

Btw, I hope I explained that well idk if it makes sense or not. If not, I can try to explain it a bit better if you'd like.

Did Qi Min die?
I know. I think he actually did feel a little bad at first. You can see it in his shocked/kinda hurt expression after Princess Changxin slapped him immediately after entering the room.

Did Qi Min die?
I actually agree. I see so many people hating on him for his actions, but nobody is born evil. Unless it is a mental illness since birth, everyone goes through something that shapes them into who they become, and Qi Min was an innocent child and a victim of corrupted officials' attempts to gain power at the cost of human lives and their morality. I think he could've MAYBE had a redemption arc since he never truly hurt YQQ and was simply threatened by Bao'Er's existence as it was explained in today's episodes, but it would've taken a long time and a lot of character development to get there.

Maybe they'd get a special appearance or be mentioned a lot in szn 2/the special episode if we even get one? (I know this is a crazy level of delusional, but sometimes being delusional is all you need in life.)

I honestly don't even care about the addition of the grandson, because the more the merrier ig, but WHY did we have to sacrifice Man Di for that? When we got so much more attached to him and Mr.Jin because of their detailed story lines compared to the other 3 thugs. Justice for my baby Man Di, he just wanted to make it home to take care of his sister. And to think, he didn't even get to see her after she left the brothel. 😭

I also accidentally got spoiled by something from the leak, so read on if you want.

Apparently, he's still alive around episode 40. And even some novel readers have said he doesn't die until the VERY end of the novel. So I think we'll unfortunately be stuck with him for a long while to come.

I actually hate that they replaced him like that. At least if he passed away, fine. It was a bit predictable. But killing him off, then replacing him with someone who has the same characteristics, such as age, voice, and even what he calls Chang Yu, is just rubbing salt in the wound. Why get us attached to a character and root for him only to do this, and replace him with a relative of someone who was a horrible person? I also did NOT like how their Lin'An group moved on from his death so fast, and we didn't even get a funeral or a scene where they mourned him together like a normal drama.
