When Ra Ra said, “I guess in life there are times when you must give up the things you cherish”, suddenly made me so emotional! Gosh, watching this series made me look like a crazy person, one time I’m laughing so hard and sobbing with tears the next. But one way or another, this is so so entertaining!
A missed opportunity. Story and character development was too shallow and one dimensional. It obviously had a better budget but the execution was just an awful pile of huge mess and utterly dumb!!!
Go Ah Ra’s comedic charm compliments Lee Jae Work’s unique charisma perfectly well. But the other guy is waaayyyy too old and frustratingly, persistently annoying in every scene!!!
There’s really something unique about the storytelling and post production of Korean dramas that is irresistible to the viewers and this one is no different, beautiful and moving.
This drama was saved by Ji Chang Wook and Kim Yoo Jung’s great visuals but not so much with their chemistry. Would love to see Kim Min Kyu and KJY in another drama together as leads.
I was so hyped for this film for quite some time that I felt a bit disappointed after watching it. Though it might not be the popular opinion but I prefer the manga more than this live adaptation. I thought the actors gave convincing, gritty and credible acting but the storyline was a bit thin and predictable (maybe coz I’ve already read the manga that I expected more). But overall, I enjoyed the film’s erotic elements yet more importantly it portrayed depth towards the characters instead of reducing them to simply pornographic roles.
