I really enjoyed this. I never went in expecting it to be KP - it isn't. KP isn't really a BL by the "traditional" standards - UN is definitely a BL and filled with all the tropes. Its a little over the top at times but what lakorn isn't?

Yoon was fantastic in this. He carried himself like a powerful person the entire time - one of the best examples is even at the very end of the show, when he jokes about his 3 subordinates. I was quite impressed with him and I really wasn't his biggest fan going in.

I think if you watch a lot of Thai BL this will be a refreshing change from the HS/Uni format.

I appreciate this comment more than I can say. I'm going to take a step back from this. " Imagining a gun for me is like imagining myself using magic" - I cannot relate to that, guns are everywhere here. I didn't realize it could be like that.

I will admit that I've had a "triggered" type reaction to this and I really dislike that. I do understand that this is imagery and hyperbole. That is my hang-up actually - they knew exactly what they were doing when they selected this and they were so many other ways to do it.

I've spoke to children that have told me they are afraid to go to school every single day - I'm sure their are millions of children here that feel the same way. Some of them will watch this show and see their biggest fear utilized as artistic imagery for a baseline plot point.

I'm going to reflect more on this but it just doesn't sit well with me at this time.

It would be just as unacceptable if the character was imagining slicing up his classmates with a katana or stabbing them with a knife - I believe they chose the assault rifle bc it is not available to students in Japan. Still very lazy - any depiction of children violently assaulting other children is not OK.

This is something that we deal with here in the United States and its terrible.

I'm a huge fan of Japanese culture and I'm aware they don't have an issue with this as much as we do in the US but that doesn't make the decision to utilize this imagery multiple times all right. I didn't say "they" were not even remotely OK - this content is not acceptable.

The Director literally has the picked on loner imagining shooting up his classmates to demonstrate that he doesn't want people messing with his crush - that is lazy at best and career ending at worse, regardless it was wildly unnecessary.

I can't believe this was made. The whole fake shooting up your classmates thing is terrible. Not even remotely OK. I literally dropped the show on principle and will not watch another second of it. This is the lowest rating I will ever give.

Completely agree Lestay. I feel like UWMA is one of the shows this year that has raised the bar for the genre in general.

I've really enjoyed learning about Thai desserts and I mean that honestly. Additionally, this is one of those shows that I don't mind being longer, even if it is filler - I know I'm going to be a little sad when its over.
