I don't know why so many people are getting wound up over the "low rating" which isn't even really that low. Something…
Only on MDL does a rating close to 8 out of 10 is considered bad...I have learned to take it with a grain of salt. Reading comments and reviews is a much better indicator of the "quality" of a drama.
I wish the rating system was not so subjective and odd. I think a scale with only 5 clear options would be better. For example: 5=Love it 4= like it 3=neutral 2= didn't like it 1=hate it
This way, the rating would be a better representation of people's general opinion on a drama.

Essentially yes. To clarify:
That's an interesting interpretation but DK did not enter the contract willingly. She only accepted when she was in front of the truck of doom (literally).
Also...DK wrote in her journal by her own free will, MM noted the date on the calendar...by his own freewill...Why was the deity able to undo those? Why was she able to undo DK's pictures but not MM? All the pictures were taken by their own freewill...

I swear my heart shattered!!! But honestly it kinda reminded of reply 1988 where Duk Sun pretended not to know…
It also reminds me a bit of Reply 1997 too.

They cross the rainbow bridge in the tunnel...there goes my ship...IkSong bye bye
What is the significance of the tunnel? Is it really a metaphor for something ending or not meant to be?

Is it just me or would episode 12 have been a better first episode? It feels like a first episode but with a better set up than what we got before.

But wouldn't that mean that she would feel pain and die eventually? It's her or her loved one, right? But she's…
I'm pretty sure that in episode 3 Myeol Mang confirmed that if Dongkyung breaks the contract (doesn't wish for doom), she will live but her "ill fate" will transfer to the person she loves most (chosen by the patient teenage deity apparently). That was the reason she found the loop hole in episode 3. If she could "make herself" love Myeol Mang most, she could live without losing an actual love one. Myeol Mang also wanted to die (that's the whole reason for his contract) , thus Dongkyung would not have to feel as guilty about causing his death. It would be the closest thing to a win-win....but of course that "screw you" attitude lasted about two seconds before Dongkyung decided to forget and forgive.

We don't know what the consequences are if Myeol Mang cancels the contract. Logically, there wouldn't be any because he is the one who created this convoluted contract in the first place. Also, he is the one who trapped Dongkyung in it.... Also, it does not make sense to me why he can't just heal her cancer. The guy can do everything as long as it is convenient for the story lmao. "I can grant you a wish. Any wish...except the one wish you truly need and want because....?"

is this drama worth it to watch?
It really depends what you are looking for in a drama. Based on the comments, this drama is a hit or miss. There are many who love it but there are just as many people who don't see the appeal.

If you are someone who loves mature romance this might not be for you since some aspects of the romances rely on the characters' immaturity. If you are someone who enjoys the built-up part of a romance more than the skinship and cutesy scenes, you might be disappointed in the main romance. If you are not fond of cliché love triangle tropes, you might find the side romance frustrating. If you are looking for a story that is complex and plot-driven, full of action and dramatic moments, this is definitely not for you. If you value well thought-out and developed world-building, you might be disappointed and confused. If you love slice-of-life and character-driven stories, you might also find yourself a bit unsatisfied.

But if you are someone who likes philosophical and metaphorical dialogues, you might find parts of the drama meaningful and thought-provoking (If not, you might find it pretentious, superfluous, and repetitive). If you like the dating part of romantic stories, you might like the main couple's interactions. If you enjoy typical love triangles, you'll enjoy the side plot. If you like fantasy romances with some interesting conceptual elements, you might find part of the drama engaging. If you are in the mood for something a bit melancholic yet fluffy, you might just get what you are looking for. If you want a story that is unpredictable despite having some clichés and familiar story beats, this drama might be worth it.

The best way to find out is to watch the first episode and see for yourself. This is one of those dramas that what you see is what you get. If you don't like the first episode or it doesn't really hook you, there is a chance that a few more episodes won't change your mind. Personally, I find that DAYS is still an easy watch despite its flaws. I wouldn't call the drama fun but it has potential and the cast is good so there are still things that are enjoyable. Also, the drama is not over. Perhaps everything I said above will become invalid later on. You also might check out the drama and disagree with my comment completely.

Title Youth of May Spoiler
I hate, hate, hate how she treats her father. Like, I understand her frustation about growing poor and not knowing…
From my understanding, her anger towards her father has little to do with being poor. It is directly linked to that incident in high school. Her father made her take the fall without an explanation. If I remember well, she was expelled from her school. Her father never supported her dreams and ambitions, and never told her the reason why. Her anger only grew when she learned the reason and realized that she had been suffering the consequences of her father's past actions and he had never bothered to tell her. Plus, she had to find out from Heetae's father after being kidnapped! I would also be angry at my father if I was kept in the dark on a family issue that could have a significant and negative impact on my own life.

I'm not saying she should treat her father in such a cold manner. I simply understand why she is angry at him and I see it as a realistic reaction, especially from a stubborn person like Myunghee. I do hope they reconcile because, like you said, her father is not a bad person. He clearly cares for her. He just made mistakes and never bothered to tell her the truth.

The world building is mediocre so far. Hopefully it will get better and we will get a better sense of this fantasy world and its inhabitants.

Can I say it? Can I just go ahead and say it? Even amidst the super positive comments? Sigh, I'll just say it.…
You are not alone. I'm also disappointed by this drama. I find the story really flat and poorly executed. I think the writer could have benefitted from a few more drafts and some proper world building. That said, I am still foolishly hoping it gets better because I do love the cast.

Their contract is a lawyer's nightmare so don't worry if you are having trouble understanding it. The writer keeps adding conditions too lol

Title Navillera Spoiler
Am I missing something? I get that Chae Rok's father wanted his team to be better, but why would you beat up your…
Chaerok's father plot line is the only plot line that I dislike completely in this drama. He was clearly abusive not only to Chaerok and Hobeom but also to many other young students. Instead of giving him a story of redemption, the writer simply downplayed the character's crime and even validated his justification for it. "I just wanted to push the team to do better" is the most bs excuse and the fact that Hobeom (nor anyone else) called him out on it is very disappointing. And the fact that he twisted everything during his meeting with Hobeom to make it seem like he was treating Hobeom terribly for his own good....you can't protect him from injury AND beat him up....great logic there buddy.

And don't get me started on his friend who secretly got him a job in a high school the moment he was released from prison...

I wish Chaerok and his father would be estranged for another reason...I just can't get myself to want them to reconnect. I feel bad for Chaerok because his father isn't that great of a person. His time in prison doesn't seem to have made him realize the extent of his crime.

Deok Chul popping up behind Ho Beom to ask him if he'd had lunch yet was so funny and such a great mood lifter.
The funniest part was the editing. They edited it like a jump scare in a horror movie minus the loud noise. Deokchul really snuck up on Hobeom (and us) hahahaha

There are two things. The first is that the dad used tough discipline, i.e. he beat his players, for better results.…
The most unbelievable part of this drama is that Chaerok's dad is still allowed to hang around a school. He was arrested and served a prison sentence (4 years I think) for physical abuse against minors.... shouldn't he be on probation and not allowed to hold a job involving any direct contact with minors? Don't they do criminal records check in SK? Perhaps his friend got him the job on the down low...but that's also terrible!

This drama was one of the most depressing one I have ever seen. The ending was a bit more bitter than sweet in my opinion.

Definitely not an easy watch, especially for any one who has ever been in a sexually or physically abusive relationship. Very triggering stuff.

I think people who are thinking of watching the drama should be aware of the tags. Their depiction is pretty explicit, especially the domestic violence and assaults. They also occur throughout all the episodes (not just in 1 scene).

The drama wasn’t bad per se, but not something I would ever rewatch.

Title A Werewolf Boy Spoiler
there is an alternate ending ? are you refering to the webtoon? the ending in the webtoon is the same as movie…
Ok so the alternate ending isn't really an alternate ending in the sense of "different ending".

Essentially, it is the scene in which older Kim Sun Yi (Lee Young Ran) finds Cheol Su again after all these years. The only difference is that when she goes to pet his head it switches to her younger self (Park Boyoung).

Thus, it is the exact same scene in which Sun Yi apologizes to Cheolsu for making him wait for her, except it is Park Boyoung and not Lee Young Ran acting in it.
