I know everyone is focused on the breakup era, but…. Can I just say I enjoyed the sweet moment between Xiao Shuai and ChengYu 🥰🥰🥰 Super sweet. I love them. 😍 These actors are all entertaining the hell outta me and doing this novel. justice frfr.
Dear Friends, the Breakup Era has begun 😫😭🤧Looks like they’re following the book timeline with the episodes. I wasn’t sure from last week’s episodes how they were gonna work it. There are still 9 more episodes to go and a whole lot of book events to get through.
My suggestion is to keep in mind that, while there is this breakup era, there’s also the makeup era, which is super healing and y’all will forget about the 🥺 of this and the next episode or so in a couple weeks or so. But these next few episodes will be sad af to watch depending on the scenes they include from the book. The scene with WeiWei sitting on a bench in the rain is coming and I will probably be crying then. 🌧️☔️😫😭
Same! They need to make Blue Complex a full length drama. It was so good. I also liked Buddy Boy and feel like…
OMG SAME! I saw several of already watched on other apps, and I’m just as confused as you. What’s the point? Probably to make more money because you either pay per episode or you buy a license for the series on that platform. Weird strategy when those with subscriptions can just go to an app and watch it without paying extra.
So I finally decided to watch this. I’m not really into horror genre but I do really love Barcode and know his acting potential is amazing, so I wanted to see his performance. He was amazing, of course. Really deserves more. I hope he gets amazing scripts at GMM…but we know how GMM is. I hope they don’t do him dirty. And I hope the work he’s supposed to be in with Jeff (Happy Ending) gets to the finish line because I know the two of them together will be fire because they’re both really really good actors.
The ending though. What in the what what?! The endless possibilities running through my head right now. I wanna know who’s flicking thr lighter. My mind hopes it’s Non because I don’t want him to actually be dead. I really wanted him and Phew to somehow make it out alive. I liked Jin until I saw he was the one who recorded and leaked the video. I felt the most sorry for Non, New, and White. This fucked up group of friends really did them wrong. I was glad predator Keng was made past tense because he deserved it for how he exploited a minor. I also didn’t feel bad at all for Poe or Top. They were the meanest to Non.
Crazy good series I won’t be watching again. But the acting of all of them was well done, seriously. I know it was a BL but it felt like the BL aspect was a side story to the main plot, and that wasn’t even a problem because the plot was plotting and the actors were acting their asses off. I also appreciate the BYS after each episode because it helped ground me again.
The only reel drama i enjoyed was Blue Complex. This one was GREAT. Besides that, i only watched mediocre ones,…
Same! They need to make Blue Complex a full length drama. It was so good. I also liked Buddy Boy and feel like it would make a good full length to flush out the characters and the storyline more.
Oh, this feels so good! And oh, the animosity between them, but all the while the hints of caretaking?! Chef's…
It was like at first sight for both- both times- until Thap sees In is a fortune teller. But the wheel of fortune is already in motion for them. Great detail tie in, I agree.
Finally. I loved Last Twilight and this one also looks good. Not just cutesy and fluff. I’m sat for this series. I’m glad to see them on screen again. 😊
I’m more interested in the story tbh. I can’t WAIT to see this. Me hoping this exceeds my expectations 🙏🏾…
My Girlfriend is the Man is surprisingly good so far. I honestly thought they’d go the Heesu in Class 2 route (what a bait switch that was). But I’ve enjoyed it. And “he” is a hottie I want to see on screen more. I Hear the Sunspot was really very good, too. Kiss scenes be damned! It was really well-told. I honestly think more kiss scenes would have detracted from the story in this case.
I absolutely agree with you on the purpose of kissing and more steamy scenes. Ans two men? Their scenes should be naturally MORE steamy, especially if they’re young and healthy. Brand new romance should have some fumbling if both are inexperienced. If not, why dead fish lips? Even young and inexperienced boys will be more eager, even if shy. That’s more realistic.
I’m glad I was able to make your weekend a little brighter 😊 It’s always good to find someone like-minded.
I think people should read the novel. I’m sure opinions will change. Or not. I don’t care. I am unashamedly…
Absolutely 😊 The novel is so good! Makes me want more of the author’s work. I’ve been looking for another of hers to read, but I’m afraid that if I find it and read it, I’ll want it to be live action. And I can’t take the stress of that useless hoping rn. I’d be writing her daily, begging her to make it live. 😂
EDIT: I did a search and can’t find any other novels written by this author. Which is tragic and relieving in equal measure. I hope she writes more and then makes it a live action. She’s got a gift I’m a fan of. 100% on board with anything she writes and produces.
Honestly, after reading the novel, I really love the main couple. I also love Gao Tu. Shen Wenlang is a jerk for…
OMG You’re WAY more disciplined than I am because I cannot! I can barely stand waiting each week, which is why I read the novel. But that backfired a bit because now I want to see it live action even more 😂. How will Huang Xing portray Hua- I’m fascinated by how he’s been playing his role thus far even moreso after reading the novel. He’s my fave, after all.
I just got to say, I find it hilarious how people are not liking the main couple because of the manipulation and…
I think people should read the novel. I’m sure opinions will change. Or not. I don’t care. I am unashamedly in love with Hua Yong. He’s brilliant and singleminded determined for the one he’s loved for 15 years. And super patient. Does he lie to Sheng? Yeah. And? He yearns for him as a fated mate. If you understand omegaverse, fated mates are rare and coveted, and the top who finds their other half do what they can to get them. He’s doing well for a man who has found his other half. Wven chaining himself up so he doesn’t hurt Sheng during his heat and mate-seeking craze (the novel explains so much).
Gao Tu also lies to Shen. Does he have valid reasons? Yes. Should he have come clean? Also yes. In the novel, I feel like what he does in the near future is wrong, but it’s for a good reason. That’s just my opinion. If you know Shen’s background, you understand why Gao Tu’s actions hurt Shen and why he reacts the way he does to Gao Tu. Do I like his character!? Not really. Gao Tu is a pitiful person and if they show more of his father, you’ll know why he is the way he is.
It’s a good novel. During an interview, the actors mention that they are trying to follow the novel as accurately as possible (they explain how the scene of Hua and Sheng wasn’t accurately portrayed because of a different director who changed something they didn’t have time to fix and how they struggled with even that turn from the novel). Fans should read the novel, if they can, to understand this story and the characters better, both past scenes and ones to come. Just my humble suggestion as I feel it clarified some of the scenes and interactions, though the actors did really well. Sometimes things just can’t be portrayed like it was written due to internal monologues, time forcing scene cuts, budget, or other extenuating factors that come from turning a novel into real life. Like the explanation for why Hua chains himself up in a hotel room and why that particular hotel is such an issue and why Sheng doesn’t go there himself but sends a private investigator in his stead. Or the complexities surrounding the three companies and why.
But I digress. 😊(btw, I really dislike the way this app makes me come back to edit my post so my paragraphs show up.)
They were recommended by people that found them similar.
They are NOT similar outside of more and a loosely interpreted and portrayed idea of the omegaverse. I mean, what kind of omegaverse stories were they reading to come up with PitBabe?
I think people like the second couple as an extension of their love for Gao Tu. Amongst the four main characters,…
I love me some master manipulation. I’m fascinated by Hao Yong and our actor portrays him so well. I can’t wait to see how he interprets him in future scenes as the novel had me smiling with every interaction and switch up. Huang Xing does such a good job with the subtle facial expressions and body language. I can totally see the delicate, ethereal Omega flower everyone is enraptured by through his portrayal. I’m having the time of my life with the storyline of the main couple.
In the novel, the second couple really doesn’t get that much time. And their story is the most frustrating for a LONG time. So much so that the conclusion of their “courtship” seems abrupt. Brace yourselves.

Give us a date (airing like this week, please. Or next week. We aren’t greedy 😉)
