I really regret every sidewalk crack I ever stepped on. Truly regret if Monday would forgive me, I’ll also repent for hating Mondays for so long. I was a poor, ignorant fool who didn’t know any better. In fact, Monday is my new favorite day of the week! Scouts honor🖖🏽

OMG my ADHD obsesses until the next episode! I rewatch every episode at least 1x a day and the newly released episodes at least 5x each Monday and Tuesday. But I also dislike surprises, so I found and read the novel in a couple days. No more suspense.

😂 No shade from me! Sometimes I’m typing like a crazy person on my phone. That’s when MDL frustrates me the most because of the issues with spacing and spelling. I sometimes have to close the app and reopen just to go back and edit my comment to show the paragraphs and other edits. Endlessly annoying. Which is why I pull out the laptop right after an episode drop.

Truth. I love Love for Love’s Sake. I’ve seen it a ridiculous number of times. And Takara-kun & Amagi-kun is a staple for me (well over 50 rewatches). I also don’t think every drama needs a 70% build up before moving to the next step. Episode 1? If both consent (verbally or non-verbally), who cares? Now, it seems as if this person may not have seen Playboyy- THAT fits more in line with their description of throwing the plot out the window for NC scenes. Now if you want to talk non-consent with EXPLICIT NC scenes, that’s 100% Dangerous Drug of Sex. My oh my was that an…experience. But still with a pretty heavy message for viewers. NC scenes were abundant, but the plot was plotting too. Super sad for almost the entire movie. I was sad when it left Gaga.

Um…well…the thing is…😬…

The suspense may very well age me significantly before this series ends. Evwn though I read the novel and know what happens. Just watching our guys bring it all ago life is what hooks me so thoroughly.

Right. I feel like this was SuoWei’s last gamble. I don’t think he fully expected Chi Cheng to end it, even though he “prepared” himself for it. I think he still hoped Chi Cheng would crack and just unleash his anger (showing he “loved” him the way Wang Shuo described how Chi Cheng loves versus likes) on him, proving his love. This anger would also absolve SuoWei of his guilt for scheming against him and then keeping it from until the end. I think that, until Chi Cheng walked out the door, he didn’t fully expect it or realize how bad it would hurt him. But he did say that once he decided on a course, he has to see it through. And he decided to get to the bottom of the 3 friends’ separation, no matter where it led- losing a little hope with each piece of “evidence” showing Chi Cheng “loved” Shuo and only “liked” him. That last fight was the last nail in the coffin for him, solidifying his decision to the last step. I think he made the evidence easy for Chi Cheng to find to “help” him break up with him with no regrets and no lingering feelings like he had with Shuo.

Welcome to “The Obsession.” Once you enter, you’ll be consumed by RL content. You’ll never look at the length of a week the same. Mondays will become highly anticipated days and the hour immediately following the last episode on Tuesday will make you feel like a piece of driftwood in the vast open sea; you’ll question what you even did before RL appeared in your life and how you’ll go on when the final credits roll on Episode 24.

Why are you so f’ing far away? Like, what did I do in a past life that deserves this kind of punishment? Making me wait 129 more hours is undeserved, no matter what I did. Look, I even repent for whatever my ancestors did to piss you off. I apologize for breaking that mirror. I apologize for stepping on sidewalk cracks. I really tried to avoid black cats (all cats, really). What happened to forgiveness? Redemption?
