The 3rd couple - his girlfriend is toxic af and I disliked her immediately. Why are the girlfriends usually so toxic in Thai BLs? 😮‍💨 I have been skipping through Doctor's Mine quite a bit, unfortunately. It's sad because the actor who plays Mild (Arm) is super cute, but I also don't think he and Long have enough chemistry. Maybe it's just me- I don't get butterflies, elephants, eels, or even mild static electricity watching them together. Oh well. There's Khemjira (I'm in love with KengNamping since DMD Friendship 1- their chemistry was solid from Day 1. I honestly felt like it was their dating show and not a partner match show. Both them and Thomas and Kong) and My Magic Prophecy (Jimmy and Sea never disappoint) to make up for it.

Exactly. And censorship can't be an issue when ChengYu and Shuai were ramping up their romance with kisses and more while Chi Cheng and SuoWei were showing their intimacy without kisses. That would make no sense. Censorship also didn't stop the earlier episodes. This was released on a platform the Chinese government can't touch. So using censorship as a reason has no true basis other than dissatisfaction of the same explosive kissing scenes in the earlier episodes.

Would I personally have enjoyed more kissing later on? Sure. But the intimacy I was after was shown in other ways. Hugs and cuddles, loving gazes, doing things for the other just because you don't want them to experience a minor inconvenience (without really thinking about it). The intimacy is at a deeper level. I get the progression of intimacy and character/couple growth the director was going for - for both couples. I also noticed that Chi Cheng's jealousy over SuoWei and Shuai's friendship and time together settled quite a bit after they made up. That's significant. It shows his trust in SuoWei is absolute.

IKR?! He was in Dead Friends Forever, too. Don’t know if you saw it. It’s a horror/thriller type BL. Graphic on the horror side but actually really good. I slept on it until this summer and finally watched in between RL episode releases. He’s such a good actor. So talented. GMM better do him right. I also still hope his drama with Jeff (the one Jeff is producing) comes out. Happy Ending, I believe it’s called. I gave up on Wuju Bakery long ago.

Absolutely! I was on the fence about your #10 (I’ll give it a shot) and #2. I’m waiting for #7 and #9 to end to binge. I forgot that I’m also watching #11 <- It’s good. I don’t know how I forgot to add it. I am also watching (my list keeps getting longer- I had to put them all in my phone calendar to remember what airs when):

- The Nameless Season
- My Girlfriend is the Man (not a BL but I’m enjoying it)
- Kita-kun, Oir Shared Love (interesting concept and I love the actor playing Kita, he played Takara in Tamara’s Treasure- A gorgeous human being)


I’ll also be watching Soul Mate when it finally airs (I hope soon).

- The Proper Way to Write Love (it’s interesting-ish, though one of the MLs is kinda annoying)
- Doctor’s Mine (considering dropping though)

Soon we will have Revamp, finally. The second trailer made me go Hm… GMM took it over so who knows. BounPrem and Barcode? I’m sat anyway. How badly can GMM botch it? (🤞🏽)

It’s definitely refreshing to have female characters supporting rather than trying to get between our gay couple for one reason or another. not sure why they need to keep that girl in it to be honest. Maybe she plays an important role in future episodes?

OMG It’s over RL Fam. That’s craziness. What am I gonna do with my week? (Rewatch the series again and the BTS, of course). I am so glad they gave us a happy ending. But 33 minutes had my eyes bugging like SuoWei! Still, the ending was super sweet.

As someone predicted, no more kisses between our Chi Cheng and SuoWei in the last few episodes- interesting choice. I do wonder why they made it. Not that there weren’t other ways they expressed their love for each other- there were ample ways! In the novel, Chi Cheng’s “appetite” is just as voracious in the end as it was on D1. Is the lack of sexual intimacy on screen supposed to convey his character growth? Maybe. That’s how I’m gonna take it anyway. While the kiss at the end for ChengYu and Shuia shows Shuia’s growth in opening up fully for ChengYu, who remains steadfast and devoted. I get it. (I still wanted more lip locking for Chi Cheng and Wu SuoWei- I can’t help it 😂Theyre chemistry set my screen on fire.) I am still satisfied with the ending. I mean, they could have done us like Stay with Me.

Like many of you, I’m already going through withdrawals, “hoping” for a special episode or two 😂. We just can’t help ourselves, I know. 😉

Man, this has been one hell of a roller coaster ride. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed experiencing this series with you all. 😊 It’s been a great source of joy for me. I hope to see you all in future comment sections. And perhaps back here every so often as we rewatch and relive this summer. 😊
