I think it’s personal preference. I loved LITA 🇹🇭. It was my 1st BL and I’ve rewatched it a dozen or more times. I was excited for this 🇯🇵 adaptation because Japanese BLs have always had my 🩷. For me, this was not it. The actors, acting, too-short episodes… The actor for Rain looks older than the one for Payu. Their scenes together to me were cringe af. I fast forwarded through most of it before I just dropped it after 3 or 4 (rated it 5/10). I came back out of curiosity and watched part of the second couple but dropped again quickly because for me nothing changed.

But you may enjoy it. There are mixed reviews in the comment section.

Team Seong Hyeon! He’s a MUCH healthier choice for Da On. Regardless of his reasons, Jae Min did Da On so wrong in ep2. Like, wow. I think he’s trying to protect him from Su Hyeon, but Da On is a grown a$$ man and can take care of himself. I do want to know what Su Hyeon’s story is with Da On and why the flashback with the 3 of them was the way it was. Maybe there’s a legit reason? Either way, this is messy and I’m enjoying it already. I need to read the webtoon for sure.

The ending was better than the beginning and by the time it ended, I didn't want it to. I keep thinking how it would be nice to have a forward to when they have graduated higher education and where their relationship goes from there. Super adorable. I still love DoHa and especially 😆 Min. I want to see him in more dramas.

I’m not a die-hard fan of either, though I enjoy series from both couples. Like I don’t understand the hate people have for Dunk. I haven’t disliked any of their series, and can see improvement in his acting as I mentioned above. I don’t think my opinion is unfair nor prejudiced against or for either couple. If that’s what you mean by biased. I am someone who can see that both couples have different skills. Crazy for BL watchers, I know. I do have my preference of the 4 as far as acting- I love Joong and Khao and if they’re in it, I’ll give the series a try even if the trailer is lacking or reviews are less than stellar. So I AM biased towards them.

All in mandarin? Unfortunate for me then. ☹️

I had to revisit one of my faves and binge through again. I love Iwase Yoji. He is beautiful and portrays his character so well. Even when he doesn’t speak, his eyes say so much. I need him in more roles. I’ve been following him on IG since this finished airing, hoping for news of a new drama announcement.

I think what I like most, other than Iwase’s visuals, is this message of loving and accepting yourself; seeing the positive things your loved one sees in you and embracing that part of yourself. That’s what I took from this series and the spin-off.

I love JBLs. There really is just something about them.

I loved the trainees’ interaction with Lisa. The way they made her day 😊 I was all smiles. Especially when she got them all hyped up over their isolation then told them she’d get them all sushi. 🖤🩷. I’m not really that big of a Blackpink fan (I’m mostly boy bands like BTS, Seventeen, BUS and LYKN) but I may need to find more clips of Lisa because her happy and bubbly personality is winning me over 🥰

The language hurdles are always interesting and I love how they work through it together. I know it has to be frustrating at times when you can’t communicate, but they’re figuring it out, which is an important skill to have. I wish I spoke all the languages represented in this show.

I also thought BamBam was crazy extra bold this episode. BamBam gives no Fs and I’m here for it. 😂 This show is seriously entertaining. I’m not looking forward to when/if trainees start getting sent home. 💔

These episodes are killing me with the cliffhangers followed by next week’s previews. 😫😫😫 And now Jin’s mind reading is trippin’. I wanna how how come he has that ability. Will we get more of this new parallel world with Phu in glasses and man bun Cir (the way I’m glad to see Boss’ man bun is probably a diagnosis on god). How do Win and Jun get together? When does the evil mon and her mini me get theirs? Impatience is my constant friend. I may need the book. 😂

That really was the worst in Perfect 20 Liners. I would never have forgiven her. She’s a horrible mother. High School Frenemy doesn’t have an easy forgiveness AT ALL though. It takes FOREVER and a day for a semblance of forgiveness to occur.

8 episodes in and if this isn’t a BL pretending to be a bromance, I don’t know what is. The lines, the delivery. Absolutely not buying it as a bromance. What it is, is a BL in bromance clothing. The chemistry is chemistrying. The number of times I shouted “just kiss and make up already” at my TV… It’s giving 5cm ifywim😉 Like, I bet these two would set the screen ablaze were their lips to meet up. I’ll even take an accidental trip and fall onto lips at this point. I’m not picky.

That being said, I’m not sure what else needs to be shown for 8 hours more tbh. Why do we have 16 episodes? I guess the students from Class 2 need to miraculously pass the exam and wow all the haters. And the twins (whom I love btw- I’ve never had the opportunity to see them act together for some reason- that I know of) and Ken need to get theirs…especially Ken. And we need to see Cable stand up to his overbearing mom. That scene where she psychologically plays him with the guilt trip had me forever against her. But I bet she somehow remembers she’s a mom and grows an empathetic bone towards the end and makes up with Cable and maybe Copter? Who knows.

Can I say- ChingChing is adorable frfr. She’s the cutest.

I’ve been binging for 8 hours and my mind is mush.

“No one dies” is crazy. I’ve had this in my to watch list for well over 2 years and every time I think about watching it, I see reels or read comments here and decide it needs to simmer longer in my list. ☹️ But someone did compare it to WHC1 since the last time I visited this page and I love that series so much so maybe I’ll watch it soon.

“The bottom bottoms to ever bottomed” I say this type of phrase all the time. Usually it’s “ I’m the pettiest petty that ever pettied”😄

Real though. No way people will buy that actors like Earth had a gf then bf. Nope. Not ALL labels are bad or used with ill intent. Saying your sexuality shouldn’t be this complicated. Homophobia is to blame, fr. I mean, if I see a cute dog, I’m not gonna call it a quadruped animal with fur that barks and makes me smile just to avoid a label. Also, too many words. Muddying the waters means no one drinks.

I’m not planning to watch this until all episodes are out. I’m not that patient. I’ve done it with the series released by Sukfilm and the ongoing Cityboy Log on youtube. But both have extra released material clips throughout the week for subscribers (which I am). I’m not subscribing to anything else.

I wanted to wait until next week but I’m weak. What can I do? I noticed they showed everyone smiling but Thame. 😢 Po looks like he’s trying but not being successful at moving on. That letter is gonna make me 😢😢😢, I know it! 7 more days!

These unnecessary hints at the obvious without being overt as some misguided attempt at inclusiveness and political correctness which comes across as being borderline homophobic or at least not truly accepting and fully inclusive make my eyes role. You can still support love is love regardless of gender AND STILL SAY SOMEONE IS GAY! ffs

The last episode frustrated me only because it took the duration for me to get what I came for. I’m just impatient. 😉 I did actually enjoy this episode despite my impatience-induced frustration.

It ended as abruptly as Perfect Propose did- as far as how they cut the scene. When they do this, it feels slightly unfinished, you know? I’m not sure I’m explaining it right. Like cutting someone off right before the punctuation mark, I guess.

In any event, I’ve enjoyed the chemistry between these two and though I wish for more, I know they likely won’t give us another season let alone work together in the future. JBLs be sinking fan ships before they even have a chance to set sail. (Like KBLs.) Very healthy of them.

To be honest, I was only watching it because I couldn’t stop even though there’s a significant element of chemistry missing (and HaMin). But after today’s episodes, I actually want to know how Wooyoung reconciles with DoHa. I’m always rooting for DoHa. Wooyoung is slow at processing but DoHa processes and predicts what’s going on quickly and responds. I lowkey am glad he chose to protect his heart this week. There’s only so much you can take without feeling used. And the Kwon kid- you can tell he harbors secret feelings he’s ashamed to admit about DoHa (I gotta admit that these two do look good together). That recollection of his shared moment with Kwon and why DoHa pierced his ear was a glaring spotlight on his feelings.) I’m here for it all! I want see HaMin in more. He just super cute. 🥰
