One thing I love about Japanese BLs (other than the storytelling, videography, actor visuals, and overall production quality) is that their actors aren’t confined to one type of genre or another. The actors play in BL and non-BL roles, which I respect.
I wish I spoke Thai fluently because this was one hella frustrating watch with subtitles being non-existent and…
I think it’s the only series on Tencent (WeTV) without subtitles. I don’t get it. I had to use my Bluetooth translator earbuds. It’s not perfect because you have to tap the screen on and off beteeennpauses just right or it doesn’t catch or mis-translates a sentence.
You know how you can’t help watching a train wreck? That’s how I felt while watching this.
Not sure what I just watched or what the point of the story was. Very low budget production. The actors would benefit from more workshops. I felt zero chemistry between the MLs.Like not even bromance or brotherly chemistry. Maybe it’s because of the age difference between them (9 years) because they both looked hella awkward.
I couldn't finish this drama because it triggered something I had buried deep in my soul with its raw and disturbing…
That’s Japanese BLs for you. You get fluffy like Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice but to Kiss and movies like “Dangerous Drug of Sex” and this series. They all move you in some way.
I love all the pairings and they’re exactly what I expected. And we know Por and TeeTee have amazing chemistry from Your Sky, delivering fire in just a few minutes. I can’t wait to see them as MLs in their own series.
But can we talk about Latte and Kim? like omg. I’ve loved and rooted for Latte since the first season. I’m glad he found his partner. They look amazing together and they’re so sweet I can’t stand it. I need them in a drama together asap. These were my 2 picks for best partner. Third runner up is Net and JJ, then Auau and Save, and Jimmy and Ohm. I also like how Ryujin and Patji were true to themselves. Who knows? Maybe they will pair up in the future? Or their partner is in a future DMD Friendship series. I was rooting for them to pair up. But I understand why they didn’t.
I’m looking forward to seeing their work together in the future.
Wow you’re inspiring. I tried waiting but gaved up when ep 6 was released 😭😭
I really don’t know if I’ll make it tbh. The struggle is real! I might if I stay off IG for a few weeks, but it’s delusional of me to think THAT will happen!
So much unnecessary hate. You don’t like an actor? Then don’t watch the show or skip their parts. Duh. Spreading your anger-bating hate comments is annoying.
I’m waiting to watch this until the end, though it’s hard because I keep getting bits and pieces in my IG feed and Style has me NEEDING to watch this because this character is everything since he gives no fu€£$ and I resonate with that mindset. I watched the first episode and loved his character the most. But I have always enjoyed these two ships work so it’s no surprise. Honestly, Joong is enough to keep me watching because he’s so damn good looking. Especially when he smiles. And Khao has the sweetest smile, even when he’s acting the villain.
I need S2 like now. I wish I had the restraint to wait until all the episodes were released when this does finally air. but I don’t. So I’m mentally preparing myself for the weekly angst after each episode cliffhanger.
Back after yet another rewatch. This is just such a good series. I love it so much. Seriously. I never get tired of it. The ending always makes me smile.
That ending was something. I feel like I needed 1 more to wrap up. Either way, the drama was messy (in the way that makes you go, DAMN!). Though the actors appear newish, I still found myself drawn to the story and message. I am also drawing my own conclusions to what happened after the credits roll for our leads.
Yet and still, I really wish these 1 minute reel dramas would go away. I understand they’re way more affordable to make, but it’s annoying af to watch. A new app each drama is craziness. This’ll be the last time I do this. I’d rather pay a YouTube channel subscription membership for studios like Sukfilm and Cityboy Live than these reels.
