YouTube is down indefinitely, unless they can work something out. I wouldn't expect a preview there. But they may decide to post the preview on their IG accounts instead. IG isn't owned by China, so they can keep posting content. Though they may decide to add the previews to the end of each episode like sometimes happens on GagaOOLala, but oftentimes, there are no previews and you are just left with the cliffhanger until the next episode release date there.

Please see my comment above or go to their IG accounts. Basically, Chinese authorities made them take it down immediately. IG is not a Chinese-owned platform, but I don't know how YouTube works for other countries (I'm in the USA). They also had to end all broadcasting immediately on all Chinese-owned platforms: WeTV, iQIYI, and YouKu.

Durian Culture just announced on their IG page that, despite their best efforts, as of today, Youku International, WeTV and iQIYI will halt broadcasting of the series. GagaOOLala, Heavenly and Viki are still broadcasting normally. They are working with YouTube to resume broadcasting.

So it looks like China authorities made them pull their account and that's why it went dark yesterday. Looks like it may stay that way, unfortunately. They need to move the production/business to a Singapore or Taiwan holding to save it. Then they can resume like RL. China authorities really need to move past their antiquated anti-same-sex hate. If for no other reason than that they would dominate the market (think capitalistic if nothing else).

I also feel like this series will be more about navigating this new definition of their relationship and accepting it and being open to showing it in front of others. The parents’ acceptance will likely play a big role later on. This kind of makes me think of Cherry Blossoms after Winter.

I love that we don’t have to wait for their romance but that the focus is more on navigating a new step in a long held relationship, as well as social pressures to conform and hide anything “different.” I’m appreciative that they are taking this step. I don’t understand people wanting it to be slower. They’ve waited their entire childhood, especially Tou. Bro just wants to be with his boo.

GagaOOLala has a whole separate series for them. I think they created it about 4-5 episodes in when they realized the craze this series caused was so big that even the BTS needed its own space. There are 14 episodes so far of combined BTS episodes.

But if you read the novel you know it’s a pointless manifestation dream… But I was happy to see they included it since it’s so important.

Rain scene was different than I expected from the novel. Wonder how they’ll do the rain scene from the novel- it’ll be entertaining for sure either way. Honestly, glad it didn’t move that quickly to the one in the novel because I think it would feel too rushed. This cliffhanger isn’t that bad, but that makes me think next week will be crazy with the cliffhangers. Not ready.

Crazy how a simple conversation would clear everything up if he hadn’t made that unreasonable promise to Mom Wu. Chi Cheng was about to be SO furious until SuoWei mentions protecting Mom. Shut Chi Cheng right up, unfortunately failing SuoWei’s test on whether he was “liked” or “loved” by him.

Shuo is devious, and he’s had 6 months to study them before appearing to wreak havoc. He knows them all a lot more than they think. Shuai and SuoWei’s “subtle plan” to trick him failing was cute.

Big bro Zhen is the fly in the ointment. Observant to everything and kind and gentle with SuoWei. I liked his character in the novel and love him here, as well. Both for how he treats SuoWei and for how he handles his brother. Wang Shou is just as described in the novel: scheming little brat whose brother has to reign in. The two brothers really add some spice to the series. I’m here for it all!

This week was a roller coaster. Next week will be even moreso. I wish the days weren’t so damn long!

Same. I prefer the YouTube channel over IG sometimes. That accidental side tap that resets your IG reel streak- drives me crazy. But yeah. I’m sure it’s nothing, but it had me curious.

Yeah, I asked if anyone else had issues. My post said I thought the channel may be deleted or hidden. I was mostly trying to speculate with others on why that may have been so without warning.

No panic on my end. Just a casual observation. I’d be more concerned if everything was taken down everywhere. That would be a red flag for me. But just YouTube felt strange. Especially with no warning like we got for WeTV. Just odd. As long as Saturday’s episode airs on schedule, I’m good 😊 That whole few days’ delay for RL was enough for me.

But removing their channel completely but not their IG profiles doesn’t make sense for this explanation. Makes sense for no new content posts only.

In the novel, Chi Cheng is also big and muscled. It’s all good though. I’m looking forward to the Wang brothers’ dynamic between each other and others, regardless of size.
