I echo the sentiments of others. This was DO good! And I NEED a special episode or S2 because this was wow. I need to read the novel, I guess, but how the actors portrayed their characters… seriously good. It is given a place next to Manner of Death and Triage for me.
why am I thinking this won’t have a happy ending for these two?! Thiu is still hella suspicious of Kan and I doubt 1 episode will resolve that. Too many arrows have pointed to Kan for his detective mind to rest easily with such a neat wrap up. And with Boss’ sudden death without a reason (mad sus) when he was recovering well, any peace Thiu was heading toward would crumple. I doubt he will leave it, regardless of his growing feelings for Kan. I’m imagining him catching Kan at the safe (trap) and arresting him with his police homies, though unhappily because he cannot allow the injustice of Kan getting away with murder, despite his feelings for him. But a teensy weensy part of me wants them to find happiness. What can I say 🤷🏽♀️
I hate BL partnerships but in this case Earth would perhaps benefit from being a couple, with the right partner.…
So true! The right partner would be so beneficial for him. He is often cast as a main lead but written as a supporting character when it comes down to it. I did like My Only 12%, but I wanted more professional growth opportunities for him in newer series. There are some BL comics I’ve read where the character makes me think of Earth if given the opportunity and proper pairing. More grownup, straddling the mature side of the line of sassy and cute, which suits him well. He needs to leave uni scripts for more adult roles, I think. I know he still looks hella young, which is probably why they keep casting him in 20 year old roles, but with better styling, he does fine as his age or 24+ roles. Even his SNS posts are more mature yet youthful and full of the sassy Earth fans love.
North really is better written. He’s got the right amount of simple-minded cluelessness mixed with strength of will that is cute and endearing instead of annoying. It suits his character’s age too.
I dropped or hit a reel with Johan and North brought me back. If I skip all the overly youthful scenes with Easter and only focus on Johan and North, I can like this series. I like the trope of these two. “Clise your boyfriend’s eyes” is CRAZY…and I’m here for it.
But I wish Earth would be cast in better roles which shows his true abilities and charm instead of immature college student with high school angst flashbacks.
*insert long-suffering sigh here* You have a false sense of superiority that thinks I care about your opinion of me on this anonymous social media platform. You were the one who initiated this unsolicited“counter-argument” that I decided. It to engage in with my response to your initial comment on my post. You then decided you needed to mansplain to me, as if I just MUST care about your opinion and would be grateful for your correction. When I further refused to be swayed to your opinion and engage further, you resort to insults. Very predictable of you. This whole one-sided imaginary righteous argument you seem to be having further speaks to your unjustifiable sense of superiority. Who cares, really? Smh
This is my last response to you. I don’t care what you think of me, nor do I care about your “insults.” You don’t know me and I don’t know you, so why would I? (Rhetorical, in case you couldn’t tell.) Good day. (Though I predict you’ll likely need the last word to satisfy that sense of superiority, so you do you.)
I love the characters, especially Aki. But a BL this is not. It’s more of a bromance with aspirations of being a BL. No way college students about to graduate would keep their relationship platonic after declaring to be in love with each other. Just a couple hugs and some hand holding? Not buying the BL, nope. But it is a cute bromance. I love their friendship.
I feel like the director and autopsy doc have a grudge against the doctor and are setting him up. But Doc and the nurse are still mad sus. The director also fits the profile but the evidence in Doc’s possession is crazy incriminating. I don’t think they’d reveal the real murderer in the first episodes. What’s the point? I’m curious how this will unfold because it can’t be that easy. My money is on the director. No way the doc is the murderer if the MLs are supposed to end up a couple.
Tbh I don't understand how some people think this is going to be all fluffy, cute, and fun watching that trailer…
Yes! The trailer goes cute, but the real struggles a couple would face in that situation can’t be glossed over with cuteness. The question posed to Perth’s character of whether he, who hates small children, can still love 7 year old Solar, is a heavy question. How can you have intimacy when your partner is sometimes an adult and sometimes 7? Sometimes you’re a partner, sometimes you’re a parent. That’s some heavy stuff to deal with.
honestly I have never watched a bl but this would be my first one I have seen the edits and I know this is going…
In the meantime, you should watch KinnPorche. a mild BL series 😉. Just kidding. it’s not mild in the least but I love it so much. If you want something emotional and compelling, something that will make you ride a roller coaster of emotions and leave you feeling all kinds of ways, HIStory 3: Make Our Days Count (just stay away from the last episode. and the last 5 minutes of the one just before it. Seriously. You’ve been warned. If you don’t, have a whole tissue box ready.) I just realized from this comment just how many BLs I love and would love to watch again for the first time if I could. If you want suggestions, let me know! 😊
Hahahahaha... imagine watching a random youtube vedieo and this series trailer comes up and the whole time im…
I honestly love Gemini and Fourth but they’re last series was basically used as product promotion and I couldn’t watch MLMU because of it. Here I am hoping this series brings the maturity fans of GemFot are looking for with LESS blatantly obvious promotions in the series. I’m sat so far because the director combined with these actors would produce something memorable. I’ll 🏕️ with you.

what GMM has put out recently. Better. I’m invested. Est’s emotions… Why does he tear up so pretty? 🥺
